- This is my brothers 2007 Yamaha YZF R6! I go into details of the specs on the bike and some of the features that it has. Also included on the bike are aftermarket levers, a carbon fiber windshield and a test pipe. There will be a lot more videos of the bike on the channel along with our 2007 Honda CBR600RR with POV drives and mountain cruises!

Thanks!
Lovely bike. Think I'll be getting one of these when my current PCP deal runs out. Love it.
thank you for the Awesome review!
Your videos are very informative. Thank you !
Really want a bike like this. Nice review!
this review would even make YummiR6 proud. nice review I have a R3 and someday I like to move up to a R6
So did you?
@@slimguy94 He probably bought the mustang in his pfp instead
So sweet description ...thank you
Would you review my 2006 R6 which is full bolt ons everything except motor work.
Also does he have a power commander or ECU flash?
Hi I'm a first time buyer looking to get into riding. I've done quite a bit of research on different bike models also comparing early 2000's yzf r6 carburetor vs newer fuel injected bikes. In your opinion which would be a better choice performance wise? I hear carburetors are easy to adjust but usually need a fair bit of tweaking where as fuel injected it does everything for you. Also in terms of power, handling, acceleration would you say that the newer bikes are better compared to the older ones?
Nice review
R6 2007 is the best! Greetings from Indonesia 👊🏼
Love this R6 bike hope to get one this year
3 years later, still loving this bike!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I'm sure hahah hope I can get one this summer!!
Whats your inseam size bro, i need to know
Solid review thanks man
Thanks!
Really interested in buying an R6 and this just reassured me. thank you
No problem. I love the bike!
Samir Abdullah same
My brother might het one of these for $500.. only problem it’s been in a accident has a cracked cilinder head... should he get ot
hello would love to buy one....can I get one for that 5000 you said?
Beautiful bike. Hopefully this will be my next bike after my ninja 300
Same here, next summer she will be mine :)
I have a little experience riding and I’d like to get an R1 at some point but I’m gonna start with an R6
waoh dude howd you record that one part when you are riding and while the camera was revolving around you
HiTechKing drone probably
It’s a 360 swivel mount for go pro. Sits on the center of his helmet and circles around him. Prolly wore it for 1 clip which is why you didn’t see it on the third person shot.
Hey buddy, just want to ask you about the test pipe, did you custom made it or you bought it and did you take out the catalytic converter ?
The bike had the mid pipe when I bought it. I believe it is the M4 kit
2:27 is it just me or on the top left the rim is bent? or look at 2:35 top left rear rim, it looks bent!
The rim sticker is what you're seeing. The rim is ok.
I’m late lol but I’m looking into a 50th anniversary 2006 R6 for sale at $7,000 in CA. Would you say it’s a good deal or is it too overpriced. It in excellent condition looks like they babied it. It’s for sale by the first and only owner. It has 21,200 miles
That's a bit expensive. But crazy to find a 1 owner. I paid $4,600 for this bike in 2017 with 12k miles. Just sold this bike in 2024 with 27k miles for $5,600. So maybe try to get it at $6,500 or closer to $6k
Anyone know how to set the clock ?
Rear rim looks bent lol
It's the rim tape. It's not perfectly parallel to the rims egde. Makes the rim look bent.
@@samuelfitzsimmons8907 I don't think he cares anymore. It's been a year. Lmao
@@matts5124 lol true that.

Great review at last.Is it worth extra 1000$ for 2008 version they change it a bit or ita minior changes?
You'd probably only notice a difference driving them back to back. Part of me wishes I had the updated engine and more sharp rear end. But I've enjoyed this bike a lot and still have no reason to sell it
So from this comment i think its not worth extra 1000$ for 2008 model
@@lazarcatic 06-07 have valvetrain issues.
What’s the 60-100 time? Is it able to still get up and go from high speeds like that?
Not sure on the official time. But as long as you are above 8k rpm, it moves very, very quickly
Just bought one of these today!
Ryanmuniverse are you still using it
He said he'd do one more pull....then proceeded to short shift lol.
Nice review, but to get the real power you have to rev +12500 and pull the gas lever - neither you did. A good bike it is - I have a 2007 and it is a good piece of joy. :) Really easy to ride and with capacity far from what I, and most owners, ever will be able to demand. It's like the bike world's equivalent to the Porche 911 I think.
