@@superiortoall22 this is the thing that Android youtubers like Xeetechcare always fail to mention, and always trying to get clicks and views on gimmicks alone. The severe lack of updates and consistency kills the Android space, and the Pixel unreliability tops it off. It's a shame as Google and Samsung can easily take on Apple in the OS and hardware game if they get their act together but they don't, and because they sell millions of units solely on their inconsistencies and gimmicks, why should they bother trying? They make it too easy for Apple to win.
Apple should bring back live wallpapers in iOS 18..otherwise at least they need to add old wallpapers in collections they are really good with dark and light mode

I don’t know why Apple sucks at providing wallpapers people want. I like stock wallpapers and don’t ever use my own photos, and Apple has done all they can to gut their wallpapers. Why can’t we have access to all iPhone/iPad wallpapers that have existed? What they need is like a wallpaper store/online gallery with packs you can download. The crazies who are afraid of the pride or unity wallpapers simply don’t have to download them.

I absolutely love you iOS updates. The very best on CZcams! Having said that, although I watch your superb content, I’ve always have been reluctant to install the new iOS on my iPhone and iPad Pro. I’m inclined to wait so that the bugs are worked out. So I’m still running iOS 16.7 (20H19) on my iPhone XIII. However, giving serious thought to installing iOS 17.4.1 this weekend as it seems to have very few issues now. Thoughts?

while gaming like COD fps dropping too frequent and struck sometimes and remaining are fine and battery normal usage heating sometime due to temperature high outside 17.5 beta 1
On 17.4.1. Car play is buggy keeps losing connection? And the 3 and 4 G keeps disappearing car play is bad. Especially. On vw. Seat And crashing.

I’m been getting a this thing that pops up ( cancel undo app) which I can’t do anything until I get this thing off my screen by tapping on either cancel or undo so I tap on cancel but it pops up all the time how do I get rid of it???

17.4.1 on 11 pro max have issues with deleting text that are deleted on home screen and still in text. Even if you read the text on home screen or watch it still shows not read in actual text app.
I experience some freezing when writing messages for half a second or so. I am using 17.4.1 .
It only happens after the new update.

Can u talk about the iPhone 15 Pro heating issue, my iPhone is consistently getting extremely hot ! Where I am at I dont have an Apple Store and dunno what to do !?
It’s OK for the phone to get warm as long as it’s not so hot to the touch that you can’t hold it. It’s normal. I talked about it in the video as well.
I’m still running iOS 17.4 on my iPhone 15 Pro Max and no issues everything is fine no complaints about battery drain however I’m waiting for iOS 18
iOS 17.4.1 on my iPhone 14 Pro Max renders it useless at times. If I didn’t rely on my phone so much, I’d find it funny. As things stand, this is the worst update I’ve ever experienced on an iPhone in the nearly 13 years I’ve been using them.
It’s still sluggish AF and we still don’t have continuity in video calls over apps. It keeps turning off the camera every time an app opens. Plenty of bugs on 17.4.1 too.

Never really heard of any issues with video calls or phone problems. Maybe you should turn off and turn back on your iPhone. I will agree with you on 17.4.1, worst iOS version ever. 17.5 is a lot better.
I’m having battery issues. Using iPhone 13 Pro, battery percentage goes from 80% to 10% and phone keeps resetting. Hard reset won’t fix issue.
is anyone facing a bug on the apple watch where Shortcuts in any of the complications on any watch face is not showing the list of shortcuts? in mine, it happened once but then disappeared. now complication only opens the Shortcuts app, but does not give an option to choose a specific shortcut. dynamic island on iphone does have bugs at times, for me it's more specifically with food delivery apps. sometimes they show up, sometimes they don't as live activities. also, wi-fi connectivity is still much inferior to android devices for some reason. i have another android device in my house and I keep them together in my room. iPhone drops network faster and gets stuck in searching for the network again. While at the same place, the android device catches the wi-fi network and connects.

