Hey! I was the British dude who was dressed as Ash from Evil Dead 2 in this video. Just want to say thank you James for featuring me in this video! The convention was amazing and so was America. This was my first time leaving the UK and what an experience! I hope to be back soon, love the video James and Chelsea!
Awesome man! Glad you got to see the video. Also, some people are saying we're doppelgangers which is quite a compliment to me. Hope to see you next year!
-Your American Tethered Version, James.
@@DeadMeat that's definitely a compliment to me man and I hope to see you both again, hopefully at the next Frightmare if I make it! Maybe you should dress up as Ash and join me? Hahah! I wish you and Chelsea the best!
Nice costume dude 👍
Hey Liam, can we follow you on insta too?
Liam Robinson that was an awesome Ash Cosplay! Really amazing!
Recovering from a stroke and he still manages to make it out to see his fans, this is why Tim Curry is a legend
I love Tim Curry...
The world needs more great people like that!
He was a five-hour Wait, but absolutely worth it.
Man is an absolute king
Why is it always the legends of the world that get it the worst?
“Freddy Kreuger/Robert Englund is sexy”
*Camera nods profusely*
Chelsea loves him
She talked about it in one of the podcasts. She thinks Freddy is sexy.
Louis DeFeo
Which podcast?
@@slasherxs8336 I think it was either Would You Rather or Fuck, Marry, Get killed by
Camera has good taste but I like him with guys better not into hetero I thought James was answering
Oh Wow, the legend ends! The truck driver in Texas Chainsaw Massacre finally got to sit down! 😁
Rachael Ward Guy needs some rest. He’s been running away from Leatherface for 40 years.
and also had a bite to eat too! lol
@@dweetsauce8513 Actually since he said he joined them, I'm not sure he was running all too long from Leatherface
He joined the club
@@infinityhand6569 qwjskksaksisiwpčžą w
We finally know what happened with the semi truck driver
He joined the club
He joined the club
What a legend
He joined the club
He joined the club
I love how Heather’s face lit up when you asked about her effects work
Kerri Angel TIL that she was responsible for the merman with the bloody blowhole. I now love this woman even more!
@Nicholas Cox why would it het negative?
Well yeah since people mainly know her from Nightmare on Elm St and not her effects work
"Be good people
Eat good people!"
That was awesome
YES!😈
I love these because the horror actors never expect these wholesome questions and get so into it.
I loved that one lady (... who kissed freddy?) being all 'that was so wholesome, thank you'
I love Chelsea’s camera nods in response to Robert and Malcolm! I’m glad y’all had a fun time! Living vicariously through everyone in this video 💖
BananaBreadinc I just love Chelsea in general I find her adorable!! The camera nods made it better,
@sasuke uchiha literally who said it was hard to miss?
haha i couldnt stop laughing at that c'x chelsea is great!
welp guess i can check "made it into a Dead Meat vid" off my bucket list 😅
That's rad!!
You were in here?! When!!
James the fact that you’re so confident when talking to all these celebrities blows my mind, mad respect!🖤
I find that if you just act cool and just talk to them like a normal person would then they are really approachable and fun to be around. It also helps to do some research and find out about other projects they have done besides what they are really known for. That worked in my favor when I met Bruce Boxleitner at a sci fi con a few years back. We ended up talking about his work in westerns more than his sci fi stuff and he really appreciated that. Same with Patricia Tallman, who was hands down one of the coolest people I've ever met a horror con. She even signed my copy of Army of Darkness (she played the possessed witch that Ash called a She Bitch) which I wasn't expecting but she did it for free because we talked about her work as a stunt woman quite a bit.
No shit, I met Robert Englund and nearly passed out, I was so excited. I barely was able to speak XD
LightningTTfan14 I was talking to Christopher Lloyd and I got so nervous
I can’t believe you met Heather Langenkamp her freaking self
Axel Nilsson I met her at creature con in California. She's truly so warm, nice, and she talked to us for like 30 minutes after the convention was over.
Very cool thanks for that
She was at Horror Con in 2018 or 2017, but I missed the opportunity to properly meet her.
But I've still met my fair share of Horror celebs. I've met Kane Hodder, Edwin Neal & Dario Argento. I'm definitely going to be going to these conventions on an annual basis.
I dunno if I'm gonna be able to go to the ones in the US, but I'm aiming to at least attend one of each.
