Very impressed with Vice news for undertaking the expenses to cover real news & to pack facts into its coverage to make it efficient & effective.

Poor man`s gym Yes breeding in those conditions has always confused me. Not sure the cars are doing them any good. Despite all that oil they have almost no gasoline. When poor countries have oil there’s always a struggle to keep them from using it to provide cheap energy for their own ppl & sell the rest to pay the costs of their own government. I will never understand how anyone can decide to have children while living in those conditions.

I am from Bangladesh. I still remember the time when my father was posted in South Sudan, Libya, Egypt and other african countires for UN peacekeeping missions. The day my father left for Sudan from Bangladesh, I cried alot and the entire day at school I was depressed and worried for the safety of my father and the thought that i would never see him again. I was 7 years old during that time and didn't know much about the world. Recently after turning 19 this year, i am seeing these documentaries and I am more than proud of my father. I am not the best son in the world but he sure is the best father in the world.
P.S. my father is well and alive, he is now a Colonel of the Bangladesh army. I still have some of his pictures from his tour in africa in my old laptop.

Thats the problem of being a young African country. Tribal clashes is very much existing in the beginning and people align themselves more in their tribes for trust and security because you speak the same language. Thereafter an individual from their tribe begin to steal the country's resources and this brings an outcry nation wide but there tribesmen back their corrupt fellow because they don't want to see him persecuted even though they know he or she is at fault.
This thing will take generations to heal or an extremely good leadership at helm like Tanzania with their founding father Julius Nyerere..
