I laughed so hard when Natalie started crying when she found out they were competing with their partner because the emotional part didnt even start yet, this is gonna be awesome.
I feel horrible for laughing too but cried emergency after because it's also so sad..
That episode was a real kick in the teeth.
@@janel1386 I laughed so hard too but 5 min later I'm crying with her lmao
Yeah, when she said “Oh, these two girls are gonna be besties” I went “oh no 😀🥲😭”
I was like - she is so smart! She realised how devastating it's going to get before seeing the actors act it out.
never saw more fitting title summarizing my experience with this show
Magnificent titling 👌
No kidding I felt like I got mugged too
But you keep watching haha.
Nat instantly going from 0 to 100 instantly when finding out the marbles rules is why everyone loves this channel.
yes. Natalie's reaction made me cry again.
@@imuawarriors
I feel sick for laughing through the whole video.
Precisely, that she goes from 0 to 100 in 1 sec. which clearly shows that she is acting and forcing the reaction.
@@alejandroroldanortega819 go away
@@alejandroroldanortega819 If she's acting, she makes Kathy Bates and Anthony Hopkins look like amateurs and I am down to watch anything she's playing this role in.
Ali calling Sang-woo 'hyung' while looking for him breaks my heart. It means “older brother who I respect.” 😥

The moment I have been waiting for, dont feel bad Natalie a lot of us cried with this show, love your reactions.
at episode 6, tears always running down my cheeks, it's so emotional
6 absolutely f'in wrecked me (and most people)
I was depressed about it, stoic but depressed
I've never cried because of a tv show or movie. What's wrong with you? It's not real they are actors
@@coyotefever105 you need professional help. Seriously get help
Episode 6 might be the most expertly crafted single episode of television I’ve ever seen. “Thanks for playing with me” will haunt me forever. Everything came together so perfectly-acting, writing, directing, art direction, sound design. A perfect, unforgettable, remarkable thing.
It would be so easy for it to be bad. It's really blunt and kind of predictable with it's emotional manipulation, but something about the writing and the cinematography makes it a masterpiece instead. It's a work of art.
@@waveymattdavey The beats are earned. For every bit of predictability, there are small, surprising moments to balance. And the predictable moments are weaponized against the audience. We all know that Gi-hun, Sang-woo and Sae-Byeok must survive. Watching how that plays out, like the hands of a great ticking clock winding inevitably down, sucks the air right out of your lungs. Hope dies here. It’s the work of those in complete command of the medium.
@@Lady_Vengeance perfectly put.
@@waveymattdavey I feel like the acting style is just a bit different too. I don't know if that's directing or whatever. At least with the girls they seem very real where it seems like a lot of other actors really like to try to convey it. I'm no expert by any means but it just felt unusually honest.
Yep, it's masterful because it enters with so much promise, reveals Gi-huns inner character when he didn't abandon the old man to die as the odd man out, tragically reveals the nature of the game is to destroy who you trust, and then the incredible back and forth as he has to take advantage of the old man, get exposed for it, and then be forgiven for that very same kindness that started this game. "Thanks for everything" just haunts me. Karmic beauty for flawed but kind people.
"I wanna see the married couple play because I'm sadistic"
No, Nat. You know damn well that it would break your heart and you would sob in an instant. Your not sadistic, you're a masochist. 🤣
6:48 - It is actually quite easy to remove a smallpart of then top of an egg and insert something like that pill with a stick down to the middle of it before boiling it. Once boiled, the missing egg shell piece can even be put back into place to make it seem whole.
9:33 - Sae-byeok in Korean means: Dawn. So, Gi-hun is probably thinking that it doesn't suit her because her disposition is less then sunny!
you’ve blown my mind with this egg comment 🤯
@@NatalieGoldReacts Paused and came here to tell you that you can actually remove the egg entirely with a syringe, mix and add seasonings/minced fillings, reinject it, and boil it to blow someone's mind with an omelette inside a hardboiled egg.
