Cursing is out of satan's month! Why do it? Its a rhetorical question as it's something to think out! If I say something, which is rare I immediately apologise to the Lord! But, it's brilliant as you feel closer to God. Swearing is for this world and this world has fallen. George was convicted😊! I smoked weed all day and night for medical purposes. And I never got convicted over it as I thought it was helping me. Then one night as I was praying, I asked God if this offends you Lord please pluck it out of my heart. And the next day I woke up with such clarity, and had so much disdain for it that I said I do not want it in my life. I have suffered with anxiety for 20 years and for the last 10 I turned to weed as I thought it was helping. My anxiety was ruining my life and I used to beg God to take it away and he never did. And once I gave up weed I no longer wake up with insane anxiety anymore. He literally plucked it right out of my heart. And I used to think I couldn't handle anything unless I smoked. How wrong I was. How right HE was. And that's my testimony in short. ❤

@@tammy9497 I don't deny that she was personally convicted - that may very well be. But to take something from scripture and translate it into something which it doesn't say is just not ok.
I understand why though - christians as a whole are terrified of making mistakes which are often a belief formed in childhood for many. Many have been shamed for cursing in childhood and they then for the belief that cursing is so bad. They overemphasize that aspect because they have this subconscious fear of being shamed/scolded by parents.
I know very well how to listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit - it is Him who shows me how many are caught up in religion and an unhealthy fear of God where they project their fear of their parents unto a just but loving God.

Then when you "pick" a scripture out of the bible, you will be able to understand that scripture in its proper context. I agree with you however if we’re going by scripture it doesn’t outlaw certain words in the English language. Literally “curse” words like s**t just means feces, b***h means a female dog, f**k meaning to have sexual intercourse, d**n meaning to condemn etc. It has a lot to do with intent because words have power in that you could be using words to empower someone, tear them down, speak life into them etc. It’s certainly a nuanced topic I just think modern day Christians get western ideals mixed with the scriptures.

They lifted Him up in their testimony and that conviction George’s heart. I pray he continues to grow. Last thing, as Christians we tend to ask if something is or is not sin, to see if it’s ok to do. I'm planning on no food, no speaking (except for praying), no coffee, no phone, and no cigarettes (unfortunately that's another addiction I'm fighting) . I'm going to fast for 24 hours and just focus on God. Now that I am saved I am hyper aware of sin and I really want to do something that will help me fight the devil that whispers in my ear. I believe fasting, tuning out the devil, and communication with God will help in a huge way. Im asking for prayers to not just help with fasting but help me become closer to Christ and help me fight the demonic attacks that seemed to have picked up in severity since coming to Christ.

Trust me I have been with the Lord for a few years and I still have some issues. God helped me overcome my smoking and fornicating, partying, drinking, and the other sins, but there is always something deep rooted in my heart that pops up when I need to be sanctified by the Holy Ghost. But as long as you read your word and pray and keep your eyes on Christ things become easier, he said he will never leave us or forsake us. He is faithful.
I always remind myself no one said it was going to be easy, but in Christ we can have joy and peace through the storm.

It is because of Him that sin is uprooted, not because of my own willpower.
Controlling cursing in ones own power will just cause sin to pop up in other ways(overeating, passive/aggressive anger etc.).

I feel the same conviction I feel for myself as hearing another follower of Christ says it's gives me a spirit of confusion like okay why the curse words and I'm not hyper focused on what you've said vs the message now! But each time I say bad language and I still battle with it daily but whenever I do say it I immediately feel conviction and I believe that's God's voice we hear because it's such a unexplainable powerful urge feeling it's really a beautiful thing the feel that to feel the correction of God within us it keeps us on track God is such a patient God! 🙏🏼😩 Awesome reaction Nick we love you man Keep walking with Christ and spreading the Light towards God in every way!! Brother!

I was really proud of him. He saw where he was wrong and he became humble and he made his own video later apologizing and asking his viewers to be patient while he cleans up his mouth. His videos since have changed. The Lord used this podcast.
I never ever watched his videos because of the swearing. This came up and his videos have changed.

I'm so glad they challenged him, that was the spirit. May Holy spirit set a guard over his mouth, I know another well known minister who cusses and it does make you cringe. He hasn't been convicted but I'm still praying for him 🙏🏾 😔

It's only by Gods conviction that a person can break free from that "everyday speak" that people have gotten accustomed to. George felt it, the words spoken touched his heart and soul, realizing what it is and that it's something that is not a blessing, certainly not for others, but also is a curse and a hindrance for his own life, basically holding Gods blessing back, until he grows in that respect. Great video and may God bless and continue to speak through those ladies, reaching many people before it's too late.

We are are called to ministry. A building doesn’t matter. As His followers of Him, we are called to go and make disciples sharing the good news. No matter what age or position in life, we must stay on fire and preach the gospel at home, work, school, etc. I love y’all❤️✝️

16 Are you still so dull?” Jesus asked them.
17 “Don’t you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body?
18 But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them.
19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts-murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.
20 These are what defile a person; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them.”
      Matthew 15:16-20 (NIV)

Thank you for this video Nick. This topic is so much more important than it's given credit. We all suffer with frustration at work, and myself will cuss under my breath, and still I'm convicted. If it's not good it's not of God. We need to hear this. Again thank you.

    God disciplines those He loves.
God calls us to correct people in love and that’s what they did. He’s purifying His bride and it’s a loving rebuke. Praise God for those girlies!

“A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner.”

Yes! The whole thing seemed staged and she was super cocky when she was about to “rebuke” him. Maybe, she should worry about reducing the amount of make up on her face and learning some humility.

Hats off to the girls for pointing it out in such a respectful way!

    Proverbs 4:24 KJV
Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.
