That's why they said citizens could not be charged with loitering or trespassing while doing so. As long as the citizen behaves on a lawful manner, the public employees have to deal with it. In some cases all or at least some of the employees at city halls also have to swear an oath to uphold and support the Constitution. That means they should be supportive of the citizens exercising their 1st amendment rights.

As much as I agree with the first Amendment, that lady was personally uncomfortable with you guys sticking cell phone cameras in her face. The type of recordings that come from hidden cameras that buildings have put out have a much different pictures, and usually are so full of grain that an expert has to look at the video under a special machine to make out the images. I think I'd feel the same way that lady did. @@williamgregory5011 It's not my business to know what's going on in schools that are not in my community. My job is to know what's going on in my kids schools. I have no vote for the school committee's in other towns and cities therefore I have no say. As the 10th Amendment states, "“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” My belief is the education of children is reserved to the people, therefor if education is going to be public it gets handled by the lowest political level and that's city/town politics. Keep in mind no one has a gun to your head to send them to a public school. There's always private and home schooling. All you people say you want freedom and limited government power, but when things aren't the way they like they want a powerful government to make broad sweeping change. Just like it said on the 1st Continental dollar instead of "In God We Trust" it says "Mind Your Business" Sounds like your the one who is confused by gender identity, you probably want to head into school so can find your identity because you clearly want to know what they have to say. I really don't care if everyone's kids eat tide pods as long as my kids don't.

As much as I agree with the first Amendment, that lady was personally uncomfortable with you guys sticking cell phone cameras in her face. The type of recordings that come from hidden cameras that buildings have put out have a much different pictures, and usually are so full of grain that an expert has to look at the video under a special machine to make out the images. I think I'd feel the same way that lady did. There are so many creepy people in the world today, you have no idea who is doing what, and lets face it, you are not the most clean cut looking individuals on earth. You were allowed to roam around without anyone stopping you, etc. you should of been happy with that. I also feel if you'd of put down the cameras that lady would of answered your questions or gotten someone that would have. I agree with the gentleman that went up the steps in what he said in the ladies defense and she even asked you nicely. I believe it was her right not to be videoed via two guys with cell phones while being asked questions. There is a double standard here. Yes, she is a public servant, but she also deserves respect and her wishes granted which is also a guarantee under the first amendment.
