This Park sign describes "the Snake"
"You are standing at the top of curves that road enthusiasts affectionately call "The Snake". Over the years Mulholland Highway has tested the merits of cars from Duesenbergs to Teslas. This particular stretch of road is a mecca for motorcyclists. It's sharp turns offer an adrenaline rush and a chance for fun, fame and often folly.
To your left is "Edwards Corner". It was named after the late Ed Savko, long-time owner of the Rock Store., a popular road house just down the hill. Hundreds of riders have (----) on this challenging 180- degree curve, perhaps showing off for spectators, who often gather here. Other succumb safely to the charm of "The Snake." "

@@tintshady2049 if you compare pictures on Google it seems like its a rz350 with a modified tzr 250 fairing. Maybe also partially tzr frame but my guess would be that its just adapted fairing

That fella on the Harley about 40secs in, that's some good riding chucking one of them about and getting your knee down on a big heavy beast like that.. Love the 2strokes I grew up with 2strokes and still keep an Aprillia RS125 now just because it's fun to ride. That guy on the Harley is my new hero. Great Video

Thanks for this video and all your work. 15 years ago i lived in Santa Clara CA, every Sunday i'd ride Skyline Blvd for an hour or 2 on my old naked 75 GL1000. For me it was church. Your posts keep me going. Thanks again for your videos, from frozen Canada.

Why did I let out an uncontrollable burst of laughter when I saw that stupid three wheeled scooter?
How are they stupid? If someone has an injury or is too old to hold up and balance a bike, or just want the feel of a bike with less risk of sliding off then three wheelers are perfect. They lean, but won't fall over or low side and are quick enough to be fun so what's the problem with them?
I'm assuming you've never test ridden one because they're actually quite fun
+Lord Scrotum Gobbler sorry... 2 wheels or get in a car. I've committed to riding a motorcycle full time for the last 11 years, I don't even own a car. I'm a purist, and don't believe in mediocrity or half measures. These non-committal machines are weak sauce. They only offer the illusion of safety for the benefit of their spouses. Besides, motorcycles balance themselves once you get moving. Noobs and non riders don't seem to know that.
+TheBikerScout you've obviously never tried a three wheeler, they're fun. You not driving a car ever doesn't make you some sort of motorcycling God, and if you were a proper biker you'd be happy that three wheelers are introducing new people to riding
+Lord Scrotum Gobbler never said I was a god of anything. Just illustrating that I'm committed to two wheels. I also have a grom and a scooter. I'm not ashamed to be in either of them. Those are proper two wheeled vehicles, and they introduce people to the joy of riding just as good as anything. And in most cases all anyone really needs depending on their transportation goals. Carving trikes aren't better than two wheels. And adds unnecessary complication to the steering and suspension geometry. Occam's razor can apply to motorcycles as well. Simple is always better.
+TheBikerScout of course they're not as good as a proper bike, and they certainly dilute the experience but imagine you have a spinal injury that means you'd be unable to balance / pull a bike out a turn, but could ride a self balancing trike, suddenly the trike seems a really good idea

there's only a handful of RG500s in the U.S. and only 1 RZ350RR in the U.S. and you're watching them being treated with respect. If they were a POS gixxer then I'd have no trouble risking flopping it over for everyone's enjoyment. when you can ride with a fused spine let me know.
