Bluebell Railway - 'Diesel Gala' 02/04/2017

The weekend of 31st March - 2nd April saw the Bluebell Railway host it's annual Diesel Gala. Originally meant to consist of 2 Class 50's as well as a Class 37 and more, the revised line up saw no less than 6 diesels take to Bluebell metals over the course of the weekend; the Class 09 being a resident at the Bluebell.
Class 20 20205 failed during the gala, when one of the Traction Motors blew upon exiting Horsted Keynes for East Grinstead.

great video. when i heard it was going to be a western theme i hoped they might get the east lancs warship in. I did consider popping down but didnt manage in the end

Cheers! I was a little disappointed when I heard the second 50 had failed - I do have a soft spot for the 50's. Even still, with the revised line up, it was a really enjoyable day.
