How you expect to do this with black screen??

Hi there, thank you for your question! Try hard reset your laptop by holding down the power button for 10-15 seconds this can sometimes resolve the issue. If that doesn't work make sure all the connections between the monitor and the computer are fine by trying a different monitor and trying an different port. If none of those work I'd recommend taking it to a professional for further assistance.

How can you use hot keys and see settings if you have the black screen?

    • @RecoveritDataRecoverySoftware

Hi there, thank you for your question. If you're dealing with a black screen on your MacBook Pro and are unable to see anything, using hotkeys and accessing settings directly may be challenging. However, you can try a few steps to troubleshoot the issue:
      Use an External Monitor:
Connect your MacBook Pro to an external monitor. This will help you determine if the issue is related to the built-in display or if it's a broader system problem.
      Reset NVRAM/PRAM and SMC:
Although you can't see the screen, you can still perform a reset of the NVRAM/PRAM and SMC. Follow the steps outlined in my previous response, as these key combinations don't rely on visual feedback.
      Boot into Safe Mode:
Even though you can't see the screen, you can attempt to boot into Safe Mode by holding the Shift key during startup. Safe Mode disables certain system extensions and might allow your MacBook to boot successfully.

Hi there, thank you for your question! I would recommend plugging a USB drive into a different device with bootable windows installed and see if you can launch back into windows to further troubleshoot the issue. If not I would recommend taking it to a professional for further assistance.

Laptop installed an update on it's own while i started it up. I can't even go to login screen.
F2 during boot also results in black screen.
F12 also resolves in black screen.
    Guess i'll take it to a pro😂

Hi there, thank you for your question! If you do not have any important data you can factory reset your pc this will clear all the files and the computer will only have the essentials it had when u initially got the pc just remember to back up all your data beforehand to make sure you don't lose anything.

    • @RecoveritDataRecoverySoftware
      @RecoveritDataRecoverySoftware  Před 6 měsíci +1

Hi there, thank you for your question! The black screen with a cursor means that Windows on your PC has become so corrupted that none of the OS is even “seen” by the BIOS code. The HP logo is contained in the firmware inside the BIOS chip on the motherboard. So that would display even if there were no drive in the PC. The expert suggests that you will need to do a factory reset to reinstall Windows from scratch and will lose everything on the drive in the process. If you have any important files on your laptop, you might want to try booting your laptop from a USB drive and backing up your files before proceeding with the factory reset.

@@ItzBigBrainMy comment got deleted by youpoop because it contains the truth, also you're having problems with uxtheme.dll, which is a primary component of Window's system, and you likely installed a uxtheme patcher because of the error roblox gives, thinking that installing it would fix your problem. Now youre stuck here with the same problem as I am. Am I correct?

Hi there, thank you for your question! Windows Explorer is built into your Windows machine so when you open Task Manager if you click on the process and type "w" eventually Windows Explorer will show lower down in the Task Manager and then you should be able to restart it.
