This and Threat Level Midnight are peak cinema and I would gladly watch both of them on the big screen should Fathom Events ever realize they'd make a nice profit arranging special screenings of them.
Whichever costume person picked Alison's outfit deserved an emmy just for this scene.

@@charlie7mason me too haha, I looked up "community" because I wanted to know what the show is about (I heard it mentioned on D&D circles a couple times because appearantly it had a really good D&D episode) and this was one of the first results. I'm so confused lol
I was reminded of Stargates parody of Farscape.
I love that they have Alison wear more eye catching outfits, it certainly stands out, compared to her usual buttoned up, Conservative attire.

Annie, the hot one, the smart one, the morally superior one.... it occured to me much later how much of a mary sue she was
Hardly. A defining factor of the Mary Sue is that any problems the character DOES exhibit is not treated as a problem by the narrative, nor by other characters. Uptight, infantilized, at clings to apathetic attitudes around her in a fantasy; she’s got her own fair share of problems, ones that pose both in-story problems and prove unlikable to others around her. Seems fine, well-rounded to me.

@c.decker3046 I think the OP meant that Annie IS morally superior, not that she ACTS like a person who THINKS she's morally superior but is much more flawed than they realize or want to realize.
That said, I feel Annie does also have a tendency to get incredibly frustrated and upset with people when they behave in ways that she believes goes against what is proper moral code. And she's much more of an ambitious, Type-A personality than both Britta and Shirley. The big difference is, the other two have clear political agendas whenever they try to dictate their moral standards to others.
Disagree. Annie gets a lot wrong. I think she was flanderized later on like a lot of other characters. Also, the morally superior one is clearly Troy. He’s the only one who saves everyone when their lives are in actual serious danger (The Zombie episode), and Pierce even says he has the heart of a hero.
