Nice tear down. I have one of these mugs and it's interesting to see the internals. As for 2-hr battery life, that's a stretch - it's more like < 45 min. It is pretty cool to have your tea/coffee always at the right temperature, though (as long as you don't like it really hot as it's capped at 145).

Thank you! Was able to disassemble mine without any damage based on your video. To do it you need to free the torxs on bottom a little, keeping them couple of turns to push the inner metal ouside of shell. Once shell moved, lid can be used to pull it outside.
Agreed. Not sure why he didn’t just try to push it out too. It just slides right out. No damage whatsoever. This video would be better titled: “How to unnecessarily destroy your Ember mug”.