Lars-Petter Larsson fuck me I found one for 800 on Craigslist looks like I’m gonna die soon
Bro this is an A+ review! How exactly did you get those above shows with both your arms still on the clipons??
That was the 360 mount that we built! czcams.com/video/WYUm7Jzka84/video.html
@@BrosFOURRSpeed true genius and relatively simple too!
Price?
I love r6 2006 to 2016 team Yamaha blue paint
Haha yeah! I've had mine just over 3 years now and love it!!
exhaust name? Or stock exhaust(default/normal)?
Its the stock exhaust
Bram Nije Bijvank why is stock exhaust so loud. I thought stock exhaust suppose to be muffle or little bit quiet. Does every Yamaha R6 stock exhaust sound the same?
thanks for review
Loved this video! Now decided my first superbike is gonna be an R6😚
Sweet! I love the R6
In conclusion: it's cool
Really cool bruv
How in the hell did you do that
Dammn it looks so sexy
Im gonna buy an 18 r6
Yamaha→《R6》← the best motor show motor!!!"
Does it have a traction control?
Nope. The newer bikes do, along with ABS. But not on one this old
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Thanks. Do you know on which model year did it first appear?
@@ibadbaig576 2017 I think
Sounds awesome without the cat
I'm thinking to get R6 as my first bike and take it slow.
me too
yeah you can definitely start on a 600, just really take it slow and don't make crazy moves and youll be fine
Samuel S im going to buy an 18 r6 and im 18.
I WILL RESPECT IT
Awesome I'm about too start on a R6 soon too gl guys ride safe
I'm getting this week and taking it slow too bro
Still in use ??? any new videos on that ?
I still ride the R6!! It's my favorite bike! We don't make too many bike videos, not a whole lot of content around them. Any ideas you'd like to see that we think we could make on it?
@@BrosFOURRSpeed imagine that i watch this video 2 times per month just because i love the R6. Would like to see updates, mods, mountain riding!
@@lices We have mountain and track videos on the channel and the only mod on this bike was the exhaust, not much else I want to put on it!
Leaning towards are r6 or cbr600
Oh nice! Heres our comparison of my R6 vs my brothers CBR. Great bikes, just depends on what you like czcams.com/video/N1de03Ygn9s/video.html
what tyre you using bro?
Michelin Pilot Power 3
can i start on this??
Absolutely. If you have any riding skills it's pretty easy to learn on. As long as you stay in lower RPM, the bike really isn't that fast. Getting used to the weight of the bike might be a bit tough depending on your skill level.
Bros FOURR Speed if you drive a manual car do you have an advantage learning to ride? Or is it non transferable.
@@lun7n not really, you do have the knowledge of working a clutch tho
People believe the r6 is the best thing on track, but my 06 gsxr has the exact same power, weight, and top speed. In fact a gsxr 600 won motoamerica supersport this year. And suzuki is cheaper than Yamaha. And is geared more nicely for the street
Yeah I'm sure thats a great bike too. I think Yamaha is just a more popular brand, so it gets that name. But honestly all the 600cc bikes are really good. Just depends on what bike you like best. If you're not a pro rider, you won't notice a major difference for track riding
@@BrosFOURRSpeed 100%
does it have abs?
no. They didn't come out with that back in 2007 lol
Can it hold 2 passengers just curious
Yea! I've gone on plenty of trips with two people, it can start to get uncomfortable after about 160 miles lol, but around town is easy.
Thank you so much!:)
If all goes well I will own the same exact bike in about 3 hours
Nice! I love mine and it's so much fun!
I hope you got it I’m going to look at one for 4,500 with 16k miles is that a bad price
Idk if I wanna buy this or a Harley iron 886🤔
wreck'em tech depends on what you’re looking to do with it
Great video, check out the anything and everything show vlog 13, bikers:-)

Great short review! Want a R6 to replace my 250cc
I got a 2012 Ninja 250 to learn on in Jan. Sold it and got an R6 yesterday! Do it bro! Its CRAZY fun/Fast
4th And 99 would you recommend this as a first bike? I was thinking of getting the 250cc but I know I will want some power later on and don’t want to waste money with buying 2. Does the 250cc do good on the highway, will it speed up quick if you want to avoid an accident from a car switching lanes n not seeing you? Thanks
@@anwaralajami5819 I upgraded to a 600cc a few months ago and wish I got it in the very beginning. The 250cc doesn't have enough power for the highway. It's a great and safe bike for beginners but you outgrow the bike very quickly.
