Not a big fan of DSLRs for skatebarding. I prefer the footage that comes out of the Panasonic HVX200.HPX170 or HMC150 cameras these days. But old Sony VX1000 footage with a MKI lens will always hold a place in my heart

Hi, Hayden! So I went through a lot of setups before. If you're really under a tight budget, I suggest getting an EOS-M with a 7Artisans fisheye lens for aps-c! I had that setup before and it did the job. The only struggle you're gonna have is lack of autofocus and difficultly to shoot in low light. You can just set a focus point and add an external light to alleviate this!
