I was wondering if you could also write in the comments about good candidates for bras. I figure this would be on the quality pieces of clothing list and would love to have dome ideas from someone who is more familiar with it. I am a b cup if it helps. Thanks and sorry if it sounds weird.
Best bras I ever found were Hanes Get Cozy sports-bras at Walmart for under $7 :0)
Thank you!!! And the price is right as well!!!
I recognize that under armor water bottle.... I've had several and end up having to throw them out. They work well, but I swear I couldn't wash out the taste of soap from them after washing it once.
Guildbrook Farm - Off Grid Living Brilliant!
I do not carry a gun. I am, however, glad you do. May you or someone as sensible and grounded be around me in case of SHTF 🙏🏼.
I think you are my favorite female survivalist so far on CZcams because you make the most sense
I'm changing the way I do EVERYTHING from this video thank you so much😋 i especially love the bag. But I always carry on my person.
I'm glad to see a practical woman come out with EDC from a woman's perspective.
From another Jamie, thank you for your reasoned, rational approach to personal safety and preparedness. You don't have to be a "prepper" to learn tips on keeping yourself safe.
I'm in Texas. I am licensed to carry. My chosen conceal fits nicely in a small purse but I also have a bra holster (yes it's a real thing and I can wear a short sleeve shirt and still no one would notice). I am more comfortable going to a gun show here in TX than going to a public venue like the movies. When responsible people carry there is no fear. It's when nut jobs are carrying then there is a problem. Oh love the video and I have also be compiling a ladies version of an edc or get home bag. There are not many for us in YT so I appreciate this and all your other videos.
Very good video! Thanks for sharing all your knowledge! Your children are blessed to have you and Jeremy as their parents! You teach them real life!
I love how your edc bag is minimal. I've watch other edc bag videos and they have so much stuff in theirs. I am a 25 yr old woman and i carry a backpack purse. In my backpack purse I carry my wallet, phone, keys, 2 sanitary pads, 2 panty liners, lip balm/chap stick, flushable wipes, Advil, Tylenol, hand sanitizer, lotion snacks, water, multitool, band-aids, a pen, portable charger/power bank, and a sweater/cardigan
Always nervous when people carry their firearm in their bag and not on their person. I have carried for 20 years and only needed it three times. Those three time happened in seconds not minutes. I practice my draw as well as my aim. In real life bad things happen in the blink of an eye.
Hi there I just saw this today but I am so so proud of you for being safe and prepared out there as a woman…..I wish more women think they you do ….thank you for sharing….
Another thing I learned living outside NYC and traveling the world, was to keep the purse straps short enough so that you can hold it against your body with your upper arm. It makes it much harder for people to reach in to the clips/clasps/zippers without your noticing.
i loved the womans EDC perspective, well articulated and well put. thank you.
Very smart, and very practical!
Jaime, I always appreciate your good advice and method of delivery. I've learned a lot from your channel and feel like my family is now more prepared for emergencies because of some of the information I've gleaned from you. I also appreciate your responsible words when it comes to gun ownership.
Hey, awesome to see a female prepper EDC. I really enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing. Warm regards. D/P
Thanks for watching :0)
I have bandaids, antibiotic cream and Tylenol in my EDC. I don’t carry a gun but I’m very comfortable with a crossbow, a compound bow and a slingshot. So I have a slingshot lol. Probably weird but hey.
You can always find ammunition 💕
Great content! Thank you for this. I'm a man and all of your points do apply to us. Being Canadian, carrying a weapon is out of the question here but your comments reflect what we all think about gun safety. So thank you for your generosity and ideas. They are awesome :)
Very practical and thorough. Thank you!
That messenger bag is awesome. And I totally agree with the way you think about guns.
I love the pacsafe bags - I've been looking for something like that and will be ordering one. I appreciate your level headed approach to prepping.
Camo makes you stand out, that said, you be you .
That Purse is Awesome I'll be on Amazon shortly looking for it.
