What I learned today is that Link definitely still needs that chart.
I felt bad every time he tried to use his chart. He looked at it so often for help
So the reason the chart works is that it's impartial. Link's scores without it are entirely based on how the actual taste compares with his expectations. If he expects it to be good and it's merely OK, he'll give it a 20. When he expects it to be bad and it's OK, he'll give it a 65-70, lol. See? The same quality (ok) for both, but it's all about his preconceived notions.
The chart is impartial, so he must use it.

I'm with Link. If it advertises Crunch and it has no Crunch, it gets lower than regular.
But this episode gave me the expectation that they would rate ice cream on how good it is not by how close it is to their expectation. Even though my entertainment rating would be 85 I’ll have to give them a 50.
but I don’t care abt their expectation. I want a solid understanding if it’s a good bar or not. Even if it has no crunch. Sure dock points but what abt the taste. Is the crunch all that matters? if so. that’s a faulty scale
@@Verylengthyapple If you ADVERTISE a product as having something and it DOES NOT HAVE THAT THING, yes, that should be the MAIN thing that matters. If your chocolate flavored drink doesn't taste like chocolate and you're rating flavoured drinks that taste like what they're supposed to, then by default it has failed at what it is supposed to do. Be a chocolate flavoured drink. The "Crunch" Klondike Bar has no CRUNCH then it fails at being a Crunch Klondike Bar and is just a REGULAR Klondike Bar.

Breakfast of champions!! The last place I think my Daddy said he was buying them from, maybe around 2014-ish before Mum got sick, was a KMart. So all of our KMarts proceeded to disappear. Several years earlier, when I hadn't seen any Neapolitans for quite a while, I found them in a grocery store in Keene, New Hampshire while I was on vacation -- so I knew they were still around. I had to fight the impulse to buy a package and try to eat all six bars before they melted (it was August). Until they return, buy some Neapolitan ice cream and some "Magic Shell" topping, strip the carton away from the ice cream and slice it into slabs, and then douse each slab with "Magic Shell".

In my experience anything "unicorn" branded is just colored sugar and no real flavors marketed straight to kids. I've never had a good experience with unicorn food
So that's what you would think. But as a lover of most horrifyingly sweet unicorn things those unicorn cones are the absolutely most disgusting thing I've ever had. I dont know how they got it through to mass production

Rhett and link need to find a scale they agree on. In increments of something for example a score between 90-100 is the perfect 80-89 almost perfect 70-79 good but not perfect 60-69 good not great 50-59 I’ll eat it but wouldn’t ask for it. ETC