Axel Nilsson I met Her at a Convention Last year as well, She was really Nice also Felissa Was TOO NICE AS WELL!!!!
she's a legend
“It’s Robert England and he’s sexy”
*Chelsea nods the camera up and down*
James asks the best interview questions. It’s such a different side of the actors we don’t always get to see! You can tell they’re having fun with it too
LMAOOO Chelsea's vigorous camera shakes agreeing that Freddy Krueger and Malcolm McDowell are sexy had me cackling.
love the questions you ask and the way you ask them. a lot of these actors would likely be swarmed by overcome fans all day, which is to be expected not that theres anything wrong with that, but someone who actually speaks to them calmly and invitingly, with genuinely insightful questions, then it would give them a nice break from all that. they all seem super comfortable . cool way to engage on a more personal level and get some cool insight into the actor themselves. big fan of the videos mane keep it up
James just has that charisma. And maybe too since he was an actor he knows how to talk to other actors.
I just act like they're normal people who've been in kick ass movies and shows that I like and that helps when I've met a lot of them at cons. Just be cool and act normal instead of fanboying all over the place. Nothing freaks these people out more than the ones who can't separate fantasy from reality, and it's one of the reasons quite a few of these celebrities don't do cons very often because of possibly running into these weirdos.
Holy shit Liam looks like your Tethered, James
I'm honoured haha!
I don’t know man a picture with rober Englund and Heather Langenkamp would make it worth it to me
Chelsea behind the camera during the Kathleen Kinmont interview is just the best. Also Tyler seems like a really cool dude.
The way Heather lit up when you asked her about her special fx work with her husband brought joy to my heart omg ❤️
Seeing Jeffery combs makes me want to watch The Frightners again lol
Jeffrey Combs is a pretty cool guy.
Man I wish I lived in Texas. Nice video man.
Nah i live in Tx but i couldn't go so it sucks.Wished i lived in Dalla,Tx not Fortsworth
I live in Houston
I live in Melbourne
Jake4 _YT I live in Oregon so I can’t go
Kevin Isthebest1738 Fort Worth isn’t that far away dude lmao, I thought you were gonna say you lived somewhere actually far away
I literally saw Heather Langenkamp and screamed, she’s a queeeeeennnnnn
omfg I didn't know Tim Curry had a stroke several years ago. guy deserves better!
damn i didn't realize it was in 2012, thought it would have been way earlier. poor guy.
I miss him
When Tyler gave you sign was genuinely adorable, great channel and you deserve all the subs and success!!
@Lisa Brooks Hello there
love how james is actually excited about all these people and the facts
not being pretentious
love this channel
Out of all the community's ive seen the horror comunity has some of the kindest group of people ive encounter
Does that include the time I stole a comic book when I was 5?
Bundy? You’re still alive?
I went to Texas Frightmare Weekend and couldn’t find you! I was dressed as Hannibal Lecter
He posted a picture on where to meet him.
Skalopulton301 Oh. Well that’s tuff... guess there’s always next time
Denizen Yep that’s true. Also I live near Dallas it’s a long drive to Dallas but I wish I went. I wanna meat him so bad.
Denizen coronavirus
I think we're DEAD MEAT. Real Dead Meat.
Your'e dead meeeaat!
lugh your heads off who ever did this is dead meat!
Friday the 13th part 6
Hello! My mom was the woman who asked you for the birthday video for my boyfriend! I appreciate the gesture so much, and Nate was so excited. I'll see you next year!
I stood next to that Tyler kid in the meet and greet. He is the coolest kid ever. Congrats on making the video Tyler. TFW is so amazing! Going every year now
I loved being able to go to this convention and meet jamss and Chelsea and the rest of us mods! Def the highlight of my year
The semi truck driver the legend has been solved!!!
Glow sticks are made from acid and one of them melted a hole in my drawers
Slimer 450 I eat one of them
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOREVER BUT ITS WORTH THE WAIT THE FILMMAKING IS GREAT THANKS!!!
“It’s not a real wedding ring it’s just to keep the dorks away” 😂😂😂
How exciting! Glad you enjoyed yourself. 💗
Don’t eat glow sticks - James 2019
Jax I agree I cannot remember I think I broke a glow stick when I was little I cannot remember it and taste it I just can’t remember
Whoever that person wearing the nameless ghoul mask was, I love you :)
Haha I'm pretty sure that was a kid? Big kudos to those parents.
