Great build Phil! I bought the same one, just shopping now for a cheap used c10 to be the donor rig.
Awesome. That’s what I should have done really. Time to make a start on a spare parts special I think. 🤔
Ive been trying to avoid the 1/24 rabbit hole, but this is a cool little kit. Hopefully you haven’t forgotten or gave up on the 1/10 crawlers 👍🏼
I am totally hooked on crawling again thanks to these little guys, but the 1:10s will be out as soon as the weather starts to improve. I know you can still drop an awful lot of money in to the mini scale stuff as well, but the entry point is so low it's hard not to get drawn in! I bought another one today and at £80 with a bunch of upgrades still in packets and ready to go on. Just love this hobby! 🤙
Didn’t even think of using straight pins with the flysky receiver, I think I’ll do that with my new build, thanks for the idea =)
Can’t believe I didn’t think of it before! I’ve used straight pins now in my trx4m and it makes so much more sense. Those rx are designed for planes I think, so I see why they send them with angled pins. Happy soldering! 🤙
Great find, Phil!
Thanks, didn’t take much effort though to be fair. They are all over the Facebook groups at the minute 😂
Not so much info on CZcams though so seemed like a good one to do a video on. 🤙
Good looking truck , well done Phil.
Thanks Dan.
Thats such a cool looking kit. I did a “el bandito” bronco build on a trx4m that turned out really good. Thanks for sharing. Take care.
Thanks for watching. That El Bandito sounds very cool.
Great little build! Working on finishing up one of those right now. Cheers!
You’ll have to check mine out when I post it. I may be at that advanced end builder you mentioned. Did a ground up on it from scratch with Super 8 axles. -Again, great video. Subbed.
@@bcochener I’ll keep an eye out for sure. I’ve seen a bunch of your videos and your builds are are always 🔥
Looking forward to seeing what you’ve done with this one for sure. 🤙
@@PhilBrindley heck yeah! Thanks for watching. I’ve subbed up as well!
OMG Phil that looks awesome and excellent value for money .
I love the challenge of moding something and getting things to fit but I'm an engineer/machinist it's my job to figure stuff out .
You as usual come across very well just enough technical without going over the top .
Doesn't it just!? I may have accidentally created a shelf queen. 🤣
Thanks for your ongoing support Geoff. 🤙
I too am attempting to build this kit. I made mine more comp scale with the real sponsorship decals. I even shoe gooed an antenna on it too. An added life like bead locks
Sounds great. I was pretty pleased with the stock decals, but some real sponsors logos would look much better. 🤙
Also subbed
Thanks you. 🤙
Amazing kit for leas than £40
I think it’s great value, and you don’t often get to say that about RC stuff. 🤪
Will that body fit on the Gladiator scx24
It will as it’s a complete chassis swap. But your wheelbase might be a bit long.
It took me a while to get it right….i see you gave up
Gave up on what?