@@4thand998 I got a ninja 636 shortly after my first comment, completely different animals from a 250 lol
@@anwaralajami5819 The Ninja 250 was a GREAT bike to learn on since I had Zero experience but after about 2 months i already wanted to move up. It does good on the highway but definitely doesn't have the power to get out of bad situations. The biggest thing I didn't like about the 250 was i felt dangerous in high winds and when you hit pot holes because of the smaller tires. BUT the ninja was much less intimidating cuz it was lighter, lower to the ground and if you made a mistake you wont go flying off. I would say get a good 250 to learn on cuz its easy to re sell them them and move up...but you can Totally start on an R6 if your really careful and respect the bike. It only goes as fast as u let it! Good Luck! Hit me up on Insta "alex1019"
Dang. I’m 5’8. So I’ll be tippy toeing?
Most likely you'll not be able to flatfoot it. I'm 1,90 (6'3) and I'm able to flatfoot mine.
154 mph?? Mines topped out at 171 mph. With just after market exhaust. Everything else is stock
Ya i wanna see a vid of that lmao
@@dylinchamberlain9400 the R6 was the first 600cc s bike to ever hit 170+ mph. Mine shows almost 183mph but the real top speed is about 170... It shows 295kmh on the dash. The bike has 125hp stock, but with ram air, it gets a bit more power... This thing is quite impressive :)
You sure you know what you’re talking about?
Because 5:33
R6s are famous for their lack of power unless you’re above 11-12,000 revs
Above 8000*
And the hornnnn
4:21
It's a good sounding exhaust for the Yamaha R6!
shes a rattly one... a definite noob type review!
awesome bike but that windscreen is horrible.
In my country (norway) it costs like 10-12000$. And no i don't mean a new one 😂 new r6 2018 model 25000$
usd or krone?
In the netherlands 8k for the limited edition with arkapovic :p
I found one for $1020
im a beginner rider and im sure you don't start raving with a cold start
They were warmed up after our ride of filming.
Editing is kind of magical lol, and I'm sure you know what they say about ASSuming
Said the engine was at 140 degrees.
Back tire is too small. Looks weak.
Nice Chicken strip
Bro stop shifting early. Power is past 8000 rpm your shifting at like 6
I get on in a good bit, but also remember these are fast bikes. 2nd gear can put you over 100 mph easy, and I'm not about doing that (on country roads every now and then), but just doing a review and going that fast you wouldn't hear any audio.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed good point. Great vid brotha
@@Young_king888 Thanks man
That chain needs to be cleaned badly
Visor looks weird geez
Somebody did a shitty job with the wheel stripes.
They sure did!! I ended up pealing it off and doing it myself. They look perfect now!
I thought the rim was bent but it’s just a bad pinstripe job around the rim lol
Yeah these were the pin striped when I bought the bike. Previous owner did a crapy job. I replaced them with pre curved stripes and now they are perfect
Older models can go to like 175mphs
Yo BrO yes sir my 2007 Yamaha R6 gets up to 173 check my video out
A 600cc? Impossible..
the 2008 R6 actually is the first 600cc production bike to ever hit 172.24 mph. Not sure about the other years, but the 08 was recorded at that. Look it up on Google, guys. Highly impressive.
Yeah its possible
U think it’s safe to buy a R1 has a first bike
Pops 88 lol yea i guess but take it really is it bro. Dont abuse the machinery and please respect it and take it easy.
Pops 88 just get an r6
Yea riding it is a whole different story tho

Cool information man!
LIES! The seat on this bike is FAR from comfortable. This bike is a ball crusher and it will numb your butt and burn your shins off. I sold my silver "08"
Comfort is subjective
Exhaust sounds like shit.
That’s my fuckin bike you thief!
What a useless "pull". Why change gear at just 9000 rpm? The R6 is known for delivering its power at the top end yet you didn't even take it there.
Well once you get above that you will be closer to triple digit speeds and I'm not about speeding just for a review. Obviously the bike is much faster than this, if you'd like to see some pulls here's a track day I did with a CBR600.. czcams.com/video/QHug3GP9xvA/video.html start at 2:11