That was me! Love you too. HAHA!
What at 11:07
Heather’s infamous line:”Don’t. Fall. Asleep.” I always sing without knowing the line that follows after “Dont drop the curtains down” from “Counting sheep”. Its very, very cool to hear a line that famous to flow through your brain.
(Also i saw something on her face when james mentioned that she had great effects work)
I waited in line eight and a half hours for Robert Englund’s signature on Saturday and the second I shook his hand, it was all worth it.
Love these. One of my favorite Dead meat videos. I think you should get a booth next year. You're doing a lot of promoting for horror and do it well. Great job
IM IN THE VIDEO! IM IN THE VIDEO! 10:17 YEEEEEEES
Dude in the red jumpsuit with glasses
AL-X BERLANGA where are you?
@@tonybadoni to the right
were you in line for the meet up? bc if so I might have pictures from it of you!! I was filming the whole time
The way the two of you love horror together is my favorite part of Dead Meat.
Since Elm Street is my favorite series I always love to see those cast members. Shocked to see both Robert Wilson AND Eric Freeman! And bless Tim Curry. Great video, felt like I was there.
I'm so happy that I got to meet you and get an autograph! 💖 I will always be a fan no matter what.
Absolutely love how humble and appreciative you guys are. So many youtubers gain more traction and lose that personal connection with their audience, but you both seem so grateful for your fans. Genuinely warms my heart. You’re killin it! Don’t change a thing. Much love ❤️
When I saw the thumbnail I was thinking "is that Texas frightmare 2018 or Texas frightmare 2019?" And then I figured out it was 2019 and my eyes went 0_0.
Really Sad, missed ya this year guys. Hope to see ya next year XD
I couldn't go 😢 but at least you made this video
I would actually scream every second if i was there but i don't don't know why i'm so calm watching ur videos
I was saying this today, I'd love to go but I'd be terrified the entire time 😂
Chelsea Russell exactly
“Can’t wait to come next year” 😔
Hey! It was so fun to meet you there, I was in the Tim Curry line on Saturday. Thank you for taking a picture with me, it made my day
You’re literally my favourite CZcamsr. You’re such a nice guy, and it’s a pleasure to watch your vids. Keep up the great work!
First of all, I love your questions to the actors. It's not your standard questions. You clearly put some thought into them. Second, THANK YOU! You and Chelsea do such a great job with the channel. Your love of the genre comes through with every video and podcast. You respect your horror icons AND your fans. I am so happy for the both of you that you are able to do what you love for a living. Might have to add Texas Frightmare 2020 to the calender and wait in line to meet my favorite horror CZcamsrs.
“what was your favorite christmas present growing up?”
“well it would have to be..an axe.” i died 🤣
Awesome to see how nice and friendly the Dead Meat fanbase is everytime you show clips from a convention.
Jeffrey Combs seems like so much fun
I was always kind of into scary movies but it wasn’t until I found this channel that I discovered my true love of horror. Since then I’ve watched a lot of classics that I had never seen (Sleepaway Camp, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Night of The Living Dead, Evil Dead, etc) and found out that I’m really into film and cinematography. Now I know a lot about horror movies that I haven’t even seen yet 😂
Love the channel and the podcast, and all the hard work you put into your content ♥️🖤
James, saw alot of you talking about the movie reanimator. Why dont you do a kill count of it??? Btw i love your work keep doing the best you can!!
Joseph Richardson Please send Kill Count requests to deadmeatmovies@gmail.com - Thanks! 😊
Jourdynne don’t get why you see the need to send this.
Nick Network Gaming because it’s my job as a mod

Texas Frightmare was sooo much fun, I wanna go back next year
This looks really fun...maybe I'll try to come there next year
That dude Liam seems super chill, respect for travelling out there for this.
It was definitely worth the travelling, I loved the convention, and America of course haha!
And you DID get me back into horror movies, thru the podcast and Kill Count. Ignited a whole new passion for the academia involved in the genre, and just a new appreciation for the art craft itself. Thank you.
i love Heather aka Nancy! wish you would have done a real interview with her! any more footage of her??
