Chuckling to myself, my proper pedantic piping pal😜
I’ve found some pipe tunes written that were impossible to find the beat! I’ll see if I can find one and share it!
I really appreciate your musical training!

It seems I have forgotten a lot. It is getting frustrating starting from scratch but I guess it is best and hopefully i can get rid of any bad habits.

I find it often best to first incorporate the "new" technique is a tune you haven't played before, so you're not bringing over old muscle memory. Once you can play the embellishment in the new melody well, then I'd try fixing it in the existing repertoire.

No, I tried in this video: czcams.com/video/ZVMLoKwHfH8/video.html Better reeds actually did worse than the terrible reeds it came with...

Not related to this video but can you please tell me how to stop playing an open C? I can't keep my low G finger down and miss it a lot.

Every time you recognize you're playing an open C, play that particular note change 5 times in a row with a correct C and don't move on until you can get that 5 times is a row. Then play just that phrase (about two measures) and make sure it's still closed. Ultimately, it's about being somewhat relentless with yourself about this particular note change until you've reprogrammed yourself. Best of luck!