Found some stuttering in regular UI like swiping down from the lock screen or entering and exiting apps. A restart clearing cache did the job. Let’s hope it lasts!
I have a bug that sometimes does not turn my screen on when it is sleeping. I have to tap my screen either about 3 times or power button 3 times. Most of the time it is normal but sometimes it does this, and even notifications don't wake it

I am on iOS 17.4.1 on 14 plus and I have great battery life and the phone feels fast. I go two days between charges. I haven’t ran into any issues that I have noticed. Hopefully 17.5 is even better.
what's your screen on time ? I have a 14 pro as well running 17.4.1 and I have to charge by the time im getting off work.

I did the 17.4.1 revised, and I find playing warzone mobile is cooking my phone, plus brightness adjustment is notchy , I really wonder whether these top phones are worth the money….
Warzone mobile is cooking most phones at moment. If possible you should buy the razor phone fan. It’s great for keeping phones cool while playing

Safari's Previous page bug seems to have been fixed too. That's very cool!
(This bug was repeatable when making an image search, then clicking on an image to pop the sub-results page - the image on top with other related images under. Then clicking on the link of the top image to go to its host webpage and coming back to the previous page, cause the sub-results page to freeze. Impossible to scroll down to see or click on the other images under. The only way to get out was to close that sub-results page - with the X on the right corner - and start over.)
All them updates and the system does not change in terms of usability, user experience and such.
I am also suffering from touch screen not responding on my iphone 15 pro max which is only 7 days old 😢. But i m on stable version.
9:31 interesting… because the only keyboard bugs I have experienced are when I’m on Discord the keyboard may get its colors changed (the emoji, backspace, caps, return. Get colored in a type of blue color.. even tho the background is just black)
And the other bugs like when I’m in Roblox where in some “experiences” the keyboard stops vibrating when typing on chat. And some others when for example in Minecraft the text suggestions doesn’t work or break, in Facebook they break too.

I’ve still haven’t been able to update from Settings from 17.4.1 (stays stuck at Update requested regardless of data or WiFi). I’ve changed from developer, public beta, download only/download and install but nothing. Anybody else with this issue? (13 Pro Max)
Anyone else have issues with navigation? My navigation goes crazy, shows me driving over houses or through parks , takes sometimes up to 15 mins before it corrects itself. Been having this issue since day one of getting the iphone 15 pro max
Great video Aaron! I'm still experiencing the same one bug on the public version of ios 17.4.1. Good thing I have no interest in being a beta tester, since I'd be taking the risk of having one or more bugs and only having one device.
I’m a beta tester, it does slow your phone down a little bit, but it still works like normal.
@@JesseJones-nv3vd Your lucky. Aaron says at times that users have commented about problems they've had. Also. you need at least two devices to be a beta tester (unless you want your only one to be at risk). I only have one and only want one. Apple products go through the roof when it comes to pricing.

Volume bug in iOS 17.4.1: had navigation activated on iPhone 15 Pro Max while walking and playing a podcast on AirPods Pro 2. Volume changed randomly when changing volume on directions in Apple Maps app. Almost blew up my ears when volume finally synchronized system-wide.

1. On your mac open your terminal.
2. Connect using USB
3. Terminal will print some random info.

WiFi range is still bad and I have to get very close to the router to connect while android devices shows about 15 WiFi at the same time and iPhone barely shows one and I have to turn off the toggle and on again to fix that and it’s still bad

Safari has always been fast for me on iOS. Desktop is not always the same though.
I never heard of Safari being slow at all and I've been with Apple since 2021.

I do on 13 Pro. It’s definitely a software issue. Autofocus simply does not work at distances under 1 meter.
IPhone Xr here, my phone had been having allot of lag on 17.5 beta 1, seemed like ram issues. I happen to delete some old games off my phone, and immediately my phone ran smoother and hasn't dropped in performance since then.
how can possibly deleting games and having free ram?
just quit them from multitasking and you should have no effect at all
@@robertcamcakezi it really doesn’t make sense to me aswell. But there’s Notable difference with it being on my phone and not. I think the particular game (clash royale) doesn’t effectively clear from ram when inactive
@@Rocketdave47 remove notifications for those games and remove them from siri suggestions also from background app refresh instead of completely deleting them

4:03 honestly, safari feels much more snappier and more powerful than chrome, edge and opera (as of my experience). Same is said by benchmarks like speedometer 2.1/3 and basemark.

