The 5 man is likely to cut under the lowest defender that the 4 man seals for an opportunity to be available for a potential dump off. The weak side wing in a zone is not gonna help that low off of his area he’s assigned to.

Make a lot more sense for 3 to spread to the corner whilst 1 swings to 2, then you can run the same 4 screen on the reversal and 1 makes the read

… but from the start, if ur 4 & 5 are already inside the defenders, that’s a bullet or lob pass to the inside for a layup

If screened correctly he will be behind the play for a split second which gives the 3 time for a decision on what option to take

I never see the 2 3 zone this wide its always compact especially with bigs on bottom
