Just a wee mistake, but in the section in the Scottish referendum you said they showed bias towards the yes campaign as they wanted to remain in the union when it was actually the no campaign that wanted to remain part of the union and the yes campaign was in support of independence
You didn't mention the BBC's (and all major outlets') failure to engage with the Forde Report. It holds BBC Panorama's feet to the fire regarding 'reporting' on Labour antisemitism..
What do you mean it was corrupt I think you mean IT IS corrupt
I don't want or need the BBC, it's a propaganda channel nothing more! It hasn't produced good programming since 1989! F the Beeb, I resent being forced to pay for it and I hate all the shows on it! I don't care for dancing, antiques, house renovations, baking or police dramas! End the Jimmy Savile appreciation society!
Like everything else
One of the ways they corrupt you is having to pay £150 a year for a tv licence.
Because it said "10 times", if they were to say "10 times the bbc are corrupt" they would sound like they failed primary school
fair enough
At university, the BBC came in to do a talk for us. This was during Johnson's popularity rise.
The talk was so clearly interwoven with propaganda that about 15 minutes in, the room emptied out and the guy that came in was forced to stop the talk as there was no longer an audience there to listen...
so they tried to make Boris out to be a good guy?
wow!
@@mattalan6618 No, it wasn't as obvious as that, it was more about the TV licensing agreement.
They we're blaming our generation (Gen-Z) for the fact that the BBC is in a rough spot financially because "Young people don't watch television anymore".
When one student pointed out the cuts enforced by the Tories and as the reason for the BBC having a hard time, they defended the cuts.
It was at that point that they lost the room.
@@dylancarr8415 maybe they dont realize that todays youth has access to other means of watching TV from Prime to Hulu Disnes Plus and Netflix
@@mattalan6618 They do know this but they'd rather blame us for watching shows elsewhere than blame the government for cutting their funds
Would be harder to find 10 times the BBC wasn't corrupt.
It is horribly right wing.
@@beanmcqueen 😂😂😂😂😂😂
The BBC is so left wing
@@stephenweir9871 you're right. Andrew Neil is probably a communist.
@@stephenweir9871 after all that's come out ? The BBC are in bed with thr tory party you mug
@@stephenweir9871 Yeah Right! Kuenssberg, Bruce and co, real Trotskyites. The Tories will shout and shout about any criticism and publish books about left-wing bias at the BBC, but not a word when the BBC actually supports them! Or perhaps it is only bias when its against your side? What about the fact that the majority of newspapers are right wing and three are extremely right wing? The BBC should be impartial, but they also have a duty to tell the truth if the rest of the media are biased.
You're gonna need a longer list WatchMojo. Not even a top 1000 can cover it.
Was hard to narrow it down, that's for sure
Jesus! Are they really that corrupt?
@@kyliethelittlespider-mangirl94 yes. Yes they are.
This could probably be an annual video from you guys
"Annual" don't you mean weekly lol
@@martinlatham4322 Would "monthly" suffice? I feel that in recent times the BBC have been in the news for negative reasons more often than not.
@@thefightinggameplayer I mean, they are pretty bad. I'd say it could be a daily one. ☺️😂
To anyone who suggests the BBC isn't corrupt, I'd like to say "'ow's about that, then, guys and girls?"
