  • Here is my LGBT recommendation video! I didn't realize until I made this video that almost all of these are m/m romances, I haven't read many f/f romances or bisexual romances so if you have any good recommendations for that, please leave them below. I also put my LGBT TBR below so you can see some of the books I haven't read yet but want to read soon. ALSO, SORRY for the loud obnoxious noises at the end, my neighbors are working on their house and it's annoying and loud! I apologize to those listening in headphones! ):

Recently read "Him" and LOVED it! Also wanted to recommend to you a book called "Autoboyography" by Christina Lauren. THE best LGBTQ book I've read yet, and I've read a lot of them.

One of my favorites is Song of Achilles by Madeleine Miller. It's an Iliad retelling but it focuses on the POV of Patroclus, it's the M/M romance between Achilles and Patroclus.
I'm almost done with Heels over Head !! I can't wait to finish it

This is crazy. I was literally hoping you'd do a video like this one! Probably because I've been wanting to recommend Hot Head by Damon Suede to you for a while now. But I didn't even have to worry about it because I see it's in your TBR. It's personally my all time favorite m/m romance book so far. But if I ever run into a good female/female book, I'll let you know.

I've never read any fiction books beyond YA genre, I'm afraid I won't understand anything told in an adult's perspective. But now I can't believe myself writing down all the NA you recommended, thanks. BTW you should also read all the books written by Silvera, they all kind of, sort of, definitely depressing, but its worth all the tears.

I just saw your review and I've got to say, you have such a good taste. I would recommend " The understatement of the year" by Sarina Bowen ( my favorite author of m/m genres). It is such a beautiful but heartbreaking story. This is the only book that topped "Him & Us series" and that's an understatement because Him is my absolute fave m/m book of all time. If you haven't, please give it a try. Sarina Bowen is just an amazing author!

for f/f romance-Spellbook of the lost and found/as i descended/far from you/then there were four. f/f is lacking though, those are my only f/f's books i have out of the 50 books and series with lgbt I own.
Also Malinda Lo's books, Our own Private Universe and How to make a wish are also f/f reads I have read and enjoyed.
My favorite of all time has to be Captive Prince.
With your tbr, really love the foxhole court, but it can be a hit and miss.

I enjoyed "Goodbye Paradise" by Sarina Bowen. It's a little bit weird at times just because of the premise but it's super angsty! Also, there's a fight scene in it that had me sobbing it was so raw and heartbreaking.

Off Base by Annabeth Albert was one of the first m/m romance books I've read and I quickly read most of what she has written. I'm trying to save some of her books as future treats. I really enjoyed Everything Leads to You by Nina LaCour, it is a f/f YA and so lovely. Thaw by Elyse Springer is on my list, it is a f/f romance with an asexual protagonist. Looking forward to more LGBT recs!

I've heard that 'Georgia Peaches and Other Forbidden Fruit' is a good and highly recommended female love story. Another male coming of age/lgbtqiap romance that I really enjoyed was Call Me By Your Name (which has the award winning film out) because it is written so well and written with absolute care, and you can just get the perfect image of what is happening in the story. Haha so those are my suggestions

"Wolfsong" by TJ Klune..... it is fantasy but I REALLY liked it. I started with ya m/m books like three years ago and although I've slightly gravitated towards more adult books now, I've never hopped off that train. I just finished "rock" by anyta Sunday. hands down my absolute favourite book/series is Cut and Run. i have read and reread them and I just love ty and zane and their family and friends and their whole story. and when I say they are my otp I mean I will go down with this ship. please check them out (also The Foxhole Court series is.... not good. looking forward to see what you think about it, although I would overall recommend just not reading them)
also, the love interest... ugh, I LOVED the middle, the beginning was okay-ish, but the ending....made absolutely no sense. I hope the author sticks more to the contemporary thing, cause that was the strong point of the book, and lets the scifi/dystopia rest.

gabbyreads you really should. It's a series, well the story between Tate and Logan ended in book 3 but the author wanted to give them more, so she wrote three more books. I consider those books like epilogue, they weren't needed but they were nice to have. You should really read them.. I would like to here you opinion on it.
