    Shows like the Jeremy Kyle, bad lads army, beyond scared straight, SAS who dares wins, worlds strictest parents, that will teach em, and to some extent I’m a celebrity are all concentration facility’s for both adults and children. justice should be dealt properly in courts, marriage counciling or real army training and secure units. This is a form of public humiliation

      I completely agree with beyond scared straight some of those kids turned their lives around d because of it and as for the other shows adults have the choice they make the choice and to not know what the possible consequences of appearing on those shows, shows their ignorance.

      @@whoops.28 yeah :) although countries like Japan don’t have the same sort of filth on tv that we have in the west. I’ve seen some of the programs my mum and dad use to watch in the 60s 70s 80s and 90s here on YT I even remember stars in there eyes when it was on its last run in the early 2000s. But cold w@r era tv seemed to be much more wholesome and entertaining and had better shows for teenage youth such as top of the pops and college game shows. controversial tv from the 90s was much more entertaining like beavis and butthead etc. honestly I’d hate to be a washed up celebrity in the west 😨 you end up going down a road of shame and adult literature. and as for people on benefits or from troubled backgrounds the UK and the US seems to have this mentality of laying the baton down on people who are the slightest bit strange untalented or don’t live up to high standards

  • @jasonsnipveron8188

    Also shows like X factor, love island, geordie shore, towie, made in Chelsea, Britain’s got talent etc are all circus shows meant to make you laugh at people from different parts of society. yes I used the term circus shows because I can’t use the term I want to on YT

    The so called scandal surrounding Phillip Scholfield was fuelled by homophobia. Firstly let’s clear something up Scholfield didn’t do anything illegal. He didn’t start having intimate relations with the show runner until the show runner was 20 years old!
    Many heterosexual presenters both female and male have has intimate relationships with staff younger than 20 and all that happened was winks and nudges and behind the scenes gossip. Bruce Forsyth met his future wife when he was 53 and she was 23! They met at a beauty contest he was judging,a job he got because he worked for the BBC. Tell me what’s the difference?‼️🤬

    • @imsoboredhahaha
      @imsoboredhahaha Před rokem +5

      I think my issue with Schofield’s affair was that it was with a lower down employee and a higher up, very influential employee. That power balance is unethical. It’s unethical because the lower down employee would feel as if they wouldn’t be able to end the relationship without their job potentially being on the line and them risking money that if you’re a working class runner working in central London, you need that income so you’re not homeless. Also, the lower down employee would be more likely to face harsher, more impactful consequences than their higher up partner.
      If you look at the Try Guys’ scandal in 2022, Ned Fulner was fired from the brand as a Try Guy because he had an affair with a younger colleague who was of a lower down position. This embarrassed the brand and thus, they chose to fire him.

    • @CashelOConnolly

      @@11geosno I agree with you about age gap relationships.
      My great uncle was 20 when he met his partner who was 60. Within 10 years my uncle had become his carer. My uncle had no life,he aged visibly himself and got deeply depressed. His 60 year old partner though chronically disabled and sick because of his advanced years lived to 90.
      My uncle loved him and refused to walk away. When his 90 year old partner finally died my uncle was 50 ,he’d lost his youth and mental health. He now feels alone and out of touch with society 😔💚
      P.S yes I’m gay,my brother is bisexual,my uncle is gay and my niece is a lesbian 😳🏳️‍🌈🇮🇪

    • @kimjohnson642
      @kimjohnson642 Před rokem +1

      I disagree that this scandal is fuelled by homophobia, I think that it has been turned into this as a way of Mr Scholfield to excuse the extent it has gone too and the magnitude of the consequences it has created that could have been totally avoided.
      Also not helped that he came out as he felt it was time and stated it was not because of any other factors or people, its now been alleged that he came out as damage control after a works event which this runner was at and a incident occurred
      The fact is Phillip majorly abused his power and position is bad enough but its the fact that as he admitts he lied and when people lie it opens up a whole can of worms and the trust is gone.
      His brand is his whole persona is dependable, wholesome, honest,trustworthy and relatable. The moment he choose to lie he ruined his brand and has left himself open to be scrutinised and frowned upon but he made that choice
      I hope that all party's heal and find their way
