They really did Jenna dirty in the end, she witnessed her boyfriend's supposedly dead wife make an appearance, she found out those close to her lied to her, then there's Klaus being Klaus only for her to be turned into a vampire and die
She did deserve better in general, but not this scene. Stefan was focused on saving her life. He understood that the only way to get her out of the situation would be to scare her out of it and he made the right choice in doing so. This wasn’t anything personal against her or hurtful to her.