But also you're my favourite reaction channel on CZcams. Your empathy and intelligence are always a welcome treat in my feed.
There was a video about counterfeiting in China and one thing that was counterfeited that I thought was the most interesting was eggs.
I like the idea of putting it in the chicken lol
I dunno if they put that message in before the egg was boiled. Wouldn't that just ruin the paper? The ones working the kitchen would notice the guard tampering with an egg as they're making them (in large quantities, so even trying to retrieve a specific egg in the pot would look suspicious). I would guess they boiled the eggs, then snuck one out, bored a small hole on the bottom, and inserted the note inside the egg. It looked pretty hard boiled so the yolk wouldn't have messed it up, and the shell is rigid enough to do all this without anything breaking. And it wouldn't be necessary to conceal the hole, either. They just need to get the egg over to the doctor at this specific moment so he can read it at his own leisure.
That actress, Sae-Byeok, this was her first time in an on-screen role. She is amazing.
To be honest, I was crying much harder watching you react to Episode 6 than when I initially saw it. The episode is devastating to the heart and mind obviously, but I think there's something to be said about the shared experience. Glad you made it through, and thank you for sharing your reactions with us!
Oh I feel that! I cry way harder when other people start crying
The life of an empath lol
Saaame.
Seriously, you've cried more seeing her crying than when you first saw the episode? When she started crying, I felt cringe. I do not understand the success of such overactive reaction channels. There are channels and people who react in more authentic and natural ways.
@@alejandroroldanortega819 Ok? Don't watch her and move on. None of us asked if you liked her reactions did we?
Episode 6 is probably one of my favourite episodes of any show. Ever.
So brilliantly made, so brilliantly acted. The music, the pacing, the cinematography - all of it is amazing.
I still tear up every time I see clips of the girls' scenes.
Me too. I m okay with everyone else, but the girls still make me cry each time I see it.
@@blackmoor40k I could barely rewatch the scene with the girls out of frustration tbh, knowing that (spoilers) they chose to kill her off in the finale, and she never gets to see her brother again, while gi-hun, whose story is far less compelling, far less politically and socially relevant and far less impactful (for me at least) emotionally, gets to go on and become a cartoon character all of a sudden
@@blackmoor40k I honestly was more sad about Ali dying then Ji-Yeong we just got to know him better and his struggles 8).
@@amellowblue That's life, Ali's struggles are as politically and socially as relevant as Sae-byeoks but he died just the same.
Jiyeong's death was a pure act of love and selflessness... and that is why it hurts the most for me.
26:02 I love how she lost her shit in 0.2 seconds
*Natalie starts crying*
Me on CZcams: THIS is what I paid for
I love the fact that the only one to win his game legitimately, without cheating or concession, is the guy who would kill anyone in that room for a nickel….
Holy shit you're right
He lives a simple life, but without the pretention of "civilisation".
I guess there *is* honor among thieves
I'm 100% with you on that episode. It was the absolute highlight of the whole show to me. The acting, the drama, the music as well.
Especially how the protagonist lived through this scene where he betrays the old man was fucking heartbreaking.
A real turning point to the character. No spoilers here, but he doesnt go back to the naive, light headed guy of episode 1.
I'm so happy that you managed not to have episode 6 spoiled. I watched the show pretty soon after it came out so I managed to have a fresh experience, but the sheer magnitude of content that has been created around it has been unprecedented, seriously spoilers for this show are harder to avoid than they were for Endgame
Also, since no one has mentioned it yet, during this episode you can hear Ali call Sang-Woo "Hyung" which means "older brother." It is used to refer to one's actual older brother, or to an older male friend you deeply trust. Ali trusted Sang-Woo like a brother up until the very end.
That’s so true LMAO Probably because it’s a series and there’s a lot more plot points, as well as the memes coming out from this show
I had episode 9 spoiled for me after I watched episode 4 so a certain part of episode 6 didn't have the impact on me it should have.
I’ve actually never seen a spoiler for this show. People talk about it a lot, but they usually just say, “Have you seen Squid Game? It’s crazy!”
