I don't understand why Traffic Police doesn't take any action agiasnt these 2 laws of driving. Along with checking helmets of 2 wheelers they should see who is driving with High beam on in city traffic. Government will make so much money from this penalty yet they don't take any strict action against it.

Oh my gosh finally someone is talking about it now, on December 2023 i was on my way to pickup my family from a wedding night,i was driving our mahindra bolero,a car on high beam was coming from the opposite side he didn't even lowered the beam it was literally too high, suddenly a truck appeared infront of me,i pushed all of the brakes i could,my soul came out of me,it was a close call and from that day i take stones in my dash board

Bro i experienced a creta driver for the first time a few days ago. I was on a scooty on a residential road when a creta pulled up behind me out of nowhere , i slowed down for a speed breaker which was coming up and he started honking at me and flashing his headlight I had heard about creta drivers so i gave him way and he floored it through 2 speed breakers that was an eye opening experience for me...

One major point that this video missed is that, creta is being sold for 8-9 years and now it’s presence in 2nd hand market is significant. Creta is available for much cheaper price compared to all other cars, hence it ends up being in hand of many langoors who don’t know how to handle the angoors.

Whenever me and my mum go out to market, malls or nearby areas. everytime we manage to find a creta driver being rash and stupidly honking for no reason. Once there was nobody in front of them still honking and high beams.
Sometimes the situation gets very very funny on road -
1. A bigger & pricier Skoda Kodiaq / Endeavour / Fortuner owner races with my 200bhp XUV 700 to tell me that they are the boss on the road,
2. Exact opposite also happens when an Alto / Swift / Grand i10 etc starts racing with me to prove that they are no less than me or my car,
3. The best is when same car with same power-torque starts racing to prove that they are better drivers perhaps, and
4. Himachal and UK taxi drivers are on another level of hatred towards another state number plates 😂, uphill or downhill, they would honk the hell out untill you give them pass!
Mostly it's I-AM-BETTER-THAN-YOU syndrome that we all are suffering from that is deeply rooted / ingrained/ embedded into our psyches since childhood consciously and unconsciously by our parents, relatives and teachers.

Its a combination of factors, the car is really quick and enjoyable to drive for its segment, has great blinding lights and horn to compliment it. Same is with ola scooter owners, they just flash or zoom out from no-where.
Earlier this was behaviour was common on innova drivers now they have died down and become humble.
I have noticed that tiago ev , yes very specific. Drives very eagerly and silently. I had a few close calls with this car owners , on the other hand nexon or nexon ev owners drive very reasonably and carefully.

Also in general in India, for some reason people think it is okay to drive slow on the roads, especially on bridges and highways by old and multiple people in the car and others. Like if you are going to go slow go on the normal road and not on roads that were made for higher speeds. They then complain that people don't know to drive but in actually they are the one not driving at the right speed.

Cars , specially suv has become status symbol in India. They think other people driving bikes or cheaper cars or public transport are inferior to them . They try to show their superiority complex and hence road rage incident occurs.
I don't think owning a car from a specific brand is a problem. But since nowadays everything (even iphones) are easily available on EMI's , its much easier for anyone to own a good car. Creta, Seltos, Thar, Scorpio (cars within 10-15L) range are now more accessible to people who rarely care about traffic sense. All of these inspite of having their own good features in their own way are now being labelled bad or are being made fun of, but the fact is the person driving these cards are to be blamed (if they are creating problems for others). I hope people understand that buying a SUV does not gives them license to trouble other people on road, but due to such people the good ones are also being made fun of. Like nowadays people make fun of Wagon R, Swift Desire etc owners since these cards are being used for cab services too. Bhai jo banda apni mehnat se alto bhi buy kare, uska mazak na udao. There can always be bad / careless drivers, but one should not make fun of each and every brand's cars as apke liye toh mazak bannana asan hai, kisi ke liye 10 saal ki mehnat bhi ek choti si car ho sakti.
I personally believe profession also plays a big role in selection of a personal car.I booked a Black Scorpio Classic but later on I canceled it and bought a Deep forest Scorpio N because it wasn’t going with my Senior Software Engineer role and My Dad is a Pharmaceutical Officer so he drives a Silver elite I20 because it matches his profession.And people in India consider Car as a status symbol so profession also plays a big role in it.

On my daily route i notice 1 thing creta and thar always overtake when no space and sometimes i have to go on foot path and sometime need to stop they give dipper and horn and just press pedal💀💀

Back in history when creta was launched very few could buy it that time and those were rich people or altleast upper middle class who had high socio economic status. In recent years many got inspired and wanted to feel powerful like those so they tend to buy creta. If you see there are not many cars today which are in creta price range which werr also there 9-10 years back. Similar is case with scorpio.

ab hua ye ki ak bike wala bich lane me bike khadi karke phone pe baat kar raha tha (drunk maybe) ab me turn se aa raha tha isliye high beam wali light uspe padhi nahi
mene middle wali gaadi ki wajha se high beam jaise hi wapas on ki meko wo bike wala dikha mene hard break mara aur apni gaadi truck ki side thodi leli... bhala ho wo truck wale ka usne aadhi road ke niche uski gaadi utar di aur me bike wale ko bacha liya aur meri family bhi bach gayi truck se.

tabse mene low beam dena chhor diya jab tak samne wala nahi karta low beam..

There is dire need to silence Creta's annoying horn more than anything else. I think horn is one thing which is not liked by many on all Hyundai Vehicles. These horns are very loud and it irates many a driver on road.
I travelled to Mizoram last year, the road etiquette is seriously one of the best, if not the best, in the world.
When money is easy to get but not some "Class". This is what happens.....Jaise Swift rakhne waale jyaadatar log apni gaadi me Mini Cooper ki feeling lete hain. Rahi baat high beam ki, woh to bhai "Activa" rakhne waalo ne bhi naak me dhaniya bo rakha hai...

Absolutely true . Today I had a similar experience . I was travelling in my car . It was single lane and 1 way . At a point , the car ahead of me turned on right indicators and turned right for uturn . I turned on left indicator and steered left slowly . A creta guy turned on lights flashed , honked me continuously and overtook me through left when my car was staying diagonally towards left . Thank God I saw him on my mirror dash cam and slammed on brakes at right time . My mom was terrified. People walking on footpath had their palm on their head . A bike guy came near me and said it was a just miss for me as well as him as that crete guy was doing zig zag for a while and overtook the biker few seconds ago and he almost escaped a crash .

Honestly speaking, We need to ban horn in India and also high beams. High beams are a big menace, people should change their OEM bulbs every 2 years instead of putting Chinese bulbs that literally make you blind on the roads. Incoming traffic with high beams and literally driving in patli gali’s with high beams is so disturbing. I hope people can be civil while driving on road, Mostly WagonR, Baleno, Creta, Thar, Fortuner, Dzire, Verna aur bhi hai kayi jo dukhi karte hai roads pe HIGH BEAMS aur Horns ke saath, Aur kuch fukrey hote hai, jo 2 wheelers ke rear view hata dete hai aur active waale kahi se bhi horn baja baja nikal hi jaate hai !

Creta is going to be the next chapri car. There is a reason family person never buys creta easily.Only the first gen creta was preferred by the family person. Also it could be the next Scorpio. The way scorpio was used in UP BIHAR JHARKHAND and CHATTISGARH and in HARYANA too like they owned the road back in the days.