Wht didn't you meet Bruce Campbell, he was there too😢😢
Edit:I hope to see you next year James, you actually made me watch a lot of horror movies ever since I watched your channel (Childs Play franchise, The Thing, etc.) And you even brought back some memories with some of the good movies you covered and you make me want to watch more😁
It was impossible to get to him
@@CPSlayer honestly, that's believable, even tho people asked questions for him on reddit
AWESOME video James. You could totally do a 40min video or longer. I'd be just as glued. Love these event reviews, just getting better and better!
Heather seemed genuinely happy you mentioned her sfx work
This channel is so well done it’s amazing. Congrats James you must be so happy with your work :)
James “One of my favorite horror movies” Janisse ... 😂
It was so awesome meeting the both of y’all it sucks y’all couldn’t meet Robert we got out of line shortly after y’all did. But it was def a awesome first time can’t wait for 2020 see you guys there!
Thanks so much for this James! You are the best! You find the best people - to finally know what happened to the semi-truck driver, Ed Gwynn was great! And to have Billy and also Mr. Garbage Day, himself - just rocks! When I was in my teens and 20s, I was able to go to a lot of conventions and also concert reunion tours for bands from the 60s and 70s, but alas, I don't have the money to do so now, especially with my medical problems. I so wish I could go to these events. They are like heaven to me! Thanks for letting me live vicariously through your experiences! You, GoodBadFlicks, and Foundflix show us all the fun!
11:20 Best Moment of the whole video
James: Angela didn’t have the best time at sleep away camp-
Felissa’s face: *didn’t she though? Didn’t she?* 😏
You guys are the ones who got me into not just horror movies but into movies in general and I’m grateful for that because now I’m more culturally diverse and can keep a conversation going because of my knowledge of movies and actors and it’s all thanks to you so truly thank you for all you do
Binge watching and I just love the questions you come up with. I'm sure all these people appreciate the research you've put behind these questions!!
That’s so weird. Liam (Ash) that you spoke to was at HorrorConUK last week with us.
I couldn't miss Sheffield, it's the annual meet up with everyone. Even if I were jet lagged and tired, I was gonna be there haha!
Liam Robinson that’s dedication for you man! And that Ash costume was on point!
7:50 he rolled his eyes so hard when you brought up GARBAGE DAY
No he didn't
This is awesome! Thank you so much for posting this. Really cool to see all of these great horror icons. Keep up the great work you all! :)
Awesome seeing how much passion James has for this genre, his questions are so good and well thought out
Best youtuber I wach every video
dammit money and school, because of you I cant go here :(
edit: I hope you had a great time James and a great time with the rest of the conventions you go too.
James, Thanks for being the best youtuber and being so uplifting! You were there when I was down and I just wanted to thank you for that!👍
Tyler and James at the end got me feeling all fuzzy and stuff. It's so good to see passionate people spreading art and love, even in a grungy genre such as horror. Much love to you James, for being an inspiration! 🖤
Finally, after more than 40 years, we finally found out what happened to the semi truck driver, he joined the club.
At least he didn’t die.
Man, I wish I could go to this convention 😞
I honestly didnt expect to see you guys and was sooo surprised that first day. Tried to get to the meetup but it was way too croweded, i skipped a lot of lines dues to wearing 👠 lol. Excellent video and see you next year!
You're such a nice interviewer and just how nice you are melts my heart.
Don't ever stop bein you.
wish Tobin Bell was there that would be so damn cool!!!
The costumes were amazing
I found this channel 2 days ago and ALREADY IN LOVE
Easily one of my Favorite youtubers. Looks like he cares so much of his fans and is a down to earth kinda guy. Would love to meet him !
Clockwork Orange is a great movie
This is how to start a Sunday
I'm sure that Times Like These make all the hard work you guys put in more than worth it!
You were so respectful to everyone and your questions were great! 10/10 Content keep up the awesome work!
james is such a cutie i love watching him geek out
i would love to see kill counts for the syfy show "channel zero"!
hocus pocus Please send Kill Count requests to deadmeatmovies@gmail.com - requests in the comments are strongly discouraged and will not be considered. Thanks! 😊
Honestly, I got into horror movies because of you as silly as that might sound. Growing up I could never handle them, but was always so intrigued by them as I got older but still was wary until I found your channel. You showed me how to find the humor in the horror and it's really helped me be able to watch movies that I never could growing up because now I can always find a way to laugh at them 😊 I really hope I get to go to Texas Frightmare one year and meet you and Chelsea!
I loved all your questions! So unique and different, I could tell they enjoyed answering them!!