I knew Gganbu would be devastating for you. It's so well done and the fact it's so heart-wrenching is just a testament to the craft of everyone involved in making it. Hope it's been enjoyable and looking forward to your reaction to the rest of the show!
34:32 This is the exact moment when this show hits you the hardest. Great reaction Nat!
Everyone's hearts have been broken during Episode 6, at these 3 moments in particular (25:54, 34:29 and 36:00)
But out of all the Reaction CZcamsrs I watch who did Squid Game, Natalie is the one that cried the most...
And it's a good thing, it proves you are good-hearted.
You don't need to hide it either, we watch your videos to see these reactions.
I was absolutely amazed and shocked by how emotional I got during episode 6. I cried harder than I EVER have in my entire life. Harder than any funeral or death I’ve lived through, or any sad thing that’s happened to me. I wept as if my soul was leaving my body. I barely recognized the sounds that were coming out of me. I suppose it’s a testament to how well-written the show and the characters are that we cared about them so much!
This show was one of the greatest pieces of entertainment I’ve experienced in my 39 years. So glad you got to react to it!
You need professional help. It's just a tv show.
Relax grow up. Get some balls
@@mikemorgan2211 Heh heh All fair points from you, I’m sure. I’ll keep your to-do list in mind for the future.
I don't think anyone made it through episode 6 without breaking down but your reactions were so touching. The second you realized what was about to happen it all hit you, never change Nat. :)
I'm still confused about how Squid Game made me feel. When I got to episode 6 I was actually crying so much that I started hyperventilating💀 ain't no show, movie or book has EVER gotten me that attached to characters and I'm a Danganronpa fan bruh
Same. Even now after watching this reaction I had some tears.
I haven’t watched a Korean series or movies that hasn’t made me cry.
I cried like that once or twice in Your Turn to Die. Have you played that? (Also a DR fan)
Sounds like a case of the big sad
I might have laughed but i also started freaking out and almost crying when I heard they were competing against each other. He chose the old man to help save him from being eliminated only to find out he would have to kill him to win. It ran a spear through my heart because I already saw the outcome.
gi-hun says sae-byeok's name doesn't fit her because it means "dawn". i love your reactions!!
This is exactly how we played tug-of-war and won in field day literally every year, even if we lost in everything else. Loved this episode.
Please, please pretty please watch ARCANE ....its a masterpiece of animation, storytelling and the musical soundtrack kicks ass ...in my humble opinion, the best show of 2021 !!!
I second this suggestion!
*of 2021... but yeah.
@@WernerEdgar lol, thanks for the correction.
I third this suggestion! It blew me away how good it was!
I see that it's based on League of Legends. Do you need to know anything about the universe before watching it or can you can into it fully blind?
One of the most interesting things that I noticed about episode 6 is that all of the marbles games are micro versions of the events that led main characters to join Squid Game in the first place. Gi-hun being a terrible gambler, Sang-woo cheating Ali out of his marbles, Ali trusting someone to deal fairly with him then being betrayed, ect.
I'm sure I'm not the only one to notice. I just don't see it brought up very often. Thank you for the video!
Based on the way Nat's handling part 2, she's definitely going to need therapy after part 3. haha!
Fact!
Not really though....quality of the show falters significantly after this episode, specially with the VIPs
This episode is definitely the highlight of the entire season
@@anantsharma6365 Seriously its become a complete cliche to diss the VIPS. To me there's nothing particular wrong with their acting, it fits in with their personalities and outlook. And actually the last two games are pretty intense too.
I haven't even seen the video yet, but girl I feel you.
Ugly crying is such a recognizable reaction to episode 6. It really caught me by surprise as nothing upto that point had made me think I'd have that sort of reaction to the show.
37:51 They did reveal who survived between the married couple. If you listen to the announcer when Il Nam suddenly pulls out one more marble (after saying he was out of marbles) they announce which one of the married couple lost.
