I'm an old guy, so everything seems way overpriced to me. If they have done a top notch job, it's worth it.
That's so awesome that the engine is finally back! Can't wait to see the installation back into the GT350! Believe me we all share your excitement!
YES,, X2 what Andrew said!
Finally the Shelby getting worked on. I love the gt350. Then again I’m a Ford fan
Sounds like you made great choices on the engine upgrades for the Shelby. Looking forward to see the install and first startup. Happy New Year, Doris.
You’ve been holding out on us! Can’t wait to see what this beast makes for power! I’m going to be watching closely!
Hello Doris 😍😍😍
Can’t wait to see the GT350 back in action.
Happy new year 🎊
Dying for sound clips, dyno runs and track runs. Congrats!!
Sounds like you made all the right choices with the engine build Doris. Can’t wait to hear it run at the track. Happy New Year and Good Luck!
You going to start the new year with nice project!! 🙌🏼
I have a 2016 v6 mustang, thanks for letting me live vicariously through you Doris 😁
Great project. I am here because of this car. Go FORD!
Love the up grades and I'm glad your keeping it normally aspired. I bought my GT350 soon after I saw yours . I've been anticipating this video . I've been really impressed with your decisions. Power On Girl
Doris I’m glad that you finally got your Gt350 engine back from rebuild! I can’t wait to see how the install goes! You have a great new year and I can’t wait to see and hear your Gt350 tearing up the streets again!🐟
That motor is gorgeous, love the build quality, and upgraded parts. The Gt350 is one of my favorite mustang platform's. Great content as allways.
Take care & God bless, Brandon 🎼
Super stoked. It's been a long time coming. Can't wait to hear this Voodoo rev to 9K.
You made the right choice in the work you had done i look forward to finally watching the reassemble . Good luck and see you in 2021
Perfect timing just in time for NEW YEARS, hope you have a great one also! Here’s to new beginnings 👊🏽
Sounds like you did everything the right way, congrats and can't wait for hearing the beast!
Happy New Year Doris, Nice work with the GT350, i hope it will be a new experience on the track.
Hi Doris, That engine looks great should have plenty of power. Things do get expensive but at end of day you'll know what you got. You work hard for your money so do whatever you want that makes you happy. Great job sticking with it. I'm looking forward to seeing it finally finished.
Awesome can't wait to see you putting it back together and getting it on the track. Have a happy new year and be safe.
I think you made a great selection of component upgrades. I can't wait to hear the beast roar back to life!
I'm a chevy guy but, THAT'S GONNA BE A BAD @$$ FORD !!!! I as well, can't wait to hear it.
Amazing car! Nice call on everything you had done to the engine, and keeping it N/A. Can't wait to hear it at 9,000rpm.
Thanks for not beating around the bush for 15 mins.. straight to the info I love it
Hello Doris glad you got your engine back glad you also kept the original block and heads at the end of the day you still have a numbers matching car with a balanced and blue printed engine excited to here it run and see what it does at the track and of course Happy New Year
Oh I forget to tell you I bought a quick jack because of you and love it . I have 6 cars so it has really made things easier . Thanks
Excellent , even with my low budget i understand do it right the first time / Fixing an old chevy so trying to get things in proper order changed oil & filter top off antifreeze and gas replacing fuel filter tomorrow. Best Wishes in 2021 !
The engine is here! The engine is here! This is one step closer to Doris to going blap, blap, see ya... Wahoo.. Happy New Year all and cheers Doris for keeping us all entertained throughout the crap 2020..
Love everything you decided to do. Look forward to seeing more Shelby videos!
Great engine! Happy New Year of 2021, Doris!
I wish I would have done L&M cams for mine but I was already house note deep in my build! Looking good!
I did the Predator Sleeved Short Block with mine. RGR built mine! Very happy with it and HPJ assembled it. Built for 1600hp!
You should swap to a T56 Magnum like I did
Can't wait to see it going again going to be awesome I think you made the right choice to keep it as is it has more than enough hp for a very fun driver love and happy new year
Can't wait to see the install,1st start up and test drive videos.
Awesome detailed update.
Glad that the engine is back.
Super important would be to pre-lube the engine before turning it over. Do not let anyone tell you to just turn it over until oil pressure builds up! For a $19k engine it shouldn’t be a big deal to get a pre-lube canister for a couple hundred bucks should be a no brainer. This way you’ll have instant oil pressure when you start it the first time.
