I am a 70 yr. Old Jonathan fan that has followed him since his 1st BGT performance. I have prayed a lot for him, recognizing the extremely rare talent and extraordinary abilities he has on stage. All of my life, I have listened to the greatest voices in Opera and there in front of me on TV was a young man whose vocal finesse went way beyond my imagination and expectations. At such a young and tender age he certainly had his career etched in stone. When I was very young, my greatest Opera idol was Mario Lanza and I did everything in my power to sound just like him. I never had any training or knowledge of anyone who could mentor me so like so many before me, I just faded away. God chooses those who will take his gift and bring it into focus and puts impossible amounts of hard work into it like Jonathan Antoine has done. At my age, not only can I say I am a big fan of him but he is also a hero to me. He has succeeded where others have failed and did it so beautifully. God bless Jonathan and Charlotte, whose friendship took Jonathan down the right road. It is good to hear that Charlotte had success of her own. I live them, and all who read this and may God watch over you ! A friend always !

I’ve been with Jonathan from the beginning, back when they were Jonathan and Charlotte. I saw them again on BGT, and couldn’t believe they didn’t get first place. They are both talented, and they were great friends who relied on each other for confidence. They simply grew older and wanted different things. I hope they find their way back to friendship. I have seen Jonathan sing with other renouned artists, and I have seen him solo. I lost track of Charlottes along the way, but I have no doubt what-so-ever, that she is “killing it” in the industry. Perhaps they will pair up to sing occasionally, some time in the future. That’s my hope.

As I am listening to this, I begin to realize that we are NOT getting the WHOLE story; this is an anti-bullying tirade rather than a comprehensive story of Jonathon's professional life. I am sure he has been bullied. I was bullied at school for being a foreigner. Life continues in spite of bullying for most of us, and from what I read, Jonathon continues to perform. It is ultimately his performing that interests me.. not the bullying from long, long ago.

The day Jonathan Antoine will be able to stop paying attention to those who bully him, he'll be able to get over his depressive feelings. I know it is hard, because he is a very sensitive man who, if he can place himself above this bs, will be able to achieve whatever he wants.
Also, perhaps people bully him because they are jealous of him, to have such a talent, which is an excellent reason for Jonathan Antoine to not pay attention to those around him.
I have always been different from others, and I protected myself by not paying attention to what people said around me meaning : I don't care whatever you say !! and it helped me carry on my life. I agree. This is like a scam channel. The voiceover is a robot (a good robot, relatively, but still, not being a human it misses all sorts of emphasis that the text requires and pauses in the wrong places). The text is repetitive and fulfils little real function except just to keep us watching in hopes of getting the question answered. It's disgraceful. I won't watch anything else by this channel. @@stormchild831 I was taking a poke at someone who pretends to be educated and showing him not so much. He can't write English sentences or spell.
He went to Italy and interviews with very famous Opera trainers, that had wormed with the greatest artists in the world. They suggested he enroll and study there. He was not really keen, do devote time, in order to achieve world greatness. Too bad that he didn’t follow that advice, and eventually perform in the biggest opera houses in the world. He had a magnificent voice, that somehow needs to learn the nuances of the greatest. I wish him well, but I am afraid his talent will be very much confined to the UK and the US , maybe. I am so very sorry about all his mental problems and stress. I hope he is working toward maintaining health , and sanity.
He has already performed in Canada,Vietnam Australia ,Italy so not confined to USA and UK at all .Jonathan has time -if he wishes -to train and study opera but he has never said this is his aim at the moment. He is working on his fitness and is open about his autism and is a great ambassador for mental health.

Jonathan's problems started when he decided to let the world around him dictate how he should feel about himself. Read Wayne Dyer's 'Pulling Your Own Strings", take some vitamin D, and some minerals. Quit giving a shit what others think and stand your ground. It works wonders.

Cuddly ? Sweetheart, he is talented, but he is literally digging his own grave health-wise. If I were to give Jonathan some advice, I would advise him to take care of his Vitamin D3 deficiency first. Take it with Vitamin K2…..plus Magnesium……and Zinc. Then, the next thing I would do is to watch Dr. Eric Berg and let him teach him about eating Keto ALONG WITH intermittent fasting. This will FIRSTLY correct his health issues and SECOND drop the weight from his body. I am literally appalled that he has ignored his parents advice all of his life about his health. Jonathan would really benefit from a keto diet. Doesn’t require strenuous exercise, and it doesn’t cause you to have cravings. My son was about Jonathan’s size . Over the course of a year he dropped 50kg about 120 lbs. he’s in good health and because he’s young like Jonathan, his skin is in good condition. All the best Jonathan!

But as a based Orthopedic Surgeon, I have seen the ravages of morbid obesity in my patient population over the decades. “Medical reasons” are by far the last thing that people are suffering from, with their associated obesity.