26:48 - "The married couple wrecked me more than anything." And the only thing we only really know about them is that they're married. We're never given a real backstory about them.
I imagine the producers of this show secretly invested in tissues knowing people like Natalie would be watching.
Always love watching your reactions, Natalie! Very entertaining and very wholesome. You’re such a fun person to watch. Please keep up the awesome videos, and mad props to your editor! Those edits helped in the fun! Can’t wait for the next Part! 🤟😎

I absolutely love your genuine realness Natalie!! It’s why I always tune into your videos!👍
Thank you for sharing! I cried like a little baby during episode 6; These actors and the writing is just impeccable.
Thank you so much, the work you put into keeping this channel rolling and keeping us laughing, smiling crying and coming back....Cameron
Oooh yeah, absolutely love these edits Cameron! Hats off!
This... this is the reason why I love your reaction videos. Your genuine emotions let me relive the emotions that I had when I first watched whatever it is you're watching. Stay Golden Nat!
I watched this at work, cried a little with you in my office, thank you closed door, and now I'm eating dinner and rewatching. I love how empathetic you are, you definitely help bring out the feels more.
Seeing your reaction at 26:08 totally broke me. Like seeing a heartbreaking moment is hard enough, but when you see someone panic and get upset as well; it's rough. Hopefully you are doing okay now.
I wanna hug Nat and everyone who has gone through this episode, it was really tough to get through.
I love your genuine reaction. Real tears, you're really enjoying the show and expressing it by being so connected to it.

I was hoping you were going to sneak this series in somewhere in your schedule before the mania for it ended. Really enjoying your reaction, and don't worry, I'm pretty sure everybody ugly cried during episode 6, its just so damn good.
New subscriber - I am honestly just as entertained with the editing as I am with the show. I literally "rewind" anytime I miss one to see what it was. You guys are a great team.
Glad the married couple part got that much of a reaction. If you pay very close attention you can always notice they are with each other in all past games. Particularly the sugar shape game which they never get any screen time for, but when listening to the announcer you can hear "Number 69 pass, Number 70 pass" immediately following each other. Meaning that whoever actually finished first refused to turn their shape in until after the second one finished as well.
Even though I've watched the show 3 times and saw a ton of reactions, episode 6 still breaks me. Not a single chance I'm not bawling.
I'd recommend you to watch Arcane; it's an incredible show with complex characters and amazing story! It's animated, but it's one of the best animations you'll see. It's on par with Into The Spiderverse's animation or maybe even better. It's based on the game League of Legends but you don't need any background knowledge of the game at all to enjoy it!
I love watching your videos Nat! You bring so much joy and laughter and emotion! I’ve followed your videos since you started with Star wars and LOTR. Thanks and hugs from Sweden.
Great job Cameron. Great editing!
FINALLY a YT reacter who has matched my level of ugly crying for this episode.
Love watching your channel Nat!
Korean dramas make me cry so hard, I don't know how they're so good at making me feel empathy for the characters. I'm glad other people can experience that kind of overwhelming emotion for a TV show, I haven't felt as much for other shows or movies these days.
I started my Kdrama journey a few weeks ago with Coffee Prince and i already think it will be hard to beat. Currently watching the incredibly highly rated Goblin, didn't hook me as much so far after 6 episodes tbh. I added like 15 shows to my Netflix watch list.
@@piccolo_bsc did you recognize the actor from The Goblin as the recruiter guy from the subway?
I will say they've gotten a lot better than they used to be. They used to be horribly predictable and very trophy and I feel like the stories weren't super original but they've gotten better. Korean dramas were very formulaic almost like boy bands which makes sense when you see how condensed the entertainment industry was there. I would just classify the older stuff as emotional pornography. Pretty good if you want to get in your emotions
@@jinxtacy Yes and i was a bit disappointed that he didn't have a bigger role since he is such a famous and awesome actor.
idk why Kdrama is soo underrated on western media but kpop is so overrated
Cameron absolutely rocks, the editing is great and definitely makes me laugh! 😂
A Natalie, you make me laugh a well, but I also appreciate how much you conect an care about the stories. I cry easily as well and I need someone to share my feelings with, so thank you for being so opem amd vulnerable! ❤

Episode 6 broke me to My core. And now, weeks later, i'm crying again watching Nat's reaction...