Love the Prepper series. When it comes to organization, efficiency & concise presentation, you two are immaculate! Thank you for a very easy-to-navigate channel.
very glad you put all resource info in the description.
In today's American gun climate it is really encouraging to see a life long gun owner/enthusiast advocate sensible gun ownership ideals.
The only "sensible" way to own a gun is too keep it on you at all times with a round in the chamber 👍
Thank you for sharing some really good tips and ideas. I always say "its better to be prepared" for things that could happen.
Thanks Jamie. Loved it
Great, informative video. Thank you for expressing your wise and sensible take on gun use and ownership. I grew up in a hunting and fishing family where guns were just a natural part of life. People need training and background checks. I fully agree with what you said. Excellent.
Awesome video! I'm a newbie in starting a female pepper edc. Many Thanks! 🏡 🙆 💖
Nice to see a woman's EDC ... good video thanks !
Thank you, great stuff to think about.
Great video! Thanks for sharing your experiences!
Jaime, this was my favorite video so far! Such helpful, practical items that we should all carry as well. Thank you and make more like this!
I watch a lot of your videos and the way things have been going I love to see how prepared you are. Such a great video. Thank you
I even didn't know there are so great anty-theft things! Brilliant. I know now what gift my husband should give me for my nearest birthday :)
Love that purse!!!!
Great video, thanks for sharing!
Just started doing this recently...but im adding solar power banks/solar charger pads to my everyday carry.
LOVE this video!!! Thank you for this very important information.
Nice to see a proper review.
Thank you for the info on that bag! I like the attached wallet, sometimes I get scatter brained. I saw an article about a lady going through security at an airport and got pulled aside for secondary screening.. When she got back to her purse her money was gone but a TSA agent had a wad of money in his shirt pocket. They watched the security video which showed him taking it. He might not have had time to take it if she had this bag and he had to get through a couple of those security zippers!
The bag is really well thought out. All of their products are.
I
Love edc videos!
Update!! Just got my Amazon shipment of the PrAna pants....OMG!! These are exactly what I have been looking for! They are so DANG comfortable!! Just went through my closet and donated 15 PAIRS of WALMART pants!! I can't THANK YOU ENOUGH JAIME!!
Yeaa!!! I am so glad you like them! Now you know why I have 4 pair and that is IT! :0)
You have great stuff, love your bag, I'm going to look into it, great video
Absolutely love all your videos, after finding you, now I am going through all your old ones.
RIGHT ON about the shoes! I JUST got a new Maxpedition Gyrfalcon Backpack for my GHB. The next day I bought a NEW pair of GOOD Hiking Boots. These boots are in the back of my vehicle right next to the Pack. If something happens, I don't care if I'm wearing a suit-the BOOTS are coming into service! I'm ALSO going to have a pair of Heavy Brush pants I can change into. Like you, I prefer darker clothing, and the Brush pants will offer me MUCH greater protection from the elements. I'll also be getting a really good Coat very soon. Though these items won't fit into my pack, I keep them right next to the pack, so I can change into appropriate clothing if and when something happens.
Thank you for sharing all this. Lots of good information here.
Excellent ideas !! Thank you very much !!!!!!
The inventor of Qwest Bars grew up in my neighborhood. I went to school with his parents. His mom is a dear friend of mine
Love the vid! Would be awesome to find more woman in Canada that think and feel the same way..... We need more prepper Canadian ladies!!!
Loved it
First aid kit I take it is in the truck.
I wear a safety vest about 50 hours a week due to nature of employment but now carry one in the car so if have to leave the vechile for changing tire, walking, etc can be seen in both day/night. I recommend this as you prefer dark clothing
Headlamp is a must, a recent release from Nitecore is the NU20, same features as the TIP with same $30 pricetag, rechargable designed for runners/hikers. Very impressed with my first one and will pick up two more, need to add one to med kit as well.
For me a watch and SAK are must carries. Have a Juice KF4 (retired, discontinue model) but seldom used as the retired SAK Harvester (has a pruner blade instead of can opener) covers almost all cutting tasks I need. Most cuts are draw cuts and the pruner, haskbill blade just shines.
