Palawan alone have thousands of islands included in the hopping tour, some are hidden gems, not to mention luxurious Amanpulo, Balabac, Banwa, Huma Islands, Honda Bay, Boracay, Bohol, Cebu, Siquijor, Siargao, Camiguin, Batanes, Iloilo Tablas Romblon, Apo Island, Can you count them.

I am 67 years old and spend a portion of the year living in a provincial area near Digos with my Filipina wife and her family. Although there are a few negatives, I've grown accustomed to them and embraced all of the positives. The differences between my home in Wisconsin and here in Digos make me appreciate both of them even more.
I understand what you mean completely, I was moving around a lot with my family and by leaving a place you realise what you actually should have appreciated whilst living there (sometimes those things are super random 😂). There are good things everywhere so I’m looking forward to discovering even more of what the Philippines has to offer 😌😍

Just never empty ur pockets and save money or established a business that can sustain till ur old ..coz trust me, those people u have treated good while u got money have dark sides ..

It's good to live in the Philippines if you're a rich white person. They spend pennies on the country and are basically worshipped by Filipinos. It's crappy to live in the Philippines if you're a regular Filipino.

Best time to do it while you’re still young! My husband (who’s also English) went to PH for the first time in 1999 way before iPhone and social media hahaha! And since then we’ve been coming back home almost every year! All the best! Filipinos are happy and helpful - and they love being on camera lol.

I just got back to the USA from my 3weeks vacation in the Philippines and JETLAG is REAL. I had a hard time adjusting to the time change when I got to the Philippines and then a hard time getting back to my time zone here in Arizona. JET LAGGGGGGG!!!! ENJOY !!!! I'm jealous even if I just left PI.

why? as you grow older, you realize that there are things in life that are more important than high salary.
the sense of community in Ph is so alive, I can talk with strangers, help other people without being judged.
the happy culture and peple are generally helpful.
too many reasons why I don't want to live abroad.