And do you know what it is yet? Or do you want to be in my gang?
Nice one 👍😂😂😂
@@soupdragonuk I was disappointed when I heard about Rolf Harris. He was like everyone's fun uncle. (but, not that kind of fun).
@@FatNorthernBigot Yes, that stunned me too. I used to really enjoy his art shows and Animal Hospital. Then you find out the real him, and the darkness...shiver. It was sickening.
@@soupdragonuk However, it was almost a relief when Jimmy Saville was outed. He looked and acted like a wrong un.
This needs to be a top 1000 video
How do you explain to people that they've been lied to and gaslit their whole life? (which influences policy) This is a great start thank you! 🙏🏽
Only 10 times? I can think of thousands!
Well write some of it down.
You could do a complete series of it.
I feel like its "upper classes" segment that is actually the biggest problem and allowing these things to happen, or the ones that are trying to to get away with it.
The 'Yes' Campaign was the PRO independence one in the 2014 Scottish independence referendum. You have it the wrong way round. The BBC was biased in favour of the 'No' campaign.
Pretty good but you missed Brexit. The almost complete failure to report on anti-brexit demonstrations and the heavy bias of Question Time audience selection etc.
Yep, just as this film says impartiality doesn't mean giving equal weight to fringe science, so it doesn't mean failing to challenge minority opinions or downright lies - remember all that money coming to the NHS?
Saw an interview with Simon Jordan recently where he said every bbc debate on it had two remainers to one leaver. I think both sides think the bbc were biased, and the bbc were never going to win on that one.
@@paultapner2769 leave side know it’s biased in their favour and cry foul when it’s impartial
People who think the BBC were in favour of brexit are fully delusional it had been proven beyond doubt they had a pro eu bias. Andrew Marr even got fired for it. So to claim it was pro brexit your either delusional or lying.
@@chalkus wtf are you on about that comment made no sense…
I got rid of my TV license years ago, do I regret it? Fuck no
A better list would be "10 Times the BBC WASN'T corrupt" although you may struggle to find 10
Even 1?
Wow thank you for mentioning the BBC's treatment of the Scottish referendum. As a Scot this was the very thing I thought about (Lineker aside) when I saw the title of your video but I presumed, as usual that it wouldn't get a mention.
The anti-British Broadcasting Corporation is suddenly staunchly unionist when several million Scottish licences are waved under their nose.
I opted out of the TV licence 3 years ago. Because there's nothing on TV worth watching.
Something tells me that WatchMojoUK need to make a series on this. As an Aussie reading the comments, something tells me that this is simply a tip of the very tip of an iceberg.
The idea of paying for a license to use something I already own to watch a channel i've little interest in is ridiculous.
Next you have to do sky news as the way that reporter who was offended what mick lynch said to her and we know its the truth
I thought that we had bad when it comes to corruption (I'm an American).
Lol USA media is far worse. Actually I blame the spread of oligarchy and political obfuscation on the fact its so successful in USA.
What kind of American? Southern, Central, Northern?
Look into how the BBC protected Jimmy Savile for decades or how the BBC panorama news programme made false allegations of antisemitism to Labour party activist Rika Bird (who IS Jewish)

