    I admire you that the kids having fun doesn't seem to bother you too much. Kids should be allowed to be kids, but I would be a wreck.

      @@hull_k0gan641 Wait until the schooling system removes her ability to question -- that is far worse.
      I have a vivid recollection of my farmer grandfather asking, in a kind of shocked way, why his city raised grandson never asked any questions when I was hanging out with him doing farm stuff.
      John Taylor Gatto wrote about it in The Underground History of American Education. Search him on CZcams. The following is golden:
      Trivium Method of Systematic Intellectual Self-Defense (Replaced by Appeal to Authority and Appeal to Popularity Logical Fallacies promoted by the Money Masters)
      schoolsucksproject.com/tag/gene-odening/
      Logical Fallacy Free Applied Logic
      www.triviumeducation.com/logic/
      Note: there is a WAR on the plain meaning of "appeal to authority" logical fallacy because the Empire wants you to implicitly believe (ie, worship) their "authorities'" UNSUBSTANTIATED CLAIMS.
      Any authority, whether fake or real, who claims something is true because s/he said it was true is utilizing an "appeal to authority" logical fallacy. PERIOD.
      Real knowledge is the result of logically assembled relevant grammar that is free of both contradictions and logical fallacy dependence.
      The two biggest logical fallacies that are used to program the unwitting minds of the masses are 1. appeal to authority, and 2. appeal to popularity (popular opinion being formed primarily via appeal to authority, so they are related).
      Caveat emptor!

    To Everyone complaining about this video and the helpful gentleman who made this… which btw thank you +RomanAutomotive great video absolutely helped a lot!

    A:you shouldn’t be working on any vehicle if you can’t troubleshoot your sockets/ drivers. From first glance I think it’s 8mm or 10mm
    It could be an E40 but if you don’t know how to troubleshoot what kind of driver to use on your socket set then go to a mechanic foolin with your serpentine/ driver belt can cause serious problems and god forbid it actually hurt other drivers.. hopeful thinking it would just hurt you if u thought that was a good idea.
    Again thanks for the video helped a ton @RomanAutomotive

    I’m curious about your pressure that you’re using to squeeze the belt. Would you say that it’s about the pressure of squeezing a green grape and popping it open? Or squeezing a half a lemon to juice it?? I need to get that kind of information, please.

    I have a question. I was going to change my serpentine belt on an 03 nissan maxima but...... The bolt for the idler pulley has been.... Omg! Destroyed. No chance at a bite on it what so ever
    I can't believe whoever done that was any smarter than an idiot. Can't get a welderbto tack a bolt. Any suggestions? Is there a way around that. I know I just need to replace the whole deal. Just don't have a fat bank account at the moment. Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated!

    • @vinoalonzo6297
      @vinoalonzo6297 Před 6 lety +1

      God like beastmode I think all you need is a 1/2" breaker bar to relief the spring tension off the belt. To actually remove the tensioner you'll need whatever size socket attaches it to the motor

  • @ulyslightt

    I’m trying to tighten the belt tensioner but instead of going up and tightening the bolt goes outwards ultamitely detaching from the pulley any idea what I’m doing wrong?

    • @4207Points
      @4207Points Před 9 měsíci

      I know it's been a yr so you probably figured it out but sometimes depending on the car and style of tensioner you have to loosen the pulley bolt first then you can adjust using the tensioner bolt once you have it were you want them go ahead and tighten the pulley bolt back up.
