  • Take a walk around the Normandy WW2 batterie site at Longues-sur-Mer and get a close-up view of the massive guns which stand in its huge casemates - the same guns which have stood in place since 1944!
Longues-sur-Mer is a cliff top batterie which engaged with the Allied fleet out to sea on D-day June 6, 1944 and has the scars to prove it.
In this video we take you on a complete walkthrough tour of all four gun casemates, the 'movie-star' Fire Control Post, and some of the defensive structures put in place to prevent attacks on the site. You'll also love our amazing drone footage from above the batterie which gives you incredible views of the extensive complex.
The Longues-sur-Mer batterie is a must-visit location on any trip to Normandy - if you haven't been yet, make sure it's on your bucket list now!

War is started by bad men. War is ended by good men. Rest in peace to all the people that died during this war!!!
