This was great! I have been using cloves spray but not in an intentional way although I can see some growth has taken place. Now I'm going to challenge myself using your method- wash, deep condition, protective style etc so I can see what my hair looks like in 7 dausThank for posting. Blessings

I'm using clove water, too. What's nice for me is that I have been able to stop using protective styles (which didn't do anything for my hair, looked awful and kept me in wigs). My hair behaves, I can style it and not have a ball of hair in my hand afterward, and the tangling is much less than before.

QUESTION 🙋♂️ I want to ask if Henna powder can be used on hair that has been colored by semi permanent and permanent hair color? If so, does the color need to be stripped or not? So glad it is working for you too. Yes I will recommend giving it a break after 3-6 month's. While using it make sure to moisturize your hair properly.

Hi and welcome to the family. Yes some people complain about cloves drying their hair out but I keep my hair in braids so I don't notice any dryness. If so you can moisturize your hair using an leave-in, cream and an oil and put your hair in braids or twist

You can leave it in the fridge or outside (underneath the bathroom cabinet). It should last for several months under the cabinet and it can last for years in the fridge. Cloves doesn't go bad, but the fragrance may be less the longer you have it.

Co-wash is short for "conditioning wash". It's the practice of washing your hair with a conditioner, rather than a shampoo. It's a great method for people who wash their hair often.
Conditioners contain surfactants, the same as shampoos, only the surfactants in conditioners are not as foamy, nor as "stripping or deep cleansing" as the ones in a shampoo.
When you mainly co-wash your hair, it's important to use a regular shampoo at least twice a month, and a clarifying shampoo at least once a month, in order to remove build up on the hair that a conditioner is unable to do.
