Overview
The P-51D Mustang is one of the most popular and iconic fighter aircraft of all time! Its unique design resulted in it delivering some of the best performance among all fighter aircraft flown in WWII. Because of that incredible performance, even today, many P-51s are still being flown in airshows and air races around the world. "Voodoo" is a modified P-51D Mustang that won the Unlimited Class at the Reno Air Races in 2013, 2014, and 2016. Its unique trim scheme is highly recognizable yet is rarely replicated on RC models. The E-flite® UMX™ P-51D Voodoo is an ultra-micro version of the famous racer based on an updated and upgraded version of the original UMX P-51D BL that's even easier and more fun to fly than ever before! It's now equipped with optional-use SAFE® Select, is 2S and 3S-compatible, and provides real-time battery voltage telemetry to compatible transmitters. Because of its ultra-micro size, the UMX Voodoo can be flown in more places and smaller spaces, including many yards, parks, and sports fields! The fixed landing gear with a steerable tailwheel makes it easy to taxi, takeoff from, and land on smooth surfaces, or you can leave the landing gear off for more speed and vertical performance with easy hand launches over and landings on grass. It's the most affordable, convenient, and easiest-to-fly replica of a P-51 racer yet!

I really love this one , its so fast and quiet on the 3S and flys incredibly well .
Almost all the UMX planes use the gear switch for SAFE .
I use the flight models from Spektrum , it only takes seconds to download and install and all the switches are set , even the voice is turned on with the new ones .
Welcome back!! "Differential ailerons" or "Aileron Differential" is when Ailerons are set up this way, the up travel is normal and the opposite aileron that goes down is limited to much less deflection. The reason why ailerons are sometimes set up this way is to counteract any adverse yaw when the airplane is in a banked turn caused by increased lift and drag from the aileron going down. So great seeing a "BROTHERS" video again!

Nice plane! Welcome back! The ailerons going up more than down is by design.They are reducing drag when the ailerons go down, to avoid adverse yaw.

I'm in SD, and it rained yesterday for the first time in 6 months. When it rains here, we go on holiday!
In the late 1980's I twice attended the 'Planes of Fame' airshow at the Chino airport. They had a Japanese Flying Zero and some WWII Corsairs (among many others) some beautiful old corporate jets and an original German Buzz Bomb (on display). They were also trying to restore an original flying-wing. The model vehicle museum is also wonderful.
What I would give to see that my friend.

Voodoo was a pile of P-51 parts in a hangar in the late 70's which was rebuilt into Pegasus and taken to Reno. The owner/restorer built another p-51 named Deja Vu and took it to Reno where he had an inflight medical emergency and crashed. Pegasus was sold and renamed Voodoo and received modifications to be a faster racer, it now owns the speed record for propeller driven aircraft at 531mph.

You think your weather is bad, it's supposed to be summer here in Auckland NZ and we have had weeks of rain, sometimes 6 days in a row before 1 fine day then rain again! Our water tanks are still overflowing when they should be 1/3 down. So good to see you guys out again, enjoy yourselves 🙂

The plane flies both faster and a little bit longer if you remove the wheels - hand launch/belly land. Great plane on 3S! Super quiet as well.
