Lance has a small shelf layout in another room of his home. Based on the Los Angeles Junction Railroad. Once again Lance has captured the look and feel of the area. Hope you enjoy.
This has probraly got to be the most realistic model train layout I have ever seen. And the fact that its based on a railroad near me is even cooler! Exellent job man!
My favorite detail by far are the left over ties from where tracks used to be that are right up against loading bays that are no longer in service. Super common in LA industrial spurs and a great touch!
AWESOME!!!! This is as realistic and scale as you can get. I could watch these super videos all day long! Thanks so much for posting!!!!! BRAVO BRAVO!!!!!!
This guy can really model, between him and Pelle, I don't know who's better! I remember his nscale layout of the Monon, I bought the video and I am still amazed at his attention to detail! He went to HO and I new he was going to be outstanding! He makes me want to get rid of all my nscale and go to HO!
those sound decoders sound soooooo much better, when they arent turned up to 10 lol,.... on the upload that sounds like crap instead of cranking it up to the point you can hear the plastic vibrate, turn them down!!!! but, this right here,.... this is perfect!! the only thing that would sound any better, is a paragon rolling thunder.
Where are the people? A dozen Preiser figures and an engineer in 2619 will go far to avoid the zeroness of humans. Lit fusee placed by brakeman. Old or spare ties placed by the track gang. Palates and forklift used by dock loaders. Outstanding in all other aspects unrelated to "corpora recta."
Attention to details is beautiful! Great work
super, super job.. The detail and quality of your layout is outstanding.. The realism is right on.. Thank you
Love it,fantastic!
Your layout is amazing
I am a retired Locomotive Engineer and I can say that’s crazy realistic!

Lance beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
For such an alley I would have tried to bury the tracks lower.....but details galore
Incredible
Absolutely beautiful!!
At :47 I had to watch it again... Thought it was real. Excellent modeling!
Nice detailed layout, Lance! I grew up in the Los Angeles area.

The road flair..1:15 impressive

You did a great job modeling the LAJ

Do it. Go to HO before it is too late . . . Lol.
Pretty good approximation of the industrial hellscape south of downtown LA.
2:14 the crossings look exact are they custom made?

Was that a flare I saw on the street near those cross bucks? How did you manage that??!
Lance installed a red LED in the street that is activated by turning a switch on the fascia.
One little detail. Vandalism. No graffiti.