Also just FYI: maximum rpm of an engine is strictly limited by piston speed. The magic number is 25 m/s. Even Formula 1 doesn’t go over that. The lesser the stroke, the faster an engine can rev if the components allow it strength wise. The cam doesn’t really enable the engine to rev higher, it just determines in which rpm range the engine will perform best.
Good decision to go that route with the engine and also to leave it NA. Boosting is such a short cut way to make more power and it comes with compromises!
Glad to see the GT350 coming back together. You make very good analytic videos...very interesting. Hope you put it on the dyno later. Thx. 👍👍
Nice! I'm getting a bit dizzy from watching you point out the valves, but your excitement shouldn't be contained 👍😊
Looking good. Can't wait to see it installed.
Women Driven ; ) HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! No one could actually say that, you deserve better. Because the best thing that you deserve, will always be your choice. TAKE CARE.
What a great engine! Very happy for you, Doris! 👍
Best luck with the new engine, Doris you made it out of 2020 hope 2021 has a lot of joy be good to your self
Thank you! Let's hope the best for all of us in 2021
You made a wise decision to keep your motor Doris. Keep your numbers matching and built stronger. Going to be one hell of a strong GT350 when you done. All the best for the coming new year🥳🥂
Thank you, I appreciate that. Thanks for watching and Happy New Year. Cheers!
Really glad ya got yer engine, it's gotta be a big relief. I'm still bothered Ford didn't stand behind it (personal experiences included --- but with F250 SuperDuty). Excited to see it back up and running!
Balanced and blueprinted. Haven't heard those terms in ages. Sounds like more good stuff, on top of everything else. Can't wait to see it tracked.
Que bueno!!! Doris finally you are going to take care of the Gt350,,, good luck on that project...nice upgrades you did..feliz navidad y new year... be safe..
You are definitely doing it right. Beautiful engine and Car. Carol Shelby will for ever be remembered as one of Auto mobiles best Car designers of all time. His vision to bend the metal to give the Ford Mustang a very sleek look. And it cut through the air good with less drag. Carol would be very proud of you young lady. Awesome job. I hope everything goes flawlessly and that Mustang stays out in front like it should. The best of luck. From one Big Ford fan to another.
I’m an LS guy, but damn gotta love that Ford VOODOO Engine 👍👌 Glad it back Doris👍
Can't wait to hear that thing scream! Honestly, the stock GT350 is, in my opinion one of the best sounding motors out there and has been my dream Mustang since they came out. I'm hoping to get one at some point down the road on the used market. Congrats on getting your motor back from its build!
It really does sound good. These changes will only enhance it and its one of the reasons why I decided to stay n/a with this build. I'm happy it's getting closer to me driving it :)
$25k wow 😮 but I can't wait until you get the Shelby together 😋👌🏼 happy new year hun
That’s not a bad price at all from RPG, to have a shop like that with the equipment to get the tolerances exact, and the peace of mind you get from experienced builders is worth so much!!
Badass engine! I need to find a lady that gets excited about an engine like you.
It's just been way too long. Glad to have it back.
Wow! Can't wait to here it run. It should be a track monster.
Happy New Year! Great video!👍
Bulletproof all the way. It will be much better than the original, better version and it will keep you safe. Waiting for the day for your car to be done and running again. Happy New Year 🎆, great video!
I’m so happy to see the Shelby gt 350 engine it looks so good I really enjoyed this video thank you so much Doris
I'm as excited as you for this new engine!!!!! also they de-stressed the block. How they do that, massage, scented oils?
That engine is gonna be crazy nice👌 I use a ATI dampner on my build too😉
Another well prepared and explained vid .That motor is a beast hopefully it can stand up to Doris's right foot My guess it would cost 25K with the mods you wanted. Can't wait to see your expression driving it. Fantastic you ROCK !.
just curious.. are you going to take 3d measurements of the water pump cavity and passages into the heads.. have one 3d printed in clear so you can spin the water pumps up while using a high speed camera to verify you are not getting cavitation from the shape of the water pump impeller blades that can limit the coolant circulation flow and the mechanical pressure the pump builds up against the back of the closed thermostat.. increasing the boiling point of the coolant. each pound of pressure increases the boiling point 3F.. this is not cooling system pressure. this is water pump mechanical pressure built up by the blocking of the coolant flow by the thermostat.. forcing the coolant to circulate thru the bypass hoses that if i am not mistaken are in the back of the intake and involve the heater core.. that is a lot of info.. but the bypass circuit allows the coolant to circulate thru the block. the heads and back to the water pump before the thermostat opens allowing the coolant to swap from the radiator to the engine/heads circuit.. hopefully the cooling bypass on the back of the heads.. will help but does it just connect the back of the heads or does it run the coolant back to the water pump inlet. or the lower radiator tank.. which ever feeds the water pump inlet.
