Loved your review! Gorgeous bags. I also got caught up for awhile in buying luxury bags. And, like you, one day I realized that was dumb (for me). I ended up selling all my LV. I recently also rediscovered Dooney. I just bought two Florentine bags and love them. I am totally content with these bags. 😊

Hello from a fellow D&B addict! It has gotten to the point where I only carry Dooneys now. When you consider the quality of them, they are actually very affordable. I have Dooneys that are over 10 years old, that still look current! This is because classics do not go out of style.

I've been wanting a D&B florentine satchel for about a year, but I just couldn't decide which color to choose. I wanted something that I could use year round, and that would coordinate nicely with the colors I wear most often. I never even considered the navy until I watched this video. The minute you removed it from its packaging, I knew that navy was the color for me! I found a brand new one on Poshmark that was completely smooth, and I pulled the trigger. I'm so glad I did! Fantastic haul, and happy birthday! I agree 100% on luxury bags and quality. I still have mine, but really Dooney was my first love and still is especially the Florentine leather, and the satchel is the perfect silhouette. All of the colors are so gorgeous! I have the small in the natural and the aqua, and the mini in the kelly green. I have been wanting to pick up the navy as well, but for the life of me I can not decide on another small, or mini. Love love love the chestnut too. I was originally torn between the natural and the chestnut, but in the end decided that my speedys in mono and ebene would fit the need for that color. Can’t wait for the follow up videos and comparisons/what fits. Thank you for a great video!

First, the haul was incredible! Second, my goodness what beautiful handbags. Smooth and luxurious Florentine leather handpicked from the store can’t be beat. I am going to an outlet near me for the first time on Labor Day hoping for a Labor Day sale. My birthday is in September and I hope I can score a haul like yours. I have the large chestnut and the small in brown tmoro. I’m hoping for a beautiful smooth navy like yours in any size. Thank you for this video. Those bags are made here in CT I have maybe 20 of them I always find them so cheap in the consignment shops costing between 10 and 20.00. The Florentine is the only one I feel is full price worthy because it's a starter brand in my opinion.

Downey is a starter brand and a finisher brand. I have about 20 Hermes, 50 LV, 40 Chanel, 15 Fendi, 10 YSL….and I go back to my Coach and Dooney a lot and have been selling my more expensive bags. Dooney’s quality is the best!

I was gonna say…I have two small Florentine satchels lol. That navy was a bit too big to be a mini lol. But I recently bought the micro because the mini wasn’t the right small size for me. But the micro is AMAZING! I love the size so much & is a perfect crossbody size. So the regular size satchel & the micro is perfection for me. Thank you so much for the video. You actually helped me decide on getting the micro. I am definitely going to buy more micro Florentine bags. It’s my absolute favorite size & crossbody bag now.

I just got the micro in natural it's gorgeous and I'm getting the mini in navy. I had to get it on eBay but it's brand new. I love your video. It really gets me excited about my bags too❤❤❤❤, dooney makin a comeback! And I have that little duck bag too. I think I cut the key strap out.😂

I have well over two dozen D&B bags and wallets in various styles and have never been disappointed. I have one that is 25 years old and still looks amazing. The quality is superb. I also have a handful of “luxury” bags that I like very much but the Dooney’s are, in my opinion, better overall. There are several price points and material options to choose from and I believe anyone could pick a Dooney of their style and not be disappointed.

Okay. May I just say, first, I LOVE all of your bags!😍 San Marcos is my closest Dooney store, also, and I enjoy visiting so much.
Secondly, what you said about buying and then getting caught up in luxury is SO spot on. I started out with Dooney, moved to Coach, and then explored higher end brands for a couple of years. After being disappointed with declining quality and bad customer service, "priced out" (I refuse to keep paying the insane prices these ridiculous brands have the audacity to ask!), etc., I'm currently back to Dooney and Coach vintage. Full circle.😄 Imo, most luxury products have never really been worth it (mainly paying for the name/stamp), and they're even LESS worth it now. Especially since brands like Dooney produce such excellent quality goods at very affordable prices.

