The sextant in the room is a cork screw. It unscrew from the top. The octopus is a cell phone holder. Each ship has a different color. It’s purple on Valiant Lady.

Miami resident and I can agree the winter morning feel is amazing but you will learn to wear shorts with a sweater because after about noon it will be HOT no matter what day lol

The black bag hanging in the closet is the laundry bag, and it’s Huge! I fit an entire weeks worth of clothes in, and had it wash/fold for only $30 ….. which was covered by my sailor loot! Amazing service and reasonable price .

I would think Virgin isn’t plus size friendly with their cabines and other things around the ship
Looking forward to this series…we were actually supposed to be on this sailing…would have loved to say hi..now we are finally booked for December on the Valiant Lady…been wanting to sail Virgin since the restart and it just kept getting pushed…we mostly do Celebrity and my husband has been a little hesitant to try Virgin…
Question…what time did you book dinners so you didn’t miss shows…
It’s funny how many people we talk to on Virgin and they say that they primarily cruise Celebrity! We made most of our dinner reservations at 6:00 PM then tended to go to the late shows. :D

Update for the passport requirements: you're not required to have a passport, you can take a birth cert + id
Aha, looks like they added the birth certificate option somewhere around June 2023. We didn’t have a VV cruise booked at that time, or I’m sure they would have emailed us the change. Thanks for the update!! :D
@parodeejay Passport is still required if sailing from PR, even if you're a US citizen. They didn't email any agents

Not sure if it's just the lens messing with my perspective, but it looks like there are a lot of places where the ceilings are *really* close to Jay's head.
I know he's a tall boy, but so am I and that kinda freaks me out .
Yeeeeeah, there are quite a few vertically challenged ceilings around the ship, ha ha.
Is the soda just fountain or do they have cans or bottles?
Jay I thought they have changed the food service in the galley if you don’t want to wait you can go up to the station and put your order in and wait there
Apparently so! We did point that out in this vlog while we were still at The Galley!! :P

We usually had about an hour and a quarter average time for dinner, other than Test Kitchen which is a bit of a longer experience.

Unfortunately, VV has ended their status match program.
We saw that! I guess if you didn’t book by the end of 2023 to sail in 2024, they’re planning to places tour. Curious when they’ll announce their own loyalty program, as they don’t seem to have one in place yet.
