I don’t think it’s drama at all. Her and Envy are super close. That’s just how they joke around. It solidifies her place in the entertainment radio space like Angelia Martinez. Sad she’s leaving, but happy for her.

I think so too. She felt betrayed, like they didn't have her back. Can't say I blame her for feeling that way. Plus this is an opportunity for her to grow.

Gotta disagree here with Al. Breakfast club has absolutely not run it’s course yet. They are still relevant to the culture in a huge way. I get that Angela is evolving and wish her the best. One thing I can say about Angela is she is a great interviewer and she does her research. When DJ Envy and Charlemagne be asking guests dumb questions she know how to steer the conversation back on track. I agree with Claudia in this male dominated industry women don’t get a lot of respect. Angela going to be great with or without the breakfast club. She has the work ethic, drive and the dedication to be successful on her own. Congratulations to Yee on her new journey 👏🏽

Angela Yee is going to do well with her own show. Her podcast is going well. She does well with 1:1 interviews. Remember, she is the one who interviewed August Alsina when he spilled his guts about that "entanglement."

Their chemistry also been questionable... But, Angela also wasn't receiving the salary she deserved, so now that she has obtain this opportunity, I'm sure she'll do WELL.
She had some good moments during interviews. I hope she does well in her next venture. But I don’t think I’ll miss her that much on The Breakfast Club, to me her impact was small. Will be interested to see how she handles herself on her own.

It’s off best just like the breakfast show. It’s a great show. I think they will do even better without her. I’m excited to see who they will replace her with. I agree. Somebody commented saying she barely spoke. But they often interrupted her even during the rumor report. She would often say something and seconds later ctg would ask a question about something she literally just said.

On Instagram they were just playing. They were joking a lot yesterday morning before they actually announced what was happening with the show. A lot of people thought the show was ending and they were going along with that before announcing that only Yee was leaving. As far as if there was more behind her leaving, I do think things changed when Charlamagne didn't defend her in public but also think it was just time for her to do her own thing again.

I don't think it's anything other than a deserved come up for her. Angela and Envy go back and forth. The Breakfast Club is on top. They joked all through the announcement. She is actually getting two opportunities. Good for her and good on Charlemagne and Envy for supporting her. Disagree with Al's comments about the Breakfast Club as it is still a marquee show. Wendy was entertaining but I don't see her as being irreplaceable as much as a unique talent. All three have real estate investors so regardless they are all fine.

Don’t know if it’s a good move or not but it’s about that time, 13 years gives you a nice resume entry, experience, an audience and following, money to invest in other ventures, and early 40s is about the age people normally apply for “director of the department” or private practice or district manager or foreman in a variety of industries …. Taking these risks are necessary for our growth both personally and professionally … good luck Yee
Agree in terms of career roles however hollyweird doesn't work that way....executives gave them the opportunity based on all 3 especially Envy and Charlemagne having a fan base....most times these ppl by themselves are not impactful enough to bring forth strong ratings as its just more buzz worthy for her as she's been in and around the industry both positive and negative which creates buzz but buzz fades