i would also like to know if you are planning on sending your injectors out for flow testing a cleaning and again flow testing.. to verify that they can flow at the new higher RPM red line i know you are going to wing this engine too.. make sure to photograph and also write the numbers down off the injectors.. so you know they have not swapped out your very high flow injectors for a stock set.. because somebody in the shipping department did not know what they were doing or they planned on selling your injectors for a fortune to others..
if you have a set of GT350 factory service manual info.. please study the coolant flow diagrams if included..
while the engine is out.. also study the wiring diagrams and the more important GROUND Location diagrams. make sure before you put the engine back in that you clean every ground connection. this is not just the negative battery cable connection to the block there are usually 6 or 7 ground connections around the engine bay. that need to have both sides of each ring terminal wire brushed to remove oxides and the bottom side of the fastener head wire brushed and the mounting surface cleaned also.. why... electrons travel from Negative to Positive.. Ground connections in a car are NOT For safety. they are half the circuit and the side that supplies the electrons.. guess what. if you have a bad ground. you will have a restriction to electrons flowing thru and reduced overall voltage to your component so it won't have enough electrons to do the job as designed. you don't run an engine that has a kink in the fuel line do you.. do you run an engine that has a smashed exhaust tip restricting flow?? don't do it to your electrical devices. you may also want . i don't know how many miles your GT350 has on it.. but you might want to look at the cooling fan wiring diagrams and see how many relays it has. it may have a relay known as a braking relay.. that when the positive fan control relays are NOT energized. it removes the fan ground connection to the body and runs it back into the fan circuit.. this stops or significantly slows down the fans at high speeds. to stop the fan motors and blades from exploding from the high speed ram air thru the radiator. if the braking relay is bad. and its not in the fuse box .. you may not have enough electrons to spin the fans at full speed.
my favorite ground ring terminal cleaning devices is a Lincoln Electric stainless steel wire tooth brush from Homedepot .. its about $3.50. just enough bristle strength to clean the oxides off without removing the coating or plating. but who am i .. just a former professional auto mechanic with 40 years of skills.. you would have loved riding in my 66 GTO with a 408 big block chevy in it.. i loved watching the passengers as i shifted gears and their heads bobbed backwards.. my little sister compared it to a take off in a jumbo jet.. it pushed you back in the seat harder and harder as it went faster and faster .. it was also insanely loud.. turbo mufflers bolted directly to the collector adapters. no exhaust pipes. you could hear me miles away if i got deep into the throttle. it was 5 years after i sold that car that i could hear vacuum leaks again. and i never should have sold it. that car is why i became such a proficient mechanic.. i had to fix everything on that car several times. went thru 6 engines in 5 years. cheap parts the engine rebuilder sold me.. said they were the best.. the best at his profits.
you really need to put in over 1,000 miles without going over 5,000 RPM on your engine if you expect it to survive for any length of time.. don't let anybody else drive it.. until you have over the 1,000 mile mark. as they will go do burnouts with it and destroy the engine again. just because it will red line at 9,000 rpm does not mean you need to wing it that high to show off or do burnouts with. burn outs are to heat the tires to get the rubber super sticky.. impress people with the brute force acceleration the car has. not how much smoke you can produce ..
wayne..
Hi D looking forward to more vlogs on GT350 engine man that engine looks good an will sound beast hope you have had a nice Christmas an a happy new year an may the new year bring all your viewers happy tidings as well 👍👍👌👌🥳🥳
The dreaded “might as well” point of a build! Engine is out, might as well do this and that too lol. Can’t wait to hear this at WOT
I realize you are going for aesthetics here but back in the day I have seen what happens when clutch's explode in a car at only 7000 RPM and with 9000 RPM, I personally would ignore aesthetics in favor of safety. I also realize that technology today is much better then "way back when" but still, if it were me I'd opt for a high quality racing scatter-shield instead of an aluminum bellhousing, (even instead of a Ford SVT aluminum bellhousing), so that if that clutch breaks at 9000 rpm, a piece of that clutch does not end up going thru the factory aluminum bell housing, (at 9000 RPM), thru the floor and taking of part of your foot or even your whole foot. Back in the day they also used transmission safety blankets on automatic transmission's for roughly the same reason. I love that you went with restoring the original motor instead of getting a new one. Years down the road that will pay of in it's collectors value with the car maintaining all its original parts and becoming a classic and then antique. By the way, you are kinda too late to consider Super charging that engine, (without moving backwards on the build), because an engine with 12.5 to 1 compression pistons in it will not stand up to the pressure of supercharging even with hugely under driven pulleys, (which would be a waste of a super charger anyway). The average Supercharged engine usually has 8 to 1 compression pistons to make room in the cylinders for the super charger to do its magic.
