I’m a Tamilian, no actor in Tamil cinema let alone Indian cinema, maybe even Hollywood has the work ethic and dedication of Vikram! Truly an inspirational actor, wears his heart on his sleeve in every role! DEFINITELY CHECK OUT SAAMY, DHOOL, DHILL these are cop movies in his younger days that he is famous for; he just had an aura, a presence, a swagger, a MASSSSS about him that very few nowadays can recreate!!! In the film “I” he was a bodybuilder at 110 kgs and physically starved himself to play the beast role at 35 kgs. No one would even go close to doing that🔥 🔥 🔥🤙🏽

Really FUN movies of his to watch would be saamy, dhool and dhill. he was really in his prime in these movies.
Fun fact: Vikram acted as the antagonist in Raavanan (tamil) and as the protagonist in Raavan (Hindi) which wer shot simultaneously. The man really has a range.
You will LOVE Deiva Thirumagal!! Try not to cry. Also in pithamagan. I hate this movie only because it was so good and sent me into depression for a week.

I am north indian my first introduction to Chiyaan Vikram Sir was Aparchit in my childhood since then I was watched a ton of his film dubbed, with subtitles, without substitle, I just love how is changes himself in every other movie. First thing it's pronounced like "Chee - yaan" and the Vikram part is perfect. He's more of like a mix of Christian Bale and Tom Hardy. Fact: He lost around 30kg of body weight from 75kg and again gained around 45kg for three different portrayal in a single movie ("I") within a year.
If you ask him to die for a role, he is up for it. Such a dedication. Truly inspiring.

That doesn't make sense for me. Kamalhassan is director, dancer as well as musician. In terms of acting I prefer Vikram far ahead. And their age difference is less than Kamalhassan and his brother Charuhassan, so not really different generation.

Pithamagan and Sethu are must watch movies. In particular Pithamagan where acting Performances by Vikram and Surya were close to flawless. The story is also a very touching one. You should watch and do a review on these 2 movies 😁
