- I got hundreds of requests to react to the entries for Junior Eurovision 2018. I never intended on reacting to any Junior ESCs, but that may change after seeing how amazing these kids are. Good luck to everyone!💚✌️

The predicted winners are: Kazakhstan, France, Poland, The Netherlands, Ukraine and maybe Georgia

You can check out the jury/televoter split results, it was crazy! Check out the live performances on the night and you'll be amazed by all of them! A lot of the staging elevated the songs!
I cried when Juries stomped on Kazakhstan. If the juries were more inviting to Kazakhstan, the could have won or at least placed top 3. Good job Polska🇵🇱❤
Now that you are not scared of Junior Eurovision anymore, you need to react to Malta's 2014 JESC entry! I requested that song so many times back in the early days of this channel.
You said FYR Macedonia’s song was “too adult” for the junior contest. I think it is and it’s great. Remember what Norway sent to the ADULT contest this year? Not throwing shade at Norway, but I’m throwing shade 🤷🏽♂️

This year, the Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Albania, Ireland, Serbia, Italy, and Malta songs have the kid singers credited as composers and/or lyricists of their entries.

Nothing to fear, really. All the singers are talented and all songs have a positive message rather than a sleazy message. Though I do recommend the best way to understand the songs is to see the FULL videos.
One thing I like about Junior Eurovision is that none of the kids are making idiots of themselves while the main Eurovision has the odd troll act or bufoon act. All the kids get up and do their best.

Did you notice the two former Irish ESC contestants in the Irish video? Ryan O'Shaughnessy, who became 16th in 2018, and Niamh Kavanagh who won the contest in 1993.

Awesome performance, one of the best! It's a pitty such a awesome but a bit relaxing and calm song was robbed by the running order cause was before Malta and Poland which have got a lot of attention :( But now it's in my playlist! :D

Poland won thanks to the ability to vote for your own country, no doubt about it. It is a good entry though. I think it's best to judge entries by live performance, because sometimes live performance adds magic to the song and sometimes it works the other way. Poland's performance was great in my opinion, much better than studio version. I also loved performances of France, Italy and Armenia and Wales. On the other hand, Kazachstan's and Ukraine's performances were a little bit disappointing, but still good. The biggest shock for me were high scores from juries to Australia and Malta, my two least favorite performances.
Actually most votes that Poland got by The viewers were from France and russia.

Jake this are only small fragments of the whole songs. You should react to the contest itself to really have an opinion about the songs. For example you don't like Poland here although it have won.
I´ve listened to the whole songs a million times and I still dont like Polands song (although it have won) lol

Life would be terrible boring if everybody liked the same things :D I like the song, it's catchy and the lyrics are great. I wanted Kazahstan or Ukraine to win, but I think Poland made the best show.
Not all of these clips did their songs justice, France is one example, that song was great as a whole.

The Netherlands is so underrated.....
Also I feel like your voting actually gave a pretty decent view into how the adult jury probably voted. They loves Australia and Malta a lot. Kazakhstan underperformed with juries. You got on track Jake. Although I differ with some of the choices because I see other choices like France, Poland, and Albania as more kid friendly. I do hope they fix the jury voting being 3/5 adult and voting for your own country. Those two things I deemed not fair since Poland is the 2nd song in a decade with a kid vibe that wins because the jury choices more ballads. Sad for Macedonia since their ballad was pretty interesting. I actually think this years JESC was better than regular ESC haha. But that's just me.
