Japanese music is very underrated. It is one of the few countries that preserves rock culture, while the others are surrendered to basically the same musical styles, like reggaetone, leaving other genres to die.

From hearing the english words of the song I thought it was really sad as the 'protagonist' of the song lost all hope and gets lost in his own revenge. I thought there was 'a bad ending' of the song which is unusual for SSTP as their songs always ends with hope and the 'protagonist' gets through his struggles. Thank you for translating, now I have a different image for paradox.

Yeah peace of mind for myself, and the fact the band is literally called “Survive said the prophet”, really hits home how precious life is and that it should be protected and cherished. Sometimes really having to protect your own life and that it’s worth protecting. And realizing being glad to be alive.
It's honestly crazy how most of my life I never liked nor imagined myself listening to anything metal related but fell in love with it a couple of years ago and found peace of mind from this song.
SIM, SSTP and One Ok Rock are the bands that made get into rock music and im really grateful.

I'm not even exaggerating as to how much this band has helped me in different aspects of my life.
Paradox is so fitting for S2 and I actually shed a tear rewatching the opening as there was just so much raw emotion. The way it tied into the story and this season, which acts as Thorfinn's awakening to redemption was even more impactful.
I hope SSTP continues to do the openings for the future seasons of Vinland Saga and that we can all hopefully see through this wonderful story to the end
Thank you Vinland Saga for being one of the greatest animes ever, and thank you for introducing us to this amazing band, you guys are so great and awesome.
