Love It CVVCLIPS Bro.
"Mr. Perfect, Curt Hennig, bless his soul, he said 'you don't need to do that, you know? Stop doing that.' And thankfully, I didn't break my neck or anything like that. But I shouldn't have done that move." - Brock Lesnar
I'm glad it didn't end in tragedy but it's also a shame we didn't get that epic WM finish. It's not like we'll see many guys come along again at 300lbs able to do a SSP.
The fact that Brock was able to finish it anyway is incredible on its own, but it sure as hell would have been a moment.
One of the biggest crimes of Ruthless Aggression was Angle not getting a longer run with the belt because of his neck. If brock wasn’t so reckless , I dont think Angle gets hooked on painkillers and I dont think he leaves WWE
Brock wasn't reckless. Kurt had neck problems way before that
I think Kurt got addicted on his own. When you’re getting hundreds of those things a month it’s too easy to get hooked on them. When I had surgery I only took Oxycodin for a day or 2 and I can see why people like them. I flushed the rest down the toilet.
@@rashidbinzamanshaan5841 uhh brock broke Angle’s neck twice, broke Hardcore Holly’s neck, ATrain F5, Undertaker WM concussion… i love Brock , but should i keep going?
@@theblinkerxyoure listing things that arent proven minus Holly. Prove it
@@3rdSanderson kurt angle said it himself on multiple podcasts? Its known fact that he hurt Holly on that powerbomb, botched the f5 on albert & concussed undertaker lol again i love brock but hes reckless NOT dangerous to work with
Mike Chioda, Earl and Brian Hebner, etc belong in the HOF
We watched that match live at Callahan's Sports Bar back in the day -- thought Brock was dead. We always watched the PPVs at either Hooters, Buffalo Wild Wings, or Callahan's, then once Hooters & BWW started in with a cover chargem Callahan's became the spot...Kurt went to grade school & high school with my cousins
I always love that little gimmick of the ref helping to set up the suspense of a high spot by acting like he's gotta get the guy down off the turnbuckle LoL
Why would a 285 pound wrestler attempt a shooting star press? I don't know what he was trying to prove. He's not an aerial wrestler.
Brock used to do the move all the time flawlessly back in OVW. If you look it up, you'll see videos of him doing the move with no issue whatsoever. It was a fluke accident.
@@DukeDarkshadowMaybe they worked with a smaller ring in OVW cuz over there the guys looked huge. And I don't just mean that because they had freight trains like Brock, Batista and Cena 😂
Chioda has a mic and you still can't hear him.
Brock was like to early, had he waited 2-3 seconds longer to jump it legit could have worked out.
He slipped dude he talks about it in his book
I agree as you can see him rush and wobble the jump, but he was still too far away even if he got it right.
@@cathallynch8269 he slipped if you read his book he says why and what went wrong
@@3rdSandersondid he?
@@watersandblue6001yes he also said it on interviews. Brock used to land shooting star presses like nothing back in OVW and his early days in the WWE.
Incredible moment
I wish modern WWE games would allow lesnar to do the SSP but have him land on his head. Make it like a super flying headbutt.
He broke infact his neck and Kurt Angle told him to do it
my favorite ref
I have a friend who always referred to it as the "brock lesnar shooting star self piledriver."
He slipped from sweat on the ropes
Goat ref
Today's landscape of wwe/ pro wrestling you will see guys wiggle a little or move too get in the center for proper position.
And though I get you don't want to take people out of the immersion, that's the right thing to do to mitigate chances of injury.
Cigarettes are bad for your voice.
What is up with the voices? Vince sounds exactly the same.
Rey does too…
Years of yelling
Every wrestler can do a vince impression.
Are you mad because you have a girly voice and theirs are deep?
wrestlers squirming “into position” is one of those things modern wrestlers do that takes me out of the moment every time 😂 idk why either , guys today are more athletic and smaller so shouldn’t have an issue to modify a frog splash or whatever.
Fact check: Kurt was wrestling with a BROKEN FREAKING NECK at wrestlemania 19
Why are they wearing the exact same fit
is mike chioda a heavy smoker? guy sounds like he has a few miles on him
He looks like it
