This is one of the best zoos in the UK and Europe, with a diverse collection and rich history.
London Zoo is part of ZSL, an international science-driven conservation charity, working to restore wildlife in the UK and around the world.
We show all the animals from Lions and Tigers, to spiders and sloths! We even get to see the two-week-old Western Lowland Gorilla.

Great coverage as always guys! It's amazing to see the amount of development they've done over the years, especially when you consider the restrictions they have with all the listed buildings. The penguin enclosure has got to be the best I've seen!

It is very special and is the world’s oldest scientific zoo. It opened all the way back in 1828!
A great tour of London Zoo, I've not been there since I was little. We try and go to Whipsnade most years and love it there. Some great tips!

Great tour of the zoo guys! Gina's favorite is the penguins too! Mine are probably the water pups a.k.a. seals. The have really nice enclosures for the animals. The food looked pretty decent for zoo food. The lion are has some great theming. What ?!?!? Tigers don't smell like lavender? That is a really cool monkey exhibit. The zoo looks like a great place to spend the day!

Hi, thanks a lot for the tour. I am going in the second week of july to visit the zoo. Just would like to get the information that the penguin beach and rain forest, does these two costs any extra?
Hello, we’re so excited for you! It is a fantastic zoo. No, none of the exhibits are extra - it’s all included. You only pay more for an animal experience which you can book in advance.

I reside at brisol... Hence I have my return ticket to Bristol on that same day.. Can you please suggest me how long will it take to cover the zoo? And the guide map that I'll be getting at the admission zoo is it worthy to follow inside the zoo?
@ranitganguly2604 how long depends entirely on how much time you spend at each exhibit. If you want to see it all, then you could easily spend a full day. We would say allow at least 4 hours. The map is great.