I stopped paying for my TV licence 3 years ago. £480 better off so far and never looked back.
You must have only been able to fit 10 into a video instead of the probably 20 plus. Still really the channel. Very fun to watch.
My smart TV isn't even connected to the internet. It's used as a display panel for my PC. I don't watch any live TV. Anything worth watching can be downloaded from torrent sites, ad free and available to watch at my leisure.
I don't need a TV license and I will never get one.
The BBC is a commercial company. If you think that they are funded only by license fees, think again.
Product placement, BBC worldwide... And... Full ownership and control of the multi channel broadcaster UKTV.
"Flextech wanted these channels to carry advertisements, but the BBC argued that BBC-branded services in the UK should not, as doing so would undermine the rationale of TV licensing." - Wikipedia
Spoiler alert... They do carry advertising... And the BBC now own it all.
IMHO finding ten times the BBC was not biased would perhaps be easier!
I don't buy a license, I don't watch the BBC.
Is this going to be a multi-part series?
I won’t forgive them for the way they badly treated Christopher Eccleston.
9:09 I’m curious as to why johnson needed nearly a million quid. For what?

To be fair the win for staying in the UK wasn't that narrow ( around 10%)
5%
The referendum question was, "Should Scotland be an independent country?", which voters answered with "Yes" or "No".[2] The "No" side won with 2,001,926 (55.3%) voting against independence and 1,617,989 (44.7%) voting in favour. The turnout of 84.6%
The license fee is going up 13% next year. Worth it ?
You mean pounds, not percent, another 3.5p a day
And they are going to raise the TV license next year ...unbelievable
But only for people who have one
*Jimmy Savile died in 2011, not 2012. The scandal did break in 2012 though.
Many have forgotten the shocking incident on Noel Edmond's Late Late Breakfast Show from 1987
The biggest problem the BBC has now is most young people today get their media content via mobile devices rather than television.
Whether it's through social media or commercial news channels that 24/7 live stream on CZcams or streaming services for films like Netflix and Amazon.
This is the new way that people (mostly the younger generation) consume their content, so we're getting to a point where the TV license funding for the BBC is starting to out live its usefulness.
I agree. But anyone who suggests that gets accused of making a political attack. Which it isn't.
such a fitting video from you guys
Only ten? I can think of hundreds.
Well, I haven't paid the licence for a year now in protest of this.
Only one government did more damage than this one. Thatchers!
BBC is not what it used to be
Just 10 times??
Just ten ? The Jimmy saville lovers will cover up anything to make money....
You could make multiple top 10 vids on how they're corrupt starting with TV licence which I've never paid for
🤦🏻♂️
So you never watch any BBC programming or listen to any BBC Radio?
@@charleshayes2528 even if I did I still wouldn't pay fuck em racist bastards. What can they do?
So why are you taking the opportunity to criticize old media so harshly when you are a company, or so called new media. It doesn't take a genius to figure this out, I think you're just taking advantage of the algorithm and happenings with that football guy right now to sway public opinion in your favor, in a somewhat corrupt way yourselves. Sit down!
A friend passed recently and an elegy was read quoting Acts, "and saw corruption l". Sums it up
They also make poor decisions on their channels, including the idea of sacking BBC Four and CBBC, moving Three online only to regret that soon after and now, they are planning to reverse that again but this time, bring One and Two down as well.
I can't believe that Naga Munchetty was even complained about. She was answering a question from Dan Walker about her experience of racism. Im not a fan of Naga but she was right and people didn't like it.
That’s funny about them being impartial
Only ten?!? 😂
The BAE BAE CAE

i dont watch live TV so i dont have to pay, however i would watch other channels if i didnt have to pay the BBC tax.
With reguard to the bbc being corrupt i thank you for keeping the list short.

They certainly do undestand how we live and don't give a shit...!!!
Ahhhhhh inflation ‘only’ at 5%. What a time to be alive!!!!
Its why I dont pay my licence
What about not covering the March in London Protests on Friday????
This is so weird and so unAmerican that a channel dedicated to entertainment like celebrities, tv shows and movies has made a video about the BBC and the British news, politics, economy and social issues. Apparently, news and current affairs are now entertainment?!
You got your Yes and No campaigns mixed up mate, YES was for indy and NO was against.
Love how the Commentator says 'Tell us in the comments if you pay your TV License' Good luck....
To quote Grogu... "yuup."
They missed a couple of naughts
I have a feeling this may have been influenced by recent going ons with a big eared crisp seller and his suspension. First time in his career he was sent off as well. The BBC isn't impartial and hasn't been since 2017
You could probably find another 8 just this week
I’m amazed their still around, with all the corruptions
I can only comment on my friends behalf here, but remember when the BBC and other news outlets were on about HGV driver shortages? my friend was the first to get on a training course, after he passed his class 2 he found there was no work around, subbing out work and the class 1 HGV drivers he spoke to also find work to be scares with lower pay than before, now with all these new qualified drivers, companies can easily lower hourly rates, tell newer drivers that they need more experience on the road for insurance means and reduce everyone's pay because of it. I'm going to stop watching the BBC and cancel my TV license because they read statements from the rich and wealthy and influence everyone to benefit them
Only 10 you can come up with more than that
Ohhhh? And we have to pay for the privilege of this nonsense?
Its always it is including the weather