Old man just loves that 350.It the sound it makes.👍👍👍👍👍
Finally GT350 is back!😎
Hi. happy New Year. Please allow me to introduce myself I am Felix, this is my first time on your network, all I can say is that I was impress with your blog. the first and foremost is that you have American made cars. BEAUTIFUL PIECE THIS IS MY DREAM GARAGE
Dories that engine looks amazing 🤩 your going to have soooo much fun.
Doris, your engine is gorgeous! 9,000 rpm! 12.5 compression 😱 Freaking awesome and well worth the money! I'm also going to have my SSP engine assembled by the engine builder to save time as I'm also busy LOL. This video made me so happy I even made sure Tiffany watched it with me LOL
Definitely going to be a intriguing to see how it's going to sound and perform with that new engine. Hellstang in the making lol.
Beautiful engine, looking forward to seeing it all fitted in and ready to roar! ^.^
Glad you are keeping it NA. Looks like it was built right for you purpose. Congrats!

Happy New Year Doris 🎉
Thats a beautiful motor damn. I hope it serves you well. Cant wait to see it back in the car.
I love your content and enthusiasm. I have been contemplating getting a GT-350 for a while now . Any recommendations what to look for and where to find a good deal ?
Hello I like your videos great job. Will transmission be able to handle the added horsepower?
Not a Ford fan but it’s exciting to see what kinda power this engine is going to put down.
Hey Doris, super awesome video!!! I am really happy and excited for you. Wow, it's amazing all the things they installed to the engine. I can see you cannot contain your excitement haha, that is so cool. Hey Doris, that car deserves a very special cinematic video once you turn it on and take it back to the street, that will be awesome. Thank you for this awesome video, take care and have a beautiful day 👋😃❤⭐
I was so happy to see it and all of the changes it has. I'm excited to work on it but I have to be a bit more patient till the GT is completed. You're absolutely right. It deserves a nice cinematic once it's all ready and on the street again. Thanks for watching and take care are well :)
$25,000!!! Thats awesome! i'm excited to get a new engine hoist thats $175!
I think you should put a small turbo kit on it I know you said you wanted to go naturally aspirated but you also said your other cars had superchargers so why not try something different and put a hellion turbo kit on it. You don't have to get huge turbos to make gobs of power run you about 7 lb of boost something just to give a little pip in his step in my opinion hellion makes one of the best turbo kits out there. And the good thing about it is something that you can do yourself because the kits are bolt-ons which you working on it by yourself is something that you could probably do in two weekends if you just worked on the weekends and something you could probably do in about 3 or 4 days I think it'd be worth your while that's my opinion I think turbos is where it's at 7 lb of boost is not a whole lot my opinion your car but that's what I would like to see done but it's your car so but you should definitely try turbos on a car
Hi Doris, it’s been a little bit since you’ve talked about your GT350 ,that being the case I’m happy to see some ACTION !!! Finally!!! 👍🏼..
My question to you is where did you buy your engine hoist plate...been looking for one for a while...
Great news! Glad to see it back. Did you keep the flat plane? Why didn't you go dry sump?
I’ve been waiting on this video! Can’t wait for more. Hope all is well keep crushing it
It's finally here :). Can't wait to get things moving.
Fan from Europe, like the passion for engines and cars you show in the video's, you will probably like this person also, same passion for performance although not American muscle cars, Subi-performance, especially the BMW engine he is working on, you make CZcams fun to watch again.
Oye ! Pero que reguero en el shop 🤣 I'm kidding ,awesome to see the 350 upgrade , my favorite ,l was waiting for it 🙌💪
That engine is going to be solid!! Cant wait to hear it roar.
Can't wait to see the Mustang on the road again.
I am very excited to take a tour of the car to see how efficient its new engine is

You should check the oiling and break in procedure if there is one.
