So I’ve purchased the 48v enjoybot batteries, charger and cord cap for a club car precedent. I fully charged batteries prior to install, install went smooth and cart performs well. I just ran into an issue though, after installing the precedent cord cap and attempting to plug into the cart to charge I received an error message. Before I start spending time troubleshooting do you have any idea what the issue could be? The cord cap is definitely installed correctly, I’m an electrician by trade.
Thanks in advance! Love you channel!

I have a 2014 EZGO TXT 48V stock motor & Controller and I just swapped to 4 Power Queen mini lithium 100AH Batteries, the total weight was just over 76 lbs, I think its about 300lbs lighter now. My first run I went over 41 miles in City driving. Top speed was 26mph on flat ground. I paid $900 for the batteries (on sale), $15 for 4Ga Wire and $150 for this Charger. I will probably add a Battery Cut off Switch $15...

Hey Ryan. Firstly, thank you for ALL of your super educational and detailed videos.
I’m new to golf carts and I’ve picked up an old 96 EzGo 36v TXT that I plan to refurbish. So far, I’ve got a new admiral motor (MOT-B2), Navitas 600A controller, “On The Fly” programmer, HD solenoid, 2GA wire set, front and rear shocks, HD leaf springs, 4” lift kit, 20” off road tires, 36v to 12V step down transformer, The HTRC P3648 charger you reference in this video, and I’m waiting on delivery of 3 12V 100Ah Ejoybot lithium batteries. Can you say expensive!? Yes.
Am I missing anything? I know that’s a lot, but do you have any advice for when I get started with the tear down and rebuild? Thanks Man!!

Let me start off saying I’m new to 48v golf carts. I recently purchased a 2016 Club Car Precedent with 2022 Trojan Lead Acid batteries. The cart came with the ERIC factory charger. Is it best practice to leave charger connected to cart, to allow the charger to maintain battery voltage (Float Charge) maintaining proper electrolyte levels. Or will this have a negative effect of the life span of lead acid batteries?

Not really. I would encourage everyone to get a shunt meter so you can measure your battery capacity. Its far more advanced than just a regular gauge. Plus its only like $40 bucks if that. I did a full video on it as well. If you are thinking of this charger and those batteries due to price only. I also did a video of the big battery falcon elite for $1500 with charger using my coupon code and it gave me 20 mile range and you always have the option of adding another battery down the road for more distance, Plus that bms will handle more amperage output. Everytime to put them on charge go back to 48v 5amp charge then it will update the volts. The sensing system somehow did not get accurate voltage at first. U will see your battery % is also different on 48v 5amp like 40% and as soon u switch to 48v 13amp it went from 40 to 80% why? The system detects volts doesnt work until you do all that back and forth.
