If our car broke down I wouldn't take it to a good friend cause they're sweet but they know nothing about cars. I think Osric is adorable and sweet but I just like watching him act. There's alot they have to go through to bring somebody back. Plus time travel is very fickle...you may try to do one thing and something else happens that completely changes the future/present. One life isn't worth the consequences.

If Castiel and most of the angels can't even teleport anymore because of the fall, then they definitely can't time travel. I also think that smiting in itself is some type of special death that you can't be revived from.

The mark has control over his rage, and after what all Gadreel had done, Dean felt a lot of rage towards him, but controlled it earlier. Now after killing Abaddon, the Mark has become even stronger than before, which simply made the earlier rage uncontrollable. Also, TBH Gadreel deserved at least this much. Even though he did redeem himself later on, fact remains he did kill Kevin and steal the tablets due to which Metatron got so much stronger in the first place.
lmao I'm sorry I know Dean is supposed to be scary here but that face!! XD and I always thought the blade looked about as shape as a butter knife!! I feel so bad for Jensen he did a great job with the shitty storyline Carver gave him. But the Mark of lame as to be hands down the worst storyline on the show and we got it for a whole season (s10) and a half.(s9) -__- Demon!Dean was good and you can tell Jensen had a ball playing him but Carver cut that after just 3 episodes because of the musical ep... S10 was god awful, thankfully S11 is so much better. So long Carver you won't be missed.
I actually really liked the MOC storyline because it was something different. It wasn't an ancient being they were fighting it was themselves. Jensens acting was fantastic with the MOC(Although Jensen is always amazing). I liked seeing the darker side of Dean and him trying to fight it. Seeing him trying and sometimes failing to fight his darkness was heartbreaking. Plus seeing everyone band together to help Dean fight was awesome. (RIP Charlie we'll forever miss you).
The Mark of Cain storyline has been my favorite in all of SPN. In all the early seasons it was always "what's wrong with Sam?" (psychic visions, demon blood, trials ect.) and Dean has always been the rock so to speak, and it was a wonderful twist to have Dean be the one struggling with something he can't control and Sam having to save him. Plus, Dean was a badass with the MoC. I only wish Demon Dean had lasted longer.
It's sad that all the angels who realize what their true mission was always end up dead.
