You must. It is so incredibly beautiful. Don't go with a tour group. Just linger and walk and savor. Stay for at least a full week. Walking in the morning, during the day, twilight, night is just so pleasurable. Food and gelato! Ahhh

@@sergpie well the first thing , there's nothing called Arabic architecture, the second the Roman architecture is from Greece and Italy , I don't really know how to explain this to you but the Roman architecture is influenced by another Italian kingdom was before the Romans and I think from them they got the Latin alphabet too , plus the french and European architecture is not Roman .

Rome was the spearhead of modern, rationalist architecture from the 1920s to the 1960s. Look at EUR and the many apartment buildings built in the 1930s and 40s that look like streamlined Roman insulae.

Beautiful views but hard to believe there are so few people moving about. This is Rome, without the crazy tourist crowds?
Was this because of the CoVid lockdowns?
One thing is never said about Rome: the large amount of public green inside the city, if you don't view it from the sky you don't realize it (also why you can't see it in its full extension).
There are a lot of parks and villas; I'm Roman, so I'm (probably) biased, but I honestly don't know how many cities of this size make so much greenery available to citizens and tourists.