Tory Laura is a classic example.
What about the Gary Lineker fiasco ???
What about it ffs
@@iandawe948 why didn't they include it in their piece?
Is that all or is it just the tame ones you have put in
This was a weird self contradictory list.
BBC should not "parrot" anonymous govt. sources?
How then would the public later know that these claims were made by public officials, but were untrue?
Of course the journalist isn't "beyond reproach". If it's shown that he/she lied about the existence of anonymous sources, the journalist would loose both integrity, job and career. Journalists do reveal anonymous sources to their editor(s) if needed, who then contact and confirm the sources.
BBC should reflect the majority-meaning on different matters? So, not just the facts then? Or only unbiased reporting?
The vast majority of journalists work in local publications or channels... it's news to me that they are upper class.
In more or less every country in the world, the major news-outlets are focused on the capital. That is ordinarily the political and financial centre of a nation, where the most important decisions with regards to the entire country is made. Daily. The people living in smaller cities and towns often get more local news than people living in and around the capital, as their news media focus more on local matters than the smaller outlets around the capital.
According to the narrator, BBC should be unbiased. Just not in scientific questions. Well actually, on *some* scientific matters both sides should be heard, but apparently not in all cases after all (has anyone seen an increase of flat-earthers presenting their views on BBC lately?) - but the BBC should no matter what always be unbiased in questioning political affairs, like the Scottish referendum for instance, not the Tory Islamofobia though...
Look through newspapers during every single political administration, and you will find that the press will always be questioning, and at times in conflict with, the ruling party. That being Thatcher or any other politician who wants to make changes that will interfere with the lives of many. If not, the press would hear they weren't critical enough, and rightfully so.
She was, by the way, neither the first or last Prime minister called out for being a war monger. Just ask Tony.
No, most journalists don't know the intricacy of financial services or politics. Just like most of them don't have a background as a pro footballer. The presenter shown on the screen reading the financial news, probably is a journalist. But there and then he is acting as a news anchor reading for instance official press releases and the work of other staff members. He is not there as a specialist whatsoever. That is also why larger news outlets hire experts in different fields, on for instance medical, financial, historical, military, extra terrestrial, scientific, etc. etc. matters. Which also is criticised.
I don't know enough about the Jimmy Saville story yet, but if half of what I've been told so far is true, it will always be a stain on BBC's reputation. Deservedly so.
I can't help but feel that the people making this video are corrupt.
only 10? you could make 100 parts to this video then
Almost Mojo.

The BBC is an anachronism and has long passed its sell by date. I haven't watched the BBC for years
Now do the same with other broadcasters.

Whoever creates the debt must provide the remedy. Maxim in law. If the BBC hasn't sent a bill to you there is no debt. If they have sent an invoice then accept it for value and return it for settlement.

TV licence to pay for their cover ups
Corrupt at times? *At times?*
If the bbc wasn't unbiased there would have never been a need for Tommy Robinson. Not telling the truth because of political facism(correctness) is madness.
What happened to Gary linekers 1930s Germany tweet
Many of these points are opinions, not factual, and the worst thing you're illustrating in most of them is bias. Bias is just bias - to be corruption, there needs to be personal or financial gain earned because of that bias.
Anyone still paying the BBC licence tax are part of the problem.
Interesting. That's the issue with having state TV. They were never going to get away with criticising Prime Ministers without severe consequences for the organisation. So they went the other way.
But as for the Conservative "Islamophobia". I'd imagine many Muslims actually share similar conservative views regarding maintaining the traditional family unit. It isn't that simple. Firstly, there are people who dislike most Muslims because of the colour of their skin - that is racism and should always be rooted out. But if there is such a thing as Islamophobia, it would mean that a person has an irrational fear of Islam, which would not be their fault anymore than having an irrational fear of spiders is the person with arachnaphobia's fault. I don't know anyone who has an irrational fear of Islam. But I have seen racism of course. The "phobia" part is a red herring designed to deflect from the real issues, just like with trans people.
As for anti-semitism within the Labour party - they aren't stupid. They know that there aren't that many Jewish people in the UK compared to Muslims, so which vote do you go after? The Muslim vote of course, despite Labour being responsible for the barbaric bombing of two predominantly Muslim countries. And for what? How is Iraq doing today? How about Afghanistan being under Taliban control again? So many lives lost and for nothing.
But to revert back to point, the BBC needs to compete on a level playing field with other channels. Either they charge a monthly subscription fee or allow advertising. No longer should people HAVE to fund them or possibly face prison, whether they watch the BBC or not. It's an absurd state of affairs which cannot continue as it gives the BBC a HUGE competitive advantage. FWIW I do pay my TV licence as their output is still decent but I do tire of Gary Lineker's wokeness and virtue-signalling when he was only a footballer, not a political science graduate. He needs to stay in his lane. You don't see me talking about astrophysics as I know nothing about the subject.
Gary might want to stick to football, rather than horribly comparing Rishi Sunak to Hitler. The UK has its problems but everytime a country is compared to 1930s Nazi Germany, it only cheapens what Hitler did. Whether you like Sunak or not, he is nowhere close to being Hitler (Hitler would have killed him!). THAT is why Lineker should refrain from political comment as he lacks the historical knowledge to draw even the most basic comparison.
Gary didn’t compare Sunak to Hitler. If you had bothered to find out what he actually said, which was the language and tone used by the government isn’t unlike what it was in 1930’s Germany, you would know this.
