- Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan shared his excitement for the NFL Draft with just a few days before the event. He spoke exclusively with our Carolyn Clifford about what the city has done to prepare for the draft, what fans can expect and more.
Kudos to Mayor Duggan for all the work being done to help make Detroit a better place.
I used to live in Detroit, no longer live in Michigan. I often visit Detroit. I am so pleased with what the mayor is doing with this city. I’m glad I still own a home in Detroit. So if I decide to come back, I have a home to come to. Thank you, so much for what you have done for the city of Detroit. May God bless this mayor.

Hey Mayor Duggan, how bout a pedestrian bridge that connects Hart Plaza, and the River Walk to the rest of Detroit? I know none of you walk, you just get dropped off your chauffeurs, but seriously Detroit has the worst pedestrian friendly traffic lights in the country, and quite frankly it's not even close.
I think a better idea would be to reduce the lanes on Jefferson, which would require state cooperation since I believe it's a state highway.
Oh yeah this is going to make people say I could live here. Get rid of the crime then see people say thst
Check the stats the city crime rates have fallen over the past several years.. Every major city in America has its share of crime.
