I’ve tried this video multiple times step by step and still having the same issue. I can load up riot client, I hit play for valorant and it never loads. Everytime and it’s been this way for months. Any help would be appreciated

just wondering. why should a player do this at all? there is a game installer that must configure everything itself. I don't need these dances with settings. The developers made the game, but most players just can't launch it right away. And it's sad.
Did these steps many times. What worked for me was removing all instances of riot and valorant, and reinstalling them. Then followed the steps here. Finally worked after working on it for hours.

This PARTLY worked for me. The first time I followed these steps, the login screen actually launched. First time ive seen it in months lol. Logged in, launched it, then it crashed. Now it goes back to doing the same thing before the fixes. Uninstalled Vanguard, it said it was "installing" but it did it almost instantly. Never even had a progress bar. And now the login screen doesnt come up anymore. Im so lost...

just a little worried and wanted to ask, what do i do, that when I press valorant it shows the little riot client symbol bottom left corner but disappears in a few minutes then it glitches my whole pc out and made my pc so laggy and glitchy to the point where i pressed the 'off' button it didnt work so I had to unplug my pc?
@@acies9408 maybe try repeating the steps again ,if it doesn't work, maybe u can follow this video step by step to see if something changes. If that too fails then reinstalling valorant is always the option. You can also try contacting valorant or look for another solution online

tl;dr; "netsh winhttp reset proxy" After trying everything to fix this issue I read the logs. The issue in my case was that valorant was trying to connect to internet through a proxy. (127.0.0.1:2081) But since the proxy was not running the connection eventually timesout. So the solution was running `netsh winhttp show proxy` & `netsh winhttp reset proxy` in elevated cmd. Hope this help for someone who has the same problem as me :)

@@justkim90 it’s not broken they just updated the compatibility.. you need to go into your bios settings and turn on secure boot/tpm and turn on uefi

it worked, for a bit. i was in the middle of the tutorial, and then it said this version of vanguard requires secure boot enabled in order to play.
