I subscribed to the 6061 website last year and would highly recommend it for people struggling with tig welding.
I had previously been trying to learn to tig weld using all the great videos that are out there, but the results were mostly poor, and I didn’t feel I knew what I was doing, or how to adapt to different joints or metal thicknesses. The 6061 method is carefully structured, and quick and simple to follow. I have run through the method on 3 mm (1/8”) aluminium, and then successively thinner sheet. Now, on real-world joints on real projects, not coupons, many of my welds look really good, with full penetration. Plus it’s clear to me what settings to use and why.
Thanks Aaron, you've enabled me to fit learning a difficult skill into my limited spare time. I think you have a great approach. I think your subscription fee is very reasonable, and I recouped that many times over, just by following your fabrication tricks, and not falling into the trap of buying a load of new tools.

Your videos are super entertaining and informative. Somehow you manage to do it without speaking at all. I don’t mind people talking, but this way it’s always straight and to the point.
