- [Extended Cut] versions of the episodes feature longer technical discussions, how-to's, and more "honest" footage of the project - my failures and all. Hope you enjoy!
Join me as I build the perfect daily driver out of a F55 / F56 / F57 Mini Cooper S for under $3K. In this episode, we'll add more noise, more power, and more goose bumps. We're adding an exhaust, intake, resonator delete, and a JB4 tune.

here for part three. 👍#2
Thoroughly enjoyed the video! Educational! Well edited! And you were not obnoxious! Clear and concise! My only complaint was the music was a little loud…. I don’t know about editing videos, is there way to lower the volume? Thanks for the upload! Keep them coming!
Change the charge/boost pipes. With the burger tune, you will bust the pipes. You’re fine when using map 0; otherwise, that upgrade is a must. Also, stock intercooler can’t handle that extra boost. Your engine will run hot. Upgrade that up.
wishing content upgrade turbo for mini b48
charge pipe and intercooler should be next
I'm running out of budget =( but yes, ideally!
Can’t wait for part 3. Btw do you think you can install the Dinan intake resonator delete without removing everything?
I wouldn't recommend it - I complain a bit about it in the video, but it wasn't THAT big of a hassle. It's pretty necessary in my opinion to remove all the panels/shields to do a proper install without bending/breaking anything. If anything, trying to take the stock pipe out without removing the panels would probably be a bigger pain in the neck.
@@MasterOfNoneMechanic sounds good. I just found out my car might have other issues. I have this engine rattle that, based on what I found on the forums, has something to do with the oil pump. I'm gonna have to take the car in to get it checked out first. Btw, do you have an IG for your channel/car?
Hi!
Great video!
Have you had any issues with the JB4 "module" on the battery?
Thanks
Nope, not at all! Thanks!