It's my goal to have my grandkids see this video. We teach the importance of preparedness beginning at age 5. Yes, I think it's important to know what to have on a person even if it's just a trip to the post office, local grocers etc... you never know what can happen and it's nice to have a comfortable way home even if your forced to walk. Always protect your belongings even if minimal. It's sustainability and one is never too young to learn, but comprehension makes a difference. Vechicals break down and the world is unpredictable and I'd feel they were safer in any situation if prepared for the unexpected. I hope everyone thinks on their situations and teach their little ones as well.
I wish there were more women like you in this world Jaime. You are truly one in a million. Well more like one in 10 million. ;)
Don't worry SDmacman there are tons of crazy chicks that should not have guns.
I love to listen to all your advices, 👌
Hi. I am actually really glad I found this video. Ive been looking for a female who share the same interest like I do. I like how those pants that can convert into shorts. Thats pretty neat. However, Im just wondering how many pockets does your shorts or pants have? Do you also have items in order to filter water in your bag? I think that would come in handy for your water bottle as well. I agree with the jewelry and just keeping your clothes as simple as possible. I own a lot of black clothing in my closet and Im totally fine with that. I would recommend vaseline and cottonballs to start a fire. It really does the trick right away. I have so many suggestions on starting a fire to keep you warm. Two is one and one is none. I just wish you had a bic lighter in your bag or something. You might also need a pepper spray just for back up and also tactical pen. Special training in using firearms and combat training and acquiring basic medical skills might come in handy as well and it fits just right for EDC. I would recommend bandana as well in your bag as well as some band aids and neosporin and insect repellant. Thats just my opinion. I would like to help other people out with this information. Thank you for this vlog. It really made me realize I was not the only one interested in EDC and prepping and tactical stuff in general. Something that actually makes sense and that matters.
I just ordered myself one! Thanks for posting!!
This was nice. Thankx. Will be watching more.
Really informative, and entertaining as well. A nice, easy-to-follow style, at a good even-paced speed. Very easy to follow.
Really enjoyed this video. I so agree with you about shoes. I buy the same shoes (Eco brand] every year and wear them year around. I can walk for long distances and be comfortable.
I've been packing my bag like a preper this whole time. I even have a swiss knife (which is pretty cheap, I need a new one).
Thank you
You go girl...LOL Thanks for sharing!
I have several bags from ebags, that are pacsafe, LOVE them!! They have so many practical features and pockets so you can organize the interior and not have a wallet etc. you can organize all within the bag.
Thank you for this. It came at the perfect time for me. I've been farming in some degree all my life (it's just the way people live where I'm from) but I'm new to prepping. Keep up the prepping videos especially the ones geared toward women.
Hehehe funny ive been carrying some things i need to update glad i saw this even today 3-17-20 i have the mag rod and life straw thanks more family listening now ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I’m glad I came across your channel.
Love this video, your very prepared
I have had a northface pair of shoes, I have worn every summer, for 7 years. They make great shoes.
Just found your videos this morning and subscribed after watching the first two, but still wasn't 100% onboard until you pulled out the Kimber. LOL
Thanks for all the great information, and THANKS for posting the links to the items you mention in the vids. I am always amazed at how many of this type of video I see where they never think to do that.
Outstanding video, even without the 45 cal. :-)
Love that messenger bag. I love that video would like to see more like that
great job thank you.
Thank you for the heads up on the bag and showing me there will be room in it ..for my Rugar lcp9 ..permit to carry as well as other necessities. I will be ordering one. Thanks Jamie.
Great video and great EDC bag. Thanks for sharing 👌🏾👍🏾
You guys are awesome. Thanks so much for sharing. :)
Finally! Someone else is concerned about purse security! I usually choose a purse that has some sort of anchor point I can use a small key lock to secure. I like your purse a whole lot
"oh yes, nearly forgot. I'm packin" nice ending 👍
Excellent!!!
Chacos Rock! Great secure sandals with nice arch support.
Thank you for the practical prepping.