@@zollotech it was fine on 16.6.1, the biggest regret was choosing to upgrade to ios 17 cuz my cousins says its fine nothing changed on temperature and battery life.

@@ripkii1_704 My phones barely get warm. It really depends what you do, but at the same time it is ok if they get hot as long as its not so hot you cant touch the phone. Processors get hot when doing intense tasks and batteries get hot when charging as it’s normal. Apple has always let their devices run hot.
Here’s a cool little bug to play around with:
Keep the charger cord in hand, turn ringer to vibration, connect the charger, press volume button up/down immediately after connecting the cable, your vibration motor will go crazy 😂
For me in 17.4.1, when using spotlight search, the most recent podcasts will show up like they are in 17.5
The Private Relay thing mentioned about the Safari Assistant gave me an idea than Apple could allow Siri to be used in the cloud with Private Relay and it could hide who the info is from so they still have the privacy and security thing
Also my Google keeps making me do Captcha with Private Relay on which is very annoying so I just switched to a different search engine in the end
I still haven’t update from 16. Sometimes I want to but so many bugs so I’ve just left it alone. Not sure 17 significant enough from 16 to upgrade honestly.
I don’t know what you guys complain about. 17.4.1 revised amazing, no issues at all. Battery life is incredible, no WiFi issues. Using 13 pro max.
15 Pro here, something is a bit off with the battery life between 80 and 40% on 17.4.1. Usually I end up with 3.5 hours screen on time and 50% remaining but with 17.4.1 I end up around 40-45%, yet it acts as I normally expect from 40% below. I also get some notifications not appearing when they should for example from the Barclays banking app.

For me it was really really bad. It forced me to update to the beta. Phone was constantly getting too warm. Temperature signs when charging. Apple are slacking

I don’t care about performance at this point. This phone has way more computing capability than I’m using. I need efficiency. Battery life is still pretty rough. I wish Low Power Mode had more options, like “stay within efficiency cores only”. even at the expense of performance
Low power mode is really only designed to be used to get you to a charger when your battery is really low. It disables tons of features and slows the processor down so it’s not really meant to be used regularly.
@@zollotechFrom my experience (keep in mind this was over half a decade ago) Samsung’s low-power mode is much worse. They disabled almost every app on my device whenever I would use low-power mode. It might have changed by now. I haven't heard of low-power mode disabling the apps on my iPhone 14 or the XR I had before. As for battery life, my iPhone usually can last a full day, which is enough for me.

@@zollotech the sound of notification is bloked by apple at 50%..i barerly hear my notifications..if im out outside i dont hear em at all...i tryed everything and then i found the post that says apple intentionally made the sound of notifications to be 50% less than normal ring tone sound at 100%

@@brandonsmith6962 i tryed that and tryed many more...if u want a detailed post search on google and u will see ppl complaining about the same issue.....the notification sound is system blocked at 50% while the normal ringtone is at 100%.....u just cant lvl up more the notification sound further even u see it at 100% its hidden patched at 50%
The notification bug is still a problem. The notifications come in with squared edges, and then round out later. Does anyone else see this happening?
I’m using the 15 pro max and have been using at 80% limit at 99% battery health with around 93 cycles. I was thinking about switching to optimised charging and plugging it in at night, but I’m worried that this will harm the battery because it takes the phone around week or more to learn charging habits. Because the phone will just sit at 100% for hours for days until it learns my habits. Will this harm my battery?
No it won’t. Your phone and charger are smart enough to stop charging when it reaches 100% (or any other variable including heat, etc).
You can more than safely plug it in all night and once it learns your charging habits, enjoy the feature!

It’s already available. The problem is no one has made any apps that allow you to do it or App Store yet
17.4.1 has been such a let down on Iphone 12 Pro. Think I'm ready for 17.5 public release.

hello aaron, something important here. can you go to safari, search for a photo, and long press on it? it shows a new option to "look up" a photo and has a star sign with the "i" button... found this last week on my phone. not sure if this is an old feature or some new ai stuff. thanks, loving your video.
