    The Stoddard sounds amazing as usual! Though I'm curious, why did you move it closer to the outside wall? I would think that would destabilize the tuning a bit.

      I had to make room for the Steinway XR so the Stoddard had to move. Luckily the house is very well insulated and humidity and temperature kept at optimal ranges. I just tuned that piano today after 2 years. It had barely moved out of tune. Surprisingly a ton of tuning torque on it.

      @@Yalie06405 Ooh, did you finally move the Steinway away from the doors? I guess it's not surprising the upright held in tune, considering you've made the environment more stable than a brick in concrete!
      My old upright, as I've probably mentioned before, sits in the cold in an unheated summer house and not only stays in really good tune but also just loves to stay at A 444.