Outstanding videos, you guys do a great job, very down to earth and very informative!
It's always odd running into the weird culture shock of seeing someone just randomly pulling a handgun out of a purse lol. Here in New Zealand handguns are pretty rare. I was just sort of mentally ticking off each aspect of your kit going "ok, have that, have that, that's a pretty good idea, where do I *get* one a them? SUDDENLY GUN!" lol. That said, your rationalizations around the subject made a great deal more sense than what I generally hear about the whole concept of going armed. Thank you for this video, it was definitely helpful :)
Here in Texas, EDC (every day carry) always refers to guns. So I was surprised that the video was about everything else except guns. (lol.) Thank you for being open-minded about it. In my circles, it's understood that carrying concealed keeps everyone safer. As another commenter said, it's only when the nut jobs get a gun that things go sideways - and when it does, it's always highly sensationalized in the MSM for political purposes. Thanks again for so graciously considering another perspective.
I’ve subscribed!! This is a brilliant video and I like the way you present yourself. Thanks so much for taking the time to teach and inform. Much love from Texas 🖤
Kick axx! LOVE the bag and pants. Tips are great. Inspiring me to refresh my bag.
Went and ordered myself a Pacsafe bag after watching this
Great video, Jaime! One doesn't even need to be a prepper to make use of all of those items. Just a smart way to live. Common sense gun ownership... so glad to see I'm not the only one that feels that way. Peace ~Lisa
Just misplaced my wallet for the very LAST time today!! Just got home & ordered the Pacsafe Metrosafe GII Shoulder Bag! Can't wait to get it! Then I checked out my wallet and realized I have the Pacsafe RFIDsafe V250 Anti-Theft RFID Blocking Travel Wallet!! BEST wallet I have ever had and it holds SO much! Thank you so much for all the great information! YOU ROCK! :-)
+THEBUSYBUG 👍🏻😊
I love your purse...it's my kind of fancy! I carry a Sig Sauer 9mm. I love your channel. Lots of great information, practical stuff for preppers and those that just have big families too. We are just starting our journey and really enjoy the information you share.
Great info ! Thanks so much for sharing. LOVE all your videos.
+Startipper - 👍🏻 Thanks!
Nice vid! Its always good to hear a woman's perspective about prepping topics.
Have not seen a clothes line in years. Nice
Great video Jamie! I have a small fanny pack with my basic EDC. It's in my vehicle but watching this makes me realize it should be on my person...and needs some tweaking. Also I am inspired by your minimalist wardrobe. I'm in MN so a bit different but the simple is best approach always works! I love that your channel is a mix of topics- animals, canning, preparedness, building items- all are important to any homestead. And your new format is wonderful, with diff topics on diff days and yes, shorter is better for most of us with busy lives. So happy to have found your channel and be a subscriber!
Welcome Laurie!
I loved the security feature of your purse or bag... awesome video cheers
Ty 😊
I carry almost the same stuff but I got to get me that bag, that's awesome!!!! I have a 44spl hallow points too! great video 👍👍👍
I love Larabars. I keep them close for me and my boys to save money, not stopping and buying snacks or other food. 💛🖤💛
Love this video. I have about the same stuff in my purse/car too.
I love it thank you
This is great! I have a bag full of emergency goodies that i leave in my vehicle! I need to add a few things thanks for the video! ~Trish
I keep thinking the same: "I need this, I need that" but with a limited budget and all...gotta be minimalist on some things!
I just ordered the purse and the wallet using your link. Thank you for sharing
I just order both the messenger bag and the wallet! Thanks so much for sharing! I have never been one to wear jewelry or carry a purse but that cross body messenger bag looks awesome. We also bought a couple of Go Pro Cameras (so I will video and share the arrive of my new EDC when it arrives). Jamie & Jeremy my husband and I have found your clips to be amazing, informative, and INSPIRING! We have been binge watching for the past 3 days since I found your channel and though we are newbies to youtube we are gonna give it a try and share the upcoming chapter in the story of our lives as we go Off-Grid & Under Ground.
