- I went to Sporting Clube de Portugal (Sporting Lisbon) 1-2 FC Porto in the semi final of the Taça de Portugal 2022.
The ultras and fans created one of the best atmospheres I've seen this season! The José Alvalade Stadium was rocking!!!
Despite losing, Rúben Amorim's team have already won the Taça da Liga (League Cup) this season and are champions of Portugal having won the Liga Nos last season.

Watched all the videos mate. Great videos to watch. I once told my kids it’s Sporting Lisbon while in a sports store in vilamoura, Algarve….the guy was pissed. He gave me a huge lecture about it being Sporting Club Portugal, it’s never been called Sporting Lisbon.

After training Sporting CP. Our stupid president at that time, sacked Sir Bobby Robson for whom we Sporting fans had to much care and respect to put Carlos Queirós on his place. One of the dumbest decisions, one of many my clube did the past 30 years. FCPorto president, after took him to FCPorto to my disgust.

Then you got our biggest rivals, Sport Lisboa e Benfica (SLB) know as Benfica, they are the ones who have Lisbon in their name, not us.

Another great video, yep This is football in Portugal one of the most important things to the portuguese people and also for portuguese econemy... since you were talking about titles for the 3 grandes let me tell a fact about Sporting... We are not just a football clube, yeah the biggest part is football but we are a club of many sports, like indoor soccer, hoquey, volleyball, basketball, running, judo and many more and in that mather we are one of the worlds most succefull clubs and not sure right now but at one point not that long ago we were the second or third Clube in the world with more sports tittles from all sports combined...
Believe me, if you go for the chills you can't miss one of this matches at Estádio do Dragão (FC PORTO).

We played too poorly in the 1st leg, even if it is City we're talking about, we played bellow our quality, a lot of young players, not really used to this kind of stage so they probably got nervous. If we do play with our starting 11 i hope the boys will keep their cool this time and show them our quality.
Great viewing and what an experience you had. If you get a chance then try visit the old national stadium (the one Celtic won the European cup) It like taking a step back in time and weird to see the horse shoe shaped terracing.