@ItalidaReviews EXACTLY! Florentine leather is some of the absolute best I've seen by ANY brand. Full grain, vegetable tanned leather at its best. And Dooney products last "forever," so can be trusted.

You def need one in EVERY size seriously ❣…..and for sure in that stunning light blue!!……as a decorator/designer I agree that LV has really gone down in their quality….my sister has a beautiful collection of LV bags from the late 1980’s until approx 2006 and all are amazing, so look in that time period next time you would like one……also I love Celine bags and esp the smooth leather micro and mini luggage with gold hardware so beautiful 🤗….can’t wait to hear the price you were able to get your satchels for……🫶

Great, video, I enjoy your very detailed descriptions of everything. I've watched this video several times over to help me decide which size and color I want to get of the Florentine Satchel - I think I"ve landed on getting the same Nano in Chestnut. I'm waiting for a sale, I just missed one they had. I did get the Florentine Small Zip Wallet a couple weeks ago in the color Ivy and I'm totally in love with it (looks exactly like the one you show here but you call it Teal). as of recently i just bought the chestnut nano and I can attest to why people love the florentine. Its so soft to the touch. I can hardly wait to wear it when i go back to work. I got these riding boots of a similar color that I am gonna be wearing with it.

I love how you say THESE crappy dust bags….. and hold up the blue dustbag for our indictment. 😂. They are crappy. They remind me of a scratchy disposable hospital gown or the disposable fabric used in a dentist bib. CertInly not luxurious keeping with the quality of the bags. Great video. I love anything Florentine. I collect the Small Zip Around Wallets and none have leather lining. Maybe it was a sample. Very nice haul. Your navy is actually the small or now known as regular size that is about 13" wide. The mini has the thin strap that is not a 3 piece. You can double up the long straps for regular shoulder length.

Red is really pretty! The bags can be heavy on their own because they’re made of good quality leather. But if you go with the micro size then it’s not bad. I’m used to heavy bags so it doesn’t phase me, but I understand how some may not want to lug around a bag all day. Let me know if you get one and how you like it!! TFW 💕

I had no idea a DB store was near me. I’m gonna go there next weekend I’m off. I just got into bags recently and never heard of DB but they seem like good quality and don’t have super crazy prices.

Your other video inspired me to buy my second Micro today...I wish there was a way to show you pictures because I, too, have the Micro and the Mini..I think your Navy Mini is actually a size Small. I took pictures comparing my micro and mini and the difference between them is much less than the difference between your 2 bags.

The bags are slightly heftier than most bags but only because of the quality of the materials. It’s not unbearable, in my opinion.
Hi, Are the credit cards easy to remove in the Florentine wallet? The wallet I presently have I barely could get my cards out 🥴. Love the Ecru color ! Like the teal also but spring is coming so I am going for a lighter color . Thanks!

Hello, Now that you’ve carried the micro and mini for awhile, which size do you prefer? Were the prices you paid at the store better than what their sale is right now? I ask because we are going to San Antonio soon and I thought I'd go by the San Marcos store instead of buying online.
Hello! I prefer the micro for crossbody and it’s also so cute! The navy bag is actually a regular size. I didn’t realize until after the video. I love the micro best. I would definitely go to the store to buy because not only are the prices better but you can also hand pick which one you want. The leather varies a lot from one bag to the next.

Be careful with the natural color they are prone to spotting if they get rained on.
Get a pack of Water Wipes and just wipe down the whole bag. The water spots will fade, if not disappear entirely. I do this with any untreated leather (even LV), and it works a treat!
I’m not picky like that as long as I don’t see glue and thread sticking out I like flaws on mine I’m opposite of you picky people . As long as they send what I chose I’m like a kid in a candy store