Kudos to Cameron for editing this episode, it was rough on Natalie but probably kinda tough on you too.
Great vid! Been looking forward to this one!
WOW...... Your emotions swung hard in about two seconds, such an amazing raw reaction. I hope you are able to finish the series Natalie.
I've watched the show, I know what's coming but when Natalie broke down when she learned the rules of marbles my eyes started to swell and my lip started to quiver. They say laughing is contagious but when Natalie breaks down bad I break with her. I think its because its so genuine. Love this channel! Thanks for the content Natalie!
I think what makes squid game so impactful (at least for me) is that I think anyone who watches knows someone (maybe themselves) who would actually participate in something exactly like squid game if given the chance if it meant completely erasing all their debts and getting a fresh start or giving them financial security for the rest of their lives.
I know people I would group as Contestants, and Shape Face Soldiers, and also a couple of the rich f'ers funding the thing.
I would play these games and I would do what Sang Woo did to Ali in a heartbeat if that's what it took to make it to the next round
It's Capitalism baby, you're already playing!
Only suicidal people will play this.
@@dibbidydoo4318 that's not true at all, if that was the case all the people that came back to participate would be. The thing about squid games is, it's all a gamble, and most of the players are hardcore gamblers. They're not thinking oh I might die, they're thinking oh this is the time I win and my life gets better.
The edits are indeed always amazing.
Thank you Natalie for putting yourself through this. This was an amazing reaction! I felt so much pain in episode 6, that was unbelievable.

I just did episode 6 right before watching this, and yeah, I feel like i've been smacked.
The ending to 4, then 5 and 6 has finally properly hooked me.
God even rewatching episode 6, it’s 2 in the morning and I’m blowing my nose and cryin😂😂 the writing and acting is just out of this world
It's funny that you said you would manipulate just like Sang Woo did but then you said you hated him lol. They did an excellent job with his character because he's made out to be an antagonist but really he's just doing what millions of people would do in this situation.
Episode 6 destroyed all of us. The acting was MASTERFUL for everyone in this episode. Every pairing except the asshole-team was tragic and heartbreaking in its own way.
On an interesting note - only the asshole played fairly to win. He didn't try to cheat in any way, won fair and square.
The girls' pairing hit me harder than the others, because the younger girl was pretty much the only "innocent" person in the whole game. She doesn't have debt, hasn't cheated anyone. She joined the game because she didn't have anything to look forward to. It was also the first time that Sae-byeok shows any real emotion in the game. It was like she gained a little sister only to immediately lose her.
This was also the true turning point for Sang-woo when we realize that he will sacrifice anyone and anything to win, even his friends. Everyone hates him, but he is honestly doing the "smart" thing. He knows that his only way to live on the outside again is to win all that money and pay off his debts, and that if he doesn't, his mother loses her shop because he used it as collateral for his loans.
I'll be interested to hear your thoughts on the social commentary after you finish the last episode. I think it's one of the reasons why Squid Game hits so hard for people everywhere.
Wonderful edits as always Cameron!
Been waiting for your reaction to this since it came out! So much love to you and your channel♥️
omg I cried when I watched ep. 6
Your reactions are amazing!
Right there with you, jumped into the binge fest not knowing what to expect. Semi-cringe on everything going on, but slowly unfolding the human dilemas of the show. The Raw emotion these episodes bring out, is just amazing. The stories are so much more layered than anything coming out of American film/TV, that these Korean shows deserve their hype.
i love nose-blowings and tears though. I have very hard time expressing my own emotions and it’s nice seeing someone else who does
One of my favorite things about watching your reactions is how deeply you feel everything. It is a very admirable trait ❤
