Buddy pls understand the concept just don’t get panic , I have Volkswagen car and I also faced the same problems many few times . It’s just that when the tank is almost empty or in reserve , this problem arises and you won’t see the actual reading after filling the tank . It’s bcos the tank is having float guage which gets stuck down in the tank so always recommended to keep at least more than 1/4th if not possible to keep 1/2 of the tank capacity and it also gives you better mileage .

Ye isliye hota hai ki kabhi chadi pe aapki car band hui hogi aur fir turant start hua ho clutch chod dene ke wajah se simultaneously. Isme iska kuch computerised system fail ho jata hai.phir se doobara aisa karne pe thik ho jata hai
Best way to such problem, fill the tank full and drive till empty. Repeat 2 to 3 times. I had this in my Alto when new. Workshop Manager suggested this idea. This way the float will become sensitive and show correct reading. This is because your car is new.

It is not only about creta it is with all latest Hyundai cars you just have to restart the car and all the updations will be made then and you’ll able to see actual figures after the restart thing is done. And Ya hyundai needs to update this.
Maine bhi ye problem face kari creta 2021 mai but iska ek solution hai aap apna bonut open karo or battery ke uppar ek nut hai usko kholo or wapas laga do sahi ho jayega 👍🏼
Recently i faced the same problem . disconnect negative wire of battery and connect it again . and when you start your creta you will hear a sound from petrol tank .
I got similar problem in my new creta, after refuling full tank, distance to empty shows 767 km but after driving more than 150 km it's still shows 767. I shown this problem to Hyundai mechanics, he removed battery terminal for 5 min and after reconnect terminal it's shows 694 balance but after 10 km of driving once again reading is freezed bu 692 and itis not decreasing..

Sir same problem mere sath bi ayi hai aaj.mere pas bi creta 1.5 MT knight petrol h.meri instrument cluster pe 74 k.m expected dikha raha tha .maine petrol pump pe ja kar 750 rupees ka petrol bharwaya.uske bad 16-17 ke average ke hisab se lagbhag 205-210 k.m expected Ane chahiye the but cluster pe reading same 74 k.m hi rahi.maine petrol pump vale ko pel diya.but fir bi vo nai mana.abi meri gadi only 1600 k.m hi chali hai.mai bi kal service centre ja kar is problem ko rectify karvaunga.Thanks to you.
Bhai diesel gaadi mein zyaada rakho Kyunki gaadi badi hai aur uska fuel tank bhi Aakhri tak neeche aane tak intezaar nahi karna jald se jald dala lena diesel nahi toh injector shot hone ka khatra bad jaata hai it's not a company's fault its your fault bro so be aware next time kyunki gaadi mehengi hai toh uske parts bhi mahenge honge
I have creta SX(o) Diesel that i purchaged 3 months back.I also face the same problem when I purchage the fuel of upto Rs 500...the meter shows the accurate reading for the diesel of 1000 0r above.

Distance to empty is a simple calculation. Agar 10 ka milege milega to uss hisab se dikyayega agar 15 ka mileage milega to jada dikhayega. So it's never accurate. Tank full karo aur mileage nikalo. Activa jaisa mat use karo.500, 500 ka kya fanda hai? Tank full to tank full. Paisa to utna hi lagega. Pump jana aur ana.
Dost pay karke waha se nikal gya vo to sahi hai lekin jitna raita apne failaya uske liye sorry b bolna tha patrol manager se, mana sb log sahi nahi hote lekin ye choti choti c baate aap agar video me daloge to logo ko kuch seekhne ko b milta hai..
Full tank method me ye problem nhi hota... Agar fuel reserve me ata hai...or 500 ya 1000 ka ( except full tank) aap dalte ho to mid ho ya fuel gauge it will take some time to show it. Try it

80 km ka matab hai , you are in reserve, its BS6 engine.. they advice min to keep 10 litre i which 5 litre as reserve and 5 as normal

Check manual I've face same issue if you add less than 6 litre fuel then mid not updated so every time add fuel upto 6 litre then mid update
Its depends on mileage of your car is giving while running
That's why always see fuel guage !!!
