Remember that we've been looking for a rental car to get around Ireland? You know, we were too young to get one, and so we have to take buses now instead. But we learned that bus riding in Ireland is lots of fun, and so we thought it's the perfect time to put out a cover of the great Hollies' song "Bus Stop". In our opinion one of the songs that truly catches the essence of the melodic early 60s beatmusic songwriting style.
Also quite a number of our fans kept asking when we would eventually upload that song to CZcams, because they have already heard it at our life shows or when we played it as a duo on London radio shows last summer.
Well, no more waiting, here it is - again with live tracks from Michael Mozeth on bass and Philipp Wolf on drums.

On the occasion of the 80th birthday of Alan Clarke, who sang the lead of the original, I am so pleased to see another generation revitalize one of the best pop music compositions of that time. Very nicely done.
I totally agree with the previous comment, I too am nearly 70 and it's great to see and hear these young lasses keeping the oldies alive in more ways than one !

LOVED your video. I was a big Hollies fan in my twenties, and that's the same great group that gave us people like Graham Nash. Today I am 74-years old, and I am constantly worrying about losing the great music of my youth. But seeing the two of you do this song justice really gave me hope for the future. Our music is in good hands.

I am with you on that. Autotune killed the radio star. And if l may be more cynical the sisters will never cover Billie EyElash. They just don't have that doped on XanaX sound in them.

I think Autotune should be freaking OUTLAWED. In my opinion, it is the single worst "musical improvement" I have ever heard of in my entire life, and I am 74-years old.
Being nearly 74 myself I find myself listening to a number people like MonaLisa Twins who are real musicians whether covering old songs or singing their own. They give me hope for the future of music, I’m encouraging my grands kids to listen real music not the crap they have now that passes as music. Thankfully they’re listening!
The REALLY wonderful thing about the Twins (apart from their fabulous talent and sheer gorgeousness) is that they don't take THEMSELVES at all seriously.
But have TOTAL respect for their CRAFT.

To all the doubters: Having children is a wonderful thing, they bring joy into your life. To have children and to promote their talents is incomparably better because they bring joy to the WORLD! Just like the Mona Lisa Twins.

Another impeccable cover by the Twins. The professional polish on experience shows. I was around and at the critical teen age at the time of this song's original release in 1966 by soon to be so successful Hollies when it was flogged to death on the radio. Using the new medium of this epoch bringing the fun & feel with their signature sound to a whole new generation so desperately in need of it. Definitively the most appealing cover of this song I have *ever* heard. Loved it. Two thumbs up.

I just love this daft video and fantastic rendition of the Hollies classic. Dad is superb on the bass and the Twins are funny and charming as usual and musically as good as the original, while adding some creative embellishments of their own. A super, super performance all around.

I love this song. Adore this video. It always makes me smile. The cover is absolutely the best I've ever heard; no question. The video, simple though it appears, is pure genius. Mona popping up with the daft expression and 'bus' pasted to her forehead makes me snort with laughter every single time. Brilliant!

I've always liked this song for the poetry of the lyrics.
In a video full of craziness, the most crazy has got to be Mona's dance in the first chorus (around 35 seconds in). It's a bit of inspired deadpan lunacy. I absolutely love the sound of this performance, but the video is just a hilarious bonus. The MonaLisa Twins are a treasure.

Yes the music is at least as good as the original, but the showmanship, mastering another half-century of technology, really lends these favorites a second lease on life.
I think that’s why so many of the original artists have praised the Twins. Their covers are a celebration of the original, not just an excuse to show off their own style.
50 years ago this song was my big favorite with "The Hollies". Now it's my present favorite in your very fresh, superpositive and funny version. I 'm playing it all the time, makes me feelgood. Love it!!!
